Overall, the Shansha Hotel offers a very good experience. The room design is full of sci-fi fantasy, making it particularly suitable for families with children. The staff in the hotel's kids' area are patient and attentive, actively guiding children in their play, which significantly enhances the family-friendly experience. The hotel is a bit on the smaller side with somewhat limited space, but the layout is compact and efficient, making it very convenient to access all functional areas. This actually works out as an advantage when traveling with kids, as you don't have to walk long distances. However, there are three minor drawbacks: 1. The dining quality significantly lags behind that of the Lotus Hotel. I suggest the hotel upgrade its meal standards. Adjusting room rates or dining prices accordingly would be feasible. For guests, the core appeal is the vacation experience, and improved dining would greatly boost overall reputation. 2. While the pool looks impressive, the water temperature is too low. Even with an outdoor temperature of 38℃ on that day, the pool water was still freezing cold, making it impossible to swim. This was a significant disappointment compared to expectations. 3. During my stay, there was a minor issue with room cleaning. Thankfully, the hotel, in coordination with Trip.com, resolved it efficiently and properly. Both the resolution process and the final outcome were very satisfactory. Compared to similar hotels in the Desert region, the Shansha Hotel is generally recommendable. Its unique, futuristic architecture resembles an interstellar island in the desert, making it a top choice for families with children.

A fantastic stay from start to finish! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. What really made the experience special was the host’s kindness and generosity. The young man went out of his way to drive me to different locations, making it much easier to explore the area. He also cooked delicious food, which was a real highlight of my stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and he was always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. His hospitality made me feel right at home, and I truly appreciated all the effort he put into making my visit enjoyable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel's front desk service was excellent, and the environment was also very nice. The lobby design was simple and elegant, the room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a wide view, with a stunning night view! The corridors and public areas were clean and tidy. The front desk lady checked us in very quickly!

My expectation was meh before arriving this accommodation. However, the guys at the reception are very helpful and they also arranged a minibus to pick us up from the tourist centre. As for the conditions of our room, it is unexpectedly clean and tidy and as the sign was pointed out, it is very normal to have dust and sand appear in the room since we are at the desert. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience!

Self-driving to Xiangshawan accidentally dug this RV camp, the location is really amazing, just next to the tourist center of the scenic spot, no need to drive into the depths of the desert, parking, entering the scenic spot are super convenient In the evening, the sunset dyed the whole desert caramel color, and it was a blockbuster. The interior of the RV exceeded expectations, and it was not a simple camping wind: independent dry and wet bathroom, 24-hour stable hot water, heating and cooling air conditioning, soft bed. The sanitation is in place, the bedding is changed for each guest, there is no dust smell in the car, and the bathroom is clean and there is no water. The most amazing thing is the night! Away from the city light pollution, turn off the RV light and look up to the sky is the Milky Way, the stars are so dense that they can reach their hands, sit under the sky curtain and blow the desert evening wind, listen to the humpbell in the distance, quiet and healing, really fit the name of ”stars licking”. The boss and staff are particularly attentive, the check-in guidelines are clear, drinking water and mosquito repellent supplies are required to be delivered in time, the public area of the camp has a clean washing area, a sand pool, and the sand can be washed away from the desert after playing. This detail is too much. Compared with the lotus hotel and desert tent in the scenic area, this RV is affordable, taking into account comfort and wild fun, self-driving families, girlfriends travel, couples are very suitable. The only small reminder: the temperature difference between day and night in the desert is large, remember to add a coat at night and prepare mosquito repellent. Next time I come to Xiangshawan, I will choose here. I want to experience the desert starry sky and pursue the convenience and comfort of accommodation. I highly recommend Stars Minhang!
