"We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and very central, making it easy to explore the city. Unfortunately, we visited during the Midsummer holiday, so many shops and restaurants were closed, but that was not the hotel’s fault. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the hotel’s sauna, which was a great way to relax after a long driv. Overall, the room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We would happily stay here again."

"The staff was excellent and service good. Happy that the man course for dinner was included in the price. A good touch since it was really cold and would have been a challenge to go out for dinner. We were also lucky enough to catch the northern lights. Considering the amount we paid, I was expecting a bit more amenities and faculties - like a public sauna or/and a steam room. The room was also bit cold and underfloor heating in the bathroom would have been good. To be fair, we were there during the coldest weather spell in Rovaniemi for 10 years (so we we’re told) with temp dipping to as low as 35 deg C."

"The location is smack right in the heart of town Center. There is a mall opposite, a Chinese restaurant beside and a walking 5 min to Santa town office. Not to mention bus stop is just 1 min walk. There is no better place to be sleeping in rovaniemi. Part of the Europe regulation; there are no disposal amenities . So if you want a room slipper, better bring your own else you will be walking in cold floor. Breakfast is sufficient. Nothing fancy, but above the average hotel with choice of balls, cold cuts, fruit and pastries .  Didn’t manage to see the gym nor sauna as was busy out looking at Santa’s creation."

"Strategic location easily accessible to the nearest shopping mall & Santa Claus office in the city centre. Room wise is very clean with comfortable mattress, shower & everything (with hand bidet is definitely a plus point!) It comes with free access to sauna between 6 to 7pm daily for men as well. Receptionists are very friendly, humble & helpful. Able to meet up with guests from all over the world in the sharing kitchen & living area. Will definitely recommend to all my friends who visiting to Rovaniemi in future."

"Our stay was excellent. The hotel's location is unbeatable, very convenient for getting around and exploring Santa's village. The cabin was beautiful, with top-notch amenities, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – it even had a sauna! All of this made for a wonderful few days. The breakfast was truly exquisite, with high-quality and varied products. We also want to highlight the staff's kindness: both the reception team and the breakfast attendants were consistently attentive, warm, and eager to help. I especially want to commend Gonzalo, who gave us a very warm welcome and was always there to assist us. Without a doubt, this is a place we would return to and 100% recommend."

"Artic Snowhotel is a nice place to stay if you need to take a break from the city. Overall the room was nice, and the view was good. However, the only thing I felt disappointed is the location is quite far from city and it was very difficult for us to order car/taxi, even when you had already ordered the car, you also need to wait for 25mins for them to come. This is the only headache thing when you stay here but if you think positively, it will be a high chance to see the aurora if during your stay the aurora reaches its strongest intensity as it was far from city."

"Very good and homey hotel. Front Desk being very nice, giving useful advice in transport and travel information. They allow earlier check-in too if room already available! Be careful on toilet as the water may leak on ground, it is design problem nothing can be changed though. From city centre to hotel is a 7 mins walk (without luggage) (little upslope), which is already a very convenient choice in Rovaniemi In summary, is a highly recommended hotel for your stay in Rovaniemi!"

"Since it was a detached building, there were no special services! I knew that when I went, so there were no problems. There were also facilities where you can learn about the Northern Lights and Finnish nature, as well as a large supermarket, within walking distance, so there were no problems. I recommend this hotel for those who are just looking for a place to stay!"

"Our stay in the glass igloo was amazing! The accommodation was very clean, and it included all the necessary amenities. It even came with a kitchenette. We were fortunate to see the aurora borealis just outside our igloo on the night we arrived, and watching the sunrise from the igloo was simply magical. The meals at the resort were fantastic. I would highly recommend the Fox Arctic Glass Igloo Resorts for a memorable experience."

It was a wonderful 3 nights stay in the lovely town of Rovaniemi. The hotel is located in the city center, which makes dining and shopping and getting around anywhere super convenient. The train station is also a short 5 minutes drive away. My room was clean, cosy, spacious and tastefully designed. Love the Finnish sauna; we went everyday! Also the breakfast spread was super lovely; love the crayfish salad. The hotel also uses Iittala and Marimekko tableware in the breakfast buffet as well as in the room. I love the Iittala cup they used in the room so much that I bought 2 for my house! Totally recommend this hotel if you visit Rovaniemi!

