It's just a few minutes' walk to the lakeside, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and boat rides. Plus, they offer a free shuttle service. On the day we arrived, the driver contacted us in advance and helped with our luggage every step of the way – a real blessing for independent travelers! ## Breathtaking Views, Like Living in a Painting We booked a garden view room, and stepping out, we were greeted by the deep blue lake and distant mountains. We watched the sunrise in the morning, the sunset in the evening, and could even admire the stunning lake and mountain scenery from our bed. No filters needed for photos – it was so beautiful, we didn't want to leave! ## Attentive Service, Zaxi Gets Full Marks! The front desk staff, Zaxi, was incredibly warm and patient. He proactively introduced us to local attractions, advising us on which places were worth spending more time on and how to avoid tourist traps. Following his recommendations, we visited several lesser-known viewpoints, which were less crowded and even more stunning than what we found in guidebooks! ## Minor Drawback The room size is indeed on the smaller side. If you prioritize spaciousness, you might want to consider booking a larger room type."

"The room location is excellent, directly facing Lugu Lake. All staff have a strong sense of service. What impressed me most was our butler, Zhima. Before we even arrived, Zhima proactively contacted me via WeChat, provided directions, helped with luggage, and offered advice on tourist routes. On evenings when we were out, Zhima would message to ask if we wanted the air conditioning and electric blanket turned on in advance, which was really thoughtful as it gets very cold at night. She also reminded us about the daily afternoon tea and the complimentary tremella soup in the evenings, and that we needed to book the hotel's complimentary photoshoot. On the morning of our departure, she proactively contacted me to come up and help with our luggage, saying, 'How can a man let a lady carry luggage?' I didn't let her do it, but when we got to the first floor, Zhima immediately took our luggage and escorted us to our car. We've met many butlers during our travels, but the difference with Butler Zhima is that she proactively reached out to help us, whereas other butlers usually only assist when you contact them with a request. It truly felt like a home away from home staying at Sanse Yunhe!"

"This hotel boasts an elegant, comfortable, and impeccably clean environment. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the balcony opens up directly to a stunning lake view. The service was absolutely first-class; they even upgraded us for free to a room with an even better view and thoughtfully brought us afternoon tea. The hotel's breakfast selection was also very rich, and I especially have to praise the rice noodles – they were absolutely delicious! We initially planned to stay just one night at Lugu Lake, but we were so captivated by the hotel's ambiance, service, and rooms that we ended up staying an extra night! When we checked out, they overheard that our car was parked in a different lot, so they graciously drove us there in their own car (even though the parking lot was only a few minutes from the hotel). You can feel their genuine warmth and hospitality at all times. I've already recommended it to friends, and my daughter says she wants to stay here again next time we visit Lugu Lake. It's truly, truly, truly excellent!"

"This guesthouse is absolutely amazing!!! 🤩 First, let's talk about the room itself. It's a Loft, so there's plenty of space, and all the amenities are brand new and smart. There's even a washing machine and a fridge. The lake view room is incredibly refreshing; the moment you open the window and see the lake, everything feels worth it! 😍 The guesthouse's first floor is a restaurant (for dining and coffee), which transforms into a small bar with live music in the evening (ending at 10 PM, so it's not noisy). Every corner is picturesque, and the attention to detail is remarkable. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves taking photos. The hostess is hands down the best I've met in years – such a lovely young lady! Before our arrival, she added me on WeChat to send the address and important notes. Upon arrival, she recommended sightseeing routes and attractions, helped us arrange a pig-trough boat tour (which was fantastic!), and even took photos for us right at the guesthouse entrance! 👍 Next time I visit Lugu Lake, I'm definitely staying here again!! 🥰"

Like other higher-elevation hotels on the mountain, the prices aren't cheap, but the view is truly first-rate, making it perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet and want a place to relax. Down the mountain, there's a shared e-bike parking area right next to Puluo Pier, making boat access very convenient. The downsides are its relatively remote location and limited dining options nearby. However, the hotel offers a butler shuttle service, making it easy to visit nearby villages like Daloshui Village. Additionally, while the hotel's dining is a bit pricey, the food tastes good and is worth trying. The bedding is average; it lacks fluffiness, and there's room for improvement in comfort. Considering the price, it's unrealistic to expect the standards of a 1000-2000 yuan hotel when paying only a few hundred yuan – you can't have everything."

"✨Anxia Resort Hotel: A healing paradise by Lugu Lake, housekeeper Xiao Li makes the journey perfect! The most surprising thing about this trip to Lugu Lake is that I chose Anxia Resort Hotel! You can see the beautiful lake view when you open the window. The mist in the morning is like a fairyland, and the sunset glows all over the lake. Every frame is as healing as an oil painting. The room design is simple and warm, the bedding is comfortable, and even the bathtub faces the lake view. It feels like being between heaven and earth when taking a bath~ Special thanks to the housekeeper Xiao Li for his thoughtful service! From the route guidance before check-in to daily travel suggestions, even helping to book a car around the lake and giving hot drinks, he was responsive throughout the whole process and was as warm as a friend. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. You can walk to the lakeside in a few minutes to be in a daze, which really realizes the dream of ”lying down to see the scenery”! If you come to Lugu Lake, Anxia must be my only choice! Five stars are not enough to express my love. Next time, I will come to Xiao Li to check in the different lakes and mountains in four seasons~"

"There are so many B&Bs in Lugu Lake that it’s difficult to choose. After seeing this place in a certain book, I decided, it was really the right place. The boss added me on WeChat two days in advance and told me the details of coming from the airport and picking me up. I was upgraded to a room when I arrived at the hotel, which was very satisfying. Speaking of which, the B&B here is too busy. I was amazed by the small courtyard when I entered. There were all kinds of tents, camping chairs, campers, and a boatload of meat. It's even more amazing when you enter the room. The whole room is smart and very large, with a panoramic view of the lake outside the large glass window. The bedding is comfortable, and yes, there are also nut projections and screens. Just lying on the bed is enough. A major feature here is stargazing. The boss’s brother is an astronomy enthusiast and is very familiar with the stars. Unfortunately, the clouds were too thick this season, so it was hard to catch a sunny day (the moon was super bright)."

Even as a germaphobe, I couldn't find a single flaw with the cleanliness. The service, in particular, deserves a special mention. Both the front desk lady and the shuttle driver were warm, considerate, and professional. Upon arrival, the front desk proactively upgraded my room and thoughtfully showed me both the original and upgraded room types so I could choose for myself. The shuttle driver was also always responsive and meticulous. Regarding the environment, both the public areas and the rooms seamlessly blend with the scenery of Lugu Lake. Just sitting by the window in the room, enjoying the view, was incredibly relaxing. The restaurant offers even more breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and mountains. The hotel's ambiance perfectly mirrors Lugu Lake itself – serene, elegant, and secluded. Compared to Lijiang, Dali, or Shangri-La, Lugu Lake lacks the over-commercialized hustle and bustle, offering more pristine, natural beauty, especially during the off-season.
