I rarely write reviews, but this time I must thank Qianshanji Hotel for making my first solo trip a perfect ending. Everyone's meticulous service really made me feel at home. The first meal after checking in was the afternoon tea provided by the hotel, which was very exquisite and carefully made. The design of the hotel room and various supporting facilities are very popular with me. The location is very good, quiet, and you won't be disturbed. You can see the Goddess Gem Mountain across the lake when you open the door. During my stay, I would like to especially thank Yuanyuan and Gasi, the housekeeper, for taking a lot of photos for me, as well as the movies in the evening, cooking mulled wine, and grilled milk fans...all left precious marks on my journey; the restaurant staff were also very attentive. After I asked for a fork for the first time, they prepared forks for me for subsequent meals. They were very attentive and their service attitude was super good. If there is a next time, I will stay at Qianshanji again❤️

The place was extremely beautiful, perfect view overlooking the lake and mountain, and the room was beautifully designed. Location is near many good food options too.
The hotel manager was also super friendly and courteous, helped us with many aspects and made our stay super warm and welcoming.

As part of our 9-day self-drive trip in Yunnan, me and my wife visited the Lake Lu Gu last week and stayed two nights at the Torre De Marfil Hotel. All hardwares and softwares of the hotel were up to our entire satisfaction. Every little detail of the hotel facilities, whether in the rooms or in the public areas, has been carefully designed and properly maintained. The full and unblocked lakeview, which can be seen directly through the hotel room window, was magnificent and unforgettable. As we were told, most of the hotel personnel are native Mosuo people. We were deeply impressed by the enthusiasm shown by all of them, especially Xiao Zhang at the Reception Desk, in their works. Without any exception, they responded proactively and efficiently to all our requests. They voluntarily helped us bring our heavy luggages to and from the carpark while explaining to us the unusual marriage traditions followed by the Mosuo Tribe. Breakfasts were provided in individual sets instead of buffets. We were particularly impressed by their presentations, tastes and varieties, which were so much better than what we had in those bigger hotels we had stayed in Dali and Lijiang. Free dessert soups were served and brought to the rooms every evening, which to us were a big surprise! We 100% enjoyed our stay in Torre De Marfil and would definitely recommend it to anyone who happens to be visiting Lu Gu.

Views from the room was excellent, room was equipped with AI function. Provides a humidifier for the room as well which is great. Location of the hotel was atop a very steep hill which made climbing up and down a little inconvenient- they do offer a driver service but it is not available all the time- limited to certain hours and when there is another guest using the car then will need to wait. Service was not consistent- some staff were not very friendly but some staff provided amazing service: Staff 小周非常友善热情，旁晚临时问他想去湖边走走 他就马上安排了亲自载我去 让我在泸沽湖的最后一个傍晚能够在夕阳下体验湖边漫步，过后还及时来接我回去， 让我感觉非常感谢。 4月6号值晚班的柜台小姐也特别热情友善，很喜欢她 可是不知道她的名字。

We totally liked it. The view out of the window is marvelous. The host, this includes everyone there, is super nice and friendly. They really make you feel being welcome. We prolonged our stay after the first few hours because we enjoyed staying there so much. The kids loved the chocolate cake and liked playing with the cats.
They also have a private parking lot.
We totally recommend staying here.

We originally booked another hotel, but in order to see the lake view, the driver recommended this hotel and said it was very cost-effective. During the three days and two nights, I felt the hotel's service all the time, including the basic pick-up and drop-off station, the attentive preparation of afternoon tea and breakfast, the high-quality room service, and the perfect lake view. I think this price is perfect and there is nothing to complain about, especially Xiao Yang's service is very good. By the way, the bonfire party and Mosuo Museum are opposite the hotel. The chicken offal noodles and black goat coarse noodles in Chongqing Xiaomian, which is on the left turn from the hotel, are also very delicious.

