Despite being in the dry desert, the food quality was consistently high, with timely replenishment of ingredients and stable flavors. "Very clean and comfortable hotel. Warm welcome and excellent service from the staff. My car even got windscreen wash out inside before I left the next day! Delicious afternoon tea snacks and a very good breakfast selection. My bed was big and comfortable. The shower had reusable products which smelt amazing! The seating in the room was very stylish and comfortable. There was a convenience store next door too. Would recommend if you are in the area!"

I loved the smart thermostat-controlled toilet; it was very comfortable to use. The breakfast menu changed daily, which was a nice touch. Everything was clean, and the service was attentive. Overall, my experience was perfect, making it an excellent choice for accommodation during your travels!"

"What a fantastic stay! To find a place like this in the desert – so clean, convenient, and with genuinely friendly and generous staff – it's truly a hidden gem! The hotel front desk sells attraction tickets at a great price, which really enhances the experience. After the scenic area closes, it's essentially like having the whole place to yourself; you can go wherever you want and have the entire desert all to yourself. In the evenings, they even organize trips deeper into the desert to stargaze and take photos! It's also pet-friendly, and my dog absolutely loved playing in the sand! When the water heater broke in the middle of the night, a staff member came right up, fixed it in no time, and even replaced the showerhead with a new one. Their efficiency and service attitude definitely deserve a five-star rating! Highly recommend!"

"While driving through Xiangshawan, I stumbled upon this RV campsite. The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the visitor center, making parking and access to the scenic area incredibly convenient without having to drive deep into the desert. The sunset at dusk bathed the entire desert in a caramel hue, making every photo a masterpiece. The RV interior exceeded my expectations, far from the typical rudimentary camping setup: separate wet and dry bathrooms, 24-hour reliable hot water, powerful air conditioning, and a soft, comfortable bed. Hygiene was impeccable; bedding was changed after each guest, the RV was free of sand and odors, and the bathroom was spotless and dry. The most stunning part was at night! Away from city light pollution, turning off the RV lights revealed a breathtaking Milky Way sky, the stars so dense they seemed within reach. Sitting under the vast sky, feeling the desert breeze, and listening to the distant camel bells, it was peaceful and soothing, truly living up to its name, ”Starry Night Journey.” The owner and staff were incredibly attentive, providing clear check-in instructions and promptly delivering drinking water and mosquito repellent. The campsite's common areas had clean washrooms and sand-washing pools, perfect for rinsing off sand after a day of desert adventures – a huge plus! Compared to the Lotus Hotel and desert tents within the scenic area, this RV campervan is affordable, offering both comfort and a wild adventure, making it ideal for families on road trips, groups of friends, and couples. One small reminder: the desert has a large temperature difference between day and night, so remember to bring a jacket at night and pack mosquito repellent. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Xiangshawan. For those wanting to experience the desert starry sky while also seeking convenient and comfortable accommodations, I highly recommend Xingchen Jiexing!"

"We checked in during the morning and the place was really lovely, super clean. For the same price point, this guesthouse's decor is truly excellent! Folks, this should be your top choice. Plus, there's a picking area in the yard with organic fruits, and we weighed some to eat on the road. There's a small restaurant across the street with food. We didn't get a chance to have breakfast, but the owner said it's a buffet. Their stir-fries are really good, made with their own vegetables – highly recommended!"
