Wenchang Hotels with Wifi

I chose this B&B on the last day of my trip and it was a great experience! The environment is also wrong. I booked a suite with a small balcony where I can hang clothes. There is a washing machine downstairs. I originally wanted to go to the sea. The B&B provides sea-going tools and there are free bicycles at the door. We rode to the coconut grove in the eastern suburbs. I went to catch the sea, but the tide didn't go out, so I played on the beach for a while, rode along the Huanhai Highway, and walked around Dongjiao Town for a while. It was really lively at night. There were many people outside the milk tea shops, reflecting the leisurely life of Hainanese! We thought about going back to the B&B to watch an outdoor movie, but it rained unexpectedly, so we decided not to do it. The next day we went to eat the breakfast rolls provided by the B&B. I have to say that the breakfast here was really rich and plentiful. I can’t choose between them, Dad’s tea is delicious and I recommend the iced coffee! Bonus points for being the most satisfying hotel I stayed in after traveling to Hainan for so many days!

This is really a very nice hotel, unexpected in a relatively small town. The room looks new and is very comfortable. I especially liked the cosy seating area near the window. Staff was exceptionally friendly as well. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are not very interesting, but the location is very convenient nonetheless: walking distance (20-30 minutes) to Qilou Old Street, only 2 bus stops away from the train station and also close to local buses to tourist areas such as Tonggu Ridge (though I've read not all sites there are open to foreigners, I mainly wanted to see Gusong fishing village and that's no problem) and Gaolong Bay. The only area of improvement is that this hotel has a tendency to keep calling customers before their stay (3 times I got an SMS in Chinese saying something like ”Meilin Hotel is going to call you, please pick up”, followed by a call from an unknown number). I can communicate in simple Chinese but am not great at doing phone calls in Chinese and in any case I hate this kind of insistent phone calls. I didn't pick up but after the second call checked with Trip.com what was wrong, expecting some major problem. It turned out the hotel just wanted to confirm a small change I had made to my booking, which had already been confirmed in the app anyway... While this attitude is perhaps meant as service, I perceived it as annoying and superfluous and I would strongly suggest the hotel stops harassing customers with phone calls unless there's a real emergency. Having said this, the staff on site in the hotel was exceptionally friendly and polite; this is one of the few hotels in China where staff members actually greeted me when I walked past reception, which was much appreciated! I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I ever visited Wenchang again.

We planned to go to Wennan Old Street and Confucius Temple the next day, so we chose to stay in a nearby hotel. Advantages: 1. The bedding is good and the sleeping experience is very good. The balcony is quite large and the view is relatively wide. 2. The location of the hotel is very good. There is a gas station across the road, close to the downtown area, and complete supporting facilities. 3. The shower is very good and the bath is comfortable. Disadvantages 1. The surrounding environment of the hotel is a bit messy. There are two clubs in front, and the parking lot is full of garbage, and the hygiene is worrying. Others, The projection is OK, not to mention the giant screen audio and video. The partridge tea bags in the room are unique, and the decoration style gives people a sense of Hainan characteristics. Overall, the price-performance ratio is above average.

The first choice for traveling in Wenchang! The service team is really amazing. From check-in to check-out, the whole process is smiling. The front desk lady not only patiently answers questions, but also actively recommends surrounding attractions. The beautiful staff is beautiful and has a good attitude, which makes people feel super happy. The mattress and bedding are so comfortable that you don’t want to get out of bed. The quality of disposable supplies is superb. The location of the hotel is a 10-minute drive to Wennan Old Street. There are many bus stops around, which makes travel super convenient. The most considerate thing is that the free parking lot is spacious enough to park three cars. Staying for one night is just over 200 yuan. The facilities and services are completely worth the price. It is highly recommended to partners who pursue high cost performance!

On the way back, I stayed in Wenchang for two days. I wanted to be extravagant. I saw many hotels. When I met the ”first step” hotel, I didn't hesitate to like it! The first step hotel with a poor appearance, the price is civilian, the service is thoughtful, the front desk girl will be upgraded for free when they meet, and when they enter the door, There is a robot brother, sent tea bags, disposable bath towels and toilet lid pads, the room is warm and comfortable, zero pressure mattress, memory pillow, screen TV, intelligent guest control, toilet! Life is so good except for ”first gradually”! [happy] I wish the first gradually to see as good as ever!

The front desk clerks are very enthusiastic, thoughtful, patient and warm-hearted. I, an old lady, am touched. The girls are so cute, and even their voices are so nice, gentle and pleasant. The room is clean and tidy, and it is very convenient to eat nearby. There is also a large supermarket. It is very comfortable to sit on the balcony and drink coffee and bask in the sun. It is close to the beach and you can walk there. It is worth staying here. It is very affordable. The overall quality of the hotel is very high. When I checked out, I forgot my hat, and the room cleaning waiter sent the hat to me in the lobby and put it in a bag, which shows that they are well trained, professional and hygienic. I will stay here again in the future

A very standard old-fashioned hotel with complete functions and stable services. Very suitable for middle-aged and elderly friends to travel and live in nostalgia.
