"I am writing to formally express my very serious dissatisfaction regarding the condition of my room and the overall standard of service during my stay. To be completely honest, the situation is far below what any reasonable guest would expect from a hotel of this category and price level. There is clearly long-term dust accumulation on the exhaust fan and in multiple corners of the room. This is not a matter of minor housekeeping oversight for a day or two it reflects a prolonged lack of proper maintenance and cleaning standards. Such conditions are unacceptable for a property that presents itself as a luxury establishment. Even more concerning is the foul, rotten odor coming from the sink water. Every time I brush my teeth or wash my hands, the unpleasant smell is immediately noticeable and deeply disturbing. This raises not only comfort issues, but also serious concerns about hygiene and water safety. At this level of accommodation, guests should never have to question the basic quality of the water provided in their room. I strongly believe this matter requires immediate professional inspection. I chose to stay at your hotel and willingly paid a premium rate because I expected a premium experience including cleanliness, attention to detail, and reliable service. Unfortunately, what I have encountered so far reflects a significant gap between the price charged and the quality delivered. In addition, despite leaving a tip for housekeeping and placing a written note clearly requesting replenishment, my shampoo was not refilled. I was eventually forced to go into the corridor to find another staff member for assistance. Cotton swabs were also not replenished for three consecutive days. These are very basic service expectations that should not require repeated reminders from guests. Taken together, these issues have had a substantial negative impact on my stay and overall impression of the hotel. I find this situation extremely disappointing and frankly inconsistent with the reputation and standards your brand claims to uphold. I would appreciate it if management could review this matter seriously and provide a clear and appropriate resolution."

"It is not suitable for a family with kids. There is no bathtub. It is not really clean in bathroom. The indoor swimming pool is small."

"Place is located at the Main Street. Staffs are so friendly and fast in their service. Room is clean and the amenities are pretty complete (especially as family of four, the mini fridge, plates, spoons, knife, cups, microwave, are very helpful). The only unpleasant thing is we can hear our neighbors talking and they are pretty loud, but not during the night."

Cleanliness stood out, with spotless rooms, fresh linens, and well-maintained facilities throughout this heritage property renovated in 2019. The location is unbeatable, steps from Government Street, Fan Tan Alley, and the Inner Harbour, perfect for exploring Victoria's attractions on foot. Service was top-notch: friendly, accommodating staff handled everything efficiently, from check-in to daily check-ins, echoing countless glowing guest reviews. Amenities like free WiFi, fitness center, air conditioning, and 24-hour front desk added to the comfort. I can't recommend this hotel enough—it's a gem for any Victoria visit!"

"The cleanness of the room was excellent. The room had a musty smell had to go out and purchase an air freshener to help absorb the smell. I asked if they had bbq was told yes. So we went out bought a steak only to find out it is a charcoal bbq and you had to supply your own. So it was a big disappointment and put a damper on our stay. The hotel is not close to city so heading out again was not an option. If you want cleanliness it was 100%"

"Victoria is not big. This hotel is located in the heart of downtown, and you can basically walk everywhere. Within 10 minutes of leaving the hotel, you can see all the scenery near the Inner Harbour. There are countless high-quality restaurants. Apart from the price being a little high during peak season, there is almost no disadvantage."

"Great hotel great location ,stopped here many times ,parking is now better but still costs you $20 day but it is downtown ,heating in room very poor ,had to ask for additional heater .this room also had large windows with a view to the ocean which was great ,but heat loss from windows with a small portable radiator was not sufficient ,but luckily this room had an open fireplace ,so I sublimated the heat by making a nice fire ,may be a good idea for the hotel to offer to sell the logs rather than me going out to a hardware store to buy them"

"The room was spacious, the air conditioning was strong, and the hot water was plentiful with good pressure. I was very satisfied with everything, especially the front desk staff, who deserve a special mention. My only minor complaint is that check-in starts a bit late at 4 PM."