I can only say that I must stay here next time. Friends who have cars, don’t hesitate. There is no need to spend a lot of money to live in the city. It’s a 10-minute drive. This hotel really surprised me. It’s quiet and the environment is so good. I didn’t expect it. For 100 yuan, you can live in a detached building with a sauna. It has parking for everything and is convenient. My only complaint is that the bedding is not as warm and thin as in the hotel. The thin layer is not enough for two people. It is a bit simple.

This was a great location slightly out of the city to catch the Northern Lights without going on a tour (we saw it two nights out of two)! The glass cabins were well kept and clean, we were two adults and two teens and there was enough space for everyone. Note that this resort serves only five cabins and no one else, so the exclusivity is unsurpassed! It is also beside a frozen lake and you can walk to the middle to catch the auroras. A lot of nature activities to occupy the family in the daytime. Some recommendations would be the sauna+frozen lake dip, ice fishing and hiking to the rock church. The founder of the resort, Theo, is ultra friendly and nice and all the staff there (shoutout to Millie and Guillaume!) really go above and beyond to help make our stay there so memorable. All the photos uploaded I took with just my iphone16. All in I was extremely happy we chose this place for the Rovaniemi leg of our trip.

Overall: Generally nice hotel with an excellent location in downtown Rovaniemi. Loved the bedding and the extra pillow for stacking. The room does come with air conditioning; however, it's not really noticeable. Luckily, there's a small, openable window section to let in cool air from outside. The room is as expected; however, the bathroom is really toooooo tight and small. Location-wise, perfect. A close walk (literally within minutes) to the main street, with lots of stores and restaurants.

In the mountains~ It is more convenient to drive by yourself! There are not many people, very quiet~ It takes about half an hour to drive from Santa Claus Village Drive into the woods of the hotel. There is a kind of lonely beauty!! It is also very mysterious... There are also deer in the hotel! It’s a pity that I didn’t see the northern lights this time

Right in Santa Claus village. If you come in the winter, it’s a good location and there will be many activities inside the village. But if you come here in other seasons like us, there will be boring and far from the downtown because lots of activities are stopped. You can take bus no.4 or Santa clause express to downtown at cost. Room with sauna is very good experience

The place is absolutely beautiful, only few steps from Ounasvaara Ski Resort. The Chalet was really good and cosy with amazing views from the windows and balcony. Our private Chalet had a second bedroom which we didn’t use as my daughter and myself preferred the first floor. We loved having our own sauna in the bathroom, great addition to relax and we enjoyed it sooo much! Breakfast was excellent with great selection, we loved the waffle maker! Staff were all helpful and pleasant. Location is excellent, not far from the airport, city centre, and Santa Claus Village. Overall, perfect Chalet, we would definitely recommend staying here, we had a great time!

The location of this hotel is superb! For the strategic location of this hotel by the river I would say YES to this hotel anytime. But feedback to the hotel to improve are: - House Keeping need to buck up a bit, I geddit it is peak period in Dec and it is tough to clean the room but still.. - Considering the room I stayed is newly renovated, the toilet is just too small- especially the sink!! Smaller than the one in the airplane. - Reception services are nice and friendly but just too slow.. I geddit that it is peak,, all the more they need to speed up

I stayed at Apukka Resort and it was truly unforgettable. Everything was perfect, from the spotless cleanliness to the peaceful location near the airport. The service was exceptional; they even picked us up by car from the reception and drove us directly to our room, which made everything feel so warm and personal despite the -30°C weather. Sipping hot chocolate in the freezing Arctic air felt surreal, and our private sauna session was incredibly relaxing, the perfect way to end a snowy day. But the most magical moment? Watching the Northern Lights dance right in front of our room. So vivid, so clear, so unreal. It was honestly one of the best experiences of our lives. A dream I will never forget.

The Glass Igloo was great but you have to walk to the guesthouse for your showers. The breakfast was great and the restaurant provided good options for lunch and breakfast. For the adventurous, you can go to the nearby supermarket and cook your meal in the sheltered fireplace. Don't forget to experience either the traditional or the electrical sauna during your stay! Most importantly, participate in the guided activities with hot drinks and roasted sausages such as husky sled rides, aurora hunting, and ice skating.
