Hotel near Lugu Lake Daluoshui Wharf,Ninglang
Puzhu Villa of Lugu Lake is nestled in the middle section of the lakeshore in the ancient Mosuo village of Daluoshui — the liveliest spot in the scenic area, yet just a few steps away from the lakeshore. Open the window, and the rippling blue waves come right into view. Getting around is perfectly convenient: a 3-minute walk takes you into the warmth of bonfire parties and the bustle of the food street; in 5 minutes, you can reach Daluoshui Wharf to explore the lake on a traditional pig trough boat; it’s a 10-minute walk to the passenger station or airport bus stop, and for drivers, the free parking lot is just 5 minutes away. If you’re heading to Lige Viewing Platform, it’s only a 20-minute drive. Every lake-view room is designed for enjoying the lake: huge floor-to-ceiling windows with an independent lake-view balcony offer an unobstructed 180-degree view of the lake, letting you take in both the softness and grandeur of Mount Gemu. Watch the plateau sunrise leap over the lake in the morning, and sleep under a sky full of stars at night. Thoughtful details fill the room: independent air conditioning, smart toilets, electric curtains, and a scenic bathtub, paired with high-end mattresses and linens. Disposable toilet covers, bathtub covers, and premium toiletries, along with a strict one-change-per-guest policy and full WiFi coverage, cater to every need with care. The public areas are a world of comfort: in the spacious courtyard, you can sit around sipping tea and chatting; the lake-view lobby connects to a folk music lounge, where you can order a coffee or tea, read, daydream, or admire the view as time drifts by. All your expectations for Lugu Lake will come true here: in summer, watch water lilies (Nymphoides peltata) carpet the lake; in winter, enjoy the morning mist hovering over the water and feed seagulls skimming the surface. Look up at the cloudless blue sky and white clouds of the plateau, free from any pollution, and escape the hustle and bustle of the world. Listen to the legendary stories of the Mosuo people. In this magical place, we look forward to meeting you.

"Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! This was the most satisfying hotel of our entire trip. Great location, spotless, fantastic service, and top-notch facilities! I'm so glad we chose this place. They have a water dispenser, floor-to-ceiling windows that open, separate screens to keep out bugs – everything is so thoughtful and meticulous, giving off a real sense of luxury. Lying on the recliner, gazing at Lugu Lake outside the window and listening to the lapping water, it truly felt like a perfect vacation. All the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, and the afternoon tea was delicious too. Lugu Lake itself is stunning, clean, and a vibrant blue, so relaxing. If I go to Yunnan again, I'll definitely return to Lugu Lake, and if I go back to Lugu Lake, I'll stay here again. I want to recommend it to everyone, but I also worry that the prices will skyrocket! 😂"

"Anxia Mountain & Lake Resort, Lugu Lake: A Healing Utopia Hidden in the Lake's Embrace What surprised me most about this trip to Lugu Lake wasn't the scenery, but the Anxia Mountain & Lake Resort, which I booked by chance. A 'transitional option' at just 193 yuan a night for a mist and lake view king room, it unexpectedly became the most heartwarming anchor point of my entire trip, truly helping me understand the slow pace and beauty of Lugu Lake. I arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning. As the car drove into the narrow lanes of Luoshui Shang Village, the outside noise gradually faded, leaving only the gentle lapping of the lake against the shore. The hotel's exterior exuded a minimalist, forest-like quality, devoid of overly commercialized, flashy designs. Instead, it felt like a small courtyard nestled between the lake and mountains, quiet and relaxing. During check-in, the staff's warmth instantly melted away my travel fatigue. There was no rigid, formalized service; instead, they greeted me with the familiarity of an old friend, offered local herbal tea, and even shared the best spot to watch the sunrise the next day. They thoughtfully marked out lesser-known walking trails nearby – every detail spoke of genuine care. Pushing open the room door, I was immediately stunned by the view. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling window directly faced Lugu Lake, the water like a crumpled sapphire. Gamu Goddess Mountain shimmered in and out of view amidst the mist, and the evening glow painted the lake surface a warm orange, with even the wind carrying the crisp scent of the lake. The room's decor was simple yet tasteful, with natural wood furniture paired with soft, warm lighting. There was no superfluous decoration, yet thoughtfulness was evident everywhere: the soft mattress and bedding felt like sinking into clouds, and there were even both soft and firm pillows to choose from. The dry/wet separated bathroom was clean and tidy, and the toiletries had a faint herbal scent, leaving me completely relaxed after a shower. The table thoughtfully provided bottled water and local specialty snacks, and even a humidifier was pre-arranged, perfectly addressing the issue of the high-altitude dryness. But the most healing part was the morning. I was awakened at dawn by sounds from outside the window. Drawing back the curtains, I saw the morning mist gently drifting across the lake like a veil, with distant islands appearing and disappearing within it. A pig trough boat slowly glided by, leaving a gentle ripple. I sat in the chair by the window, watching the sun slowly pierce through the clouds, painting the mist golden. My breathing slowed, and in that moment, all my anxieties were swept away by the lake breeze. atorial advantage, the hotel's location was also exceptionally convenient. Just a few steps out the door led to the lakeside path, where the gentle smoke from cooking fires curled up from distant Mosuo villages, full of everyday life. The hotel's common areas were also very comfortable, with a terrace perfect for relaxing. Sitting there, soaking up the sun and sipping tea, one could easily spend an entire afternoon. Compared to those thousand-yuan-plus 'influencer' hotels around Lugu Lake, Anxia Mountain & Lake, without excessive marketing, gave me a perfect surprise with its genuine experience. It doesn't rely on flashy gimmicks, but rather uses clean rooms, attentive service, and breathtaking lake views to allow every guest to feel the gentle embrace of Lugu Lake. After this trip, my friend and I agreed that next time we visit Lugu Lake, we must stay here again. It's like a utopia hidden in the lake's light – not noisy, not deliberate, yet it welcomes every distant traveler with the most relaxed demeanor. If you're looking for a place to find peace in Lugu Lake, Anxia Mountain & Lake will definitely not disappoint."

"Lugu Lake in the off-season is simply a dream come true! No filters needed, these are straight-from-the-camera shots, and this hotel was such a pleasant surprise! Both the public areas and the rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the lake, making you feel like you're right in a painting – so incredibly relaxing! The hotel I picked this time was super convenient, and the terrace was fantastic for photos (P8). There are also plenty of great spots for pictures just outside the hotel, and it's easily walkable to many places. When you're tired from exploring, it's so therapeutic to come back, have afternoon tea in your room, watch the sunset over the lake, and just daydream by the window. The room itself was really spacious, with a balcony, and as soon as you opened the door, you could see the lake. There was also a mini-fridge with drinks and snacks. The bedding felt very comfortable too; I slept incredibly soundly! I'm genuinely, very, very satisfied! Make sure to book a lake view! Breakfast and everything else were also excellent! I'll definitely be back!"