After arriving at the property, I realised it was worth having a lake view room, so I upgraded to the Double Bed with Lake View and bathtub. The room is huge and the view of the lake from the windows is spectacular. It was amazing to just sit by the window and enjoy the view and the breeze. In the morning I watched the sunrise through the window.
The hotel has excellent service. The two young men at reception were very kind, helpful and gentlemanly. They insisted on carrying my small bag up to the third floor and happily resolved all my queries.
The cleanliness was not bad, but there were a few strands of hair around the room. Otherwise it was clean. There were lots of amenities, the bed was extremely comfortable and the rain shower was perfect.
Downstairs, you could step directly onto the lake, and the property has two very cute cats.
The Lake View Double Room came with an in room afterboon tea (very much needed after the long journey to reach Lugu Lake) and a healthy Chinese style breafast.
All up, an extremely comfortable stay and one of the highlights of my trip to China.

Though we arrived after dark, we woke up to a breathtaking balcony view that left us in awe. The delicious breakfast and insightful tour of the traditionally preserved Mosuo culture, including the “Grandmother” room, were highlights. Having visited villages in the area, I can confidently say the preservation here feels authentic and respectful. As a tour operator for foreign travelers, I especially appreciated the locally-owned aspect and the warm hospitality. Our family was well cared for, and this is exactly the type of accommodation I look for in my work. Highly recommended!

The young staff have limited English but more than make up for it with their level of service and the translator app. They even set up a groups chat in WeChat just to advise us and ensure we were in touch.
Location is great (except for the fact that there’s the road below the hotel)
Hotel itself is brilliant. Phenomenal rooms. Great meals. Very personal touch and an ever willing / cheerful / helpful group of very competent youngsters managing. The whole crew looked under 30 but did a great job.
Was an absolute pity we only stayed 2 nights. Next time a week at least! Definitely coming back.

GGuest UserI can only say that I am very satisfied this time. I have stayed in many hotels and I am almost too lazy to comment on them. This time, Qiushan really surprised me. The room has a first-line lake view. The hygiene of the general hotel is snow and the preparation of children's products is the least worth mentioning advantage. Their service started from my booking, not check-in. They guided me all the way and helped us carry our luggage up the stairs from the parking lot. Afternoon tea was even more of a surprise. It was all attentive, not perfunctory. Since our family started to suffer from altitude sickness when we arrived here, the hotel also prepared portable oxygen for us. The child couldn't eat due to altitude sickness, so it was very late and the hotel also prepared millet porridge and noodle soup for us. In short, everything was very considerate. I really thank the boss and all the employees for making us feel the love and care!

GGuest UserOriginally we wanted to stay in Dashuoshui. After arriving at Lugu Lake, we went to Dashui for a walk. It was too noisy for us. Sanjia Village is a good choice, with convenient transportation and quietness amidst the bustle. We visited the B&B first and then made a reservation. The rooms were no different from the ones advertised in the pictures. The facilities were complete and clean. The projectors and smart toilets all worked well. The boss was very nice. He chatted with us, recommended places to play, and protected us from lightning. They also turned on the air conditioner for us in advance, which was very considerate. You can see the lake when you open the curtains in the room. The view from the B&B is very good. The breakfast is very rich, much better than what we spent 15 yuan to eat outside. Not only is the view of the lake great, there is also a wetland park outside which is great for walking. There is also a kitten in the store who is very friendly and cute.

GGuest UserThe room has an interesting layout. The night was very cold and the heater in the room was easy to operate and worked extremely well. The hotel is walking distance to the nearby courtyard where they have the bonfire cultural performance at night. The toilet and shower area is kinda small, but I guess it is still deemed okay for a one night stopover. Lots of construction going on in the Lugu town, but the workers knocked off at 6pm and only began at 9am, so it did not affect me. Quite a few guests staying in the hotel despite the abundance of choices in the area and the low peak season.

Service: The hotel staff are very hospitable. When there is travel needs, they will also help contact. The meals will also be provided according to our tastes. The breakfast every day is super satisfying.

RRosie JennerThis is a fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. Trip were able to send me the Wechat contact for the hotel so they helped me to arrive, although from the bus stop I could have booked transport through AMAP/didi too.
The service was excellent and when there was a problem with the room I had booked the staff were super helpful and moved me quickly to an upgraded room. The breakfast is nice and there is a coffee machine.
This was the best hotel from my whole trip in Yunnan. The finishing touches and service were far beyond my expectations especially considering the remote location.
The village of Lige is small and there is not much to 'do' unless you have your own transport. Which makes this a great hotel to stop at on your trip for some luxury relaxation.
