Yichang Hotels with Wifi

"I came to Yichang for a four-day trip during the May Day holiday and finally chose to stay at the Licheng Hotel after much deliberation. Convenient Location: The hotel is right opposite the Yiling Yangtze River Bridge, facing the river. It's not far from the Tourist Center or Wanda Plaza. In the evenings, after dinner, you can stroll along the river back to the hotel. Although it's on a busy street and they provide earplugs for potential noise, we slept with the windows closed and didn't notice any issues. Attentive Service: Upon check-in, we received thoughtful reminders. When we left, we didn't have time for breakfast, so they even gave us some snacks to go. I accidentally left my headphones behind, and the hotel staff were incredibly patient, meticulous, thoughtful, and warm in helping me find them. I'd like to thank every staff member who assisted me. Rich Breakfast: Due to a tight schedule, we usually left by 7 AM. Here, you can start dining at the restaurant as early as 6:40 AM, which was very convenient. In short, Yichang has beautiful scenery and wonderful people!"

"The location is super convenient for transportation, getting around, and dining. Choosing to stay near Wanda Plaza was definitely a smart move. There are three 'conveniences' here! The visitor center is right across the street, making it easy for group tour meet-ups. The breakfast was also excellent. You can easily take an evening stroll along the river, which is very pleasant. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable."

"Pros: 1. The location is excellent. Wanda Plaza is downstairs, and the Three Gorges Tourist Center is just across the street. 2. No need to wake up early for group tours. For the Two Gorges and One Dam tour, the meeting time is 7:20 AM. I could go downstairs at 7:10 AM, grab breakfast at 7-Eleven, and still make it to the meeting point, which was really nice. 3. The room offered a partial view of the Yangtze River and the bridge, which was a pleasant surprise. 4. The front desk's response time to issues and their solutions were quite satisfactory. Cons: 1. The soundproofing is a serious problem. Around 1 AM, I could clearly hear conversations and other activities from the next room, almost as if the sounds were surrounding me. When I knocked on the wall, it sounded like a wooden partition. 2. Hot water supply at Wanda Apartment is insufficient. If you shower late at night, you might not have hot water. 3. It's not a 24-hour concierge service, so any issues reported late at night have to wait until the next day to be resolved."

"This hotel is good and centrally located, and the counter staff are helpful.  However, our experience was spoilt by several guests smoking profusely in the small enclosed hotel reception.  The cigarette smoke would also seep into the guest rooms especially those just next to the counter.  There should be constant reminders eg a big sign to remind guests that smoking is not allowed in enclosed space."

"This is our second stay at your hotel, and it was absolutely wonderful! A huge thank you to the lovely young lady at the front desk for her warm, friendly, and thoughtful service. She even arranged for us to have a river-view room with a fantastic panorama. Falling asleep to that view at night was incredibly relaxing. The room itself was cozy, tidy, comfortable, and clean. The hotel also has its own underground and above-ground parking. We even received small gifts upon check-in and check-out, which was a very sweet touch. Both the breakfast and the dinner buffet were incredibly rich and diverse. Definitely worth staying – highly recommended!"

"My parents and I took a Yangtze River cruise from Chongqing to Yichang. After disembarking in the morning, we checked into the Wyndham Yichang at noon. We booked a suite with a huge living room featuring a large, curved floor-to-ceiling window offering beautiful river views. The sofa in the living room was big enough for one person to sleep on, so we didn't need an extra bed. The bedroom had an air purifier, and even though it's a new hotel, there was absolutely no new-decoration smell (my mom and I both have sensitive noses). Our butler, Sunny, contacted me the day before check-in to ask about our arrival time and needs. Since there were three of us, she proactively offered a complimentary breakfast for the third person, which was incredibly thoughtful! The room she arranged perfectly matched my request for a good view. We also received welcome fruit and delicate pastries. Just a friendly reminder to everyone, the minibar is complimentary, which I thought was a great touch. When we went to visit the Three Gorges Dam with our cruise tour guide, the guide mentioned that the local Lunwan oranges are particularly delicious this season. My mom and I were instantly intrigued. Around 8 PM, I messaged Sunny on WeChat, asking where we could buy fresh Lunwan oranges near the hotel. Sunny suggested checking the fruit shops near Wanda Plaza, downstairs from the hotel. When we returned to the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find that Sunny had arranged for a colleague to deliver a large bag of oranges to our room – what a wonderful surprise! We bought a bag of oranges from a small fruit truck behind the hotel downstairs, and we also tried the oranges from the hotel. The hotel's oranges were clearly much better – not exceptionally large, but noticeably fresher, with thinner skin and more juice. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00 (breakfast is served in the main restaurant downstairs, not the Executive Lounge). The hotel's breakfast spread is extensive. Besides the usual egg and noodle stations, there's also a congee station where you can choose your own ingredients (seafood, beef, century egg and lean pork, etc.). They also offer Yichang's local radish dumplings (it would be even better if they had Yichang's signature spicy oil buns). The Executive Lounge is open from 12:00 to 20:00, offering all-day service: around 6 kinds of fresh fruit, freshly ground coffee, tea, soft drinks, and small biscuits. There's also alcohol available (I'm not sure if it's available all day, as we don't drink). • Afternoon Tea (approx. 14:00-17:00): A good variety of hotel-made cakes (they weren't overly sweet, which was a plus!). • Happy Hour (18:00-20:00): Several types of cold cuts, vegetable salads, and what seemed like 4-6 hot dishes, two of which were fried. The selection was a bit limited."

"I stayed two nights at this hotel, and on the second night, I switched to a different room type. I noticed that the amenities vary quite a bit between rooms. First, the light switches in this room were numerous but unlabeled, so I had to try each one to figure out what it controlled. Second, the air conditioning was incredibly noisy. The river view itself was decent, but there was a black screen in the middle of the window that obstructed the view, forcing me to crouch down to see properly."

"I booked this Holiday Inn Express along the river in advance on Ctrip, as I was taking my parents back to Yichang to visit family and pay respects at the cemetery. My flight landed a bit late, but the front desk service was excellent when I checked in. The hotel's overall environment is very clean, and the room amenities are complete. Although the room faced the street (with a river view), the soundproofing was good. There's also a laundry room and a gym on the second floor. The restaurant is next to the gym; while the breakfast selection isn't huge, they have hot dry noodles, which taste great. Overall, it was a very good stay."

"The hotel is located on top of an office building, with rooms on the 37th to 40th floors. The underground parking lot has dedicated hotel parking spaces and elevators. Despite being on high floors, the elevators are very fast. There are also charging stations downstairs. Yichang has an abundant power supply, so electricity fees aren't expensive. The hotel service is excellent; they contacted me a day in advance to inform me about directions to the hotel, parking, and other details. My stay was very comfortable. This was my first time in Yichang, and I originally just planned to rest during a road trip. However, I found it to be a beautiful city and ended up staying an extra day. The river view is truly stunning!"
