"The most satisfying accommodation in Zhangjiajie. The room has a big bed and you can see Tianmen Mountain when you open the window. The children like it very much. The location is also very good. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Tianmen Mountain. It is also very convenient to go to the Forest Park. The bus station is next door. , the service industry is very enthusiastic and answers all questions. I recommend it to everyone."

The boss is very enthusiastic, because I need three days and two checks to enter the scenic spot. AAnonymous UserThe farm stay is located 5 minutes away from Zhangjiajie National Park West Gate by foot, making it very convenient to access the park early in the morning. There are several local run convenience stores around, where you can get necessities, snacks, and basic hiking supplies. If you plan on visiting the national park, we definitely recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed.
The environment was amazing! It was very peaceful and the air was incredibly fresh. Our room came with an air conditioner, but we did not need to use it because of how great the weather was. For foreigners, who may be concerned of the toilet situation, several of the rooms come with sitting toilets. The room also comes with hot showers!The only thing we would recommend is bringing your own towels, as the ones given are single use.
You can get breakfast and dinner at the farm stay! Prices are very fair and the food was delicious. We always had more to eat than we could finish. They also use very fresh ingredients that are locally grown.
The owner was incredibly helpful. He prepared English maps of the national park for us, and gave us great advice on how to plan each day. He also helped call us a shared ride to Tianmen mountain. He is always available to help! We had issues returning after the park closed, and he went to pick us up!
Overall, we got more than we paid for.

LLow Lin-HuiThis hotel was the perfect base for a relaxed Zhangjiajie trip, thanks to Eason and Lucas, who genuinely made our stay special. They picked us up from the train, helped us book tickets, plan out our days to dodge the crowds, and recommended quieter spots that offered stunning, uncrowded views. They even went above and beyond to help us with logistics after we left. Their knowledge of the area made our experience feel wonderfully off the beaten path, which can be challenging in Zhangjiajie!
The location is ideal—just five minutes from the Yangjiajie Gate and away from the main tourist flow. Eason even offered us rides to the entrance every morning, which made getting around simple and stress-free. While we mostly spoke in Chinese, they’re comfortable in English too.
The hotel itself is clean and peaceful, with mountain views right from the windows. Meals were a highlight especially after a long day out, with a delicious breakfast each morning and home-cooked dinners. Eason even picked a winter melon fresh from the garden for our soup one evening. This place felt like a real home away from home and made Zhangjiajie feel beautifully calm. Can’t recommend it enough! Thank you so much Eason and Lucas!

The best part is that the owner can manage the tickets of the attractions at a lower cost than the original price and it is valid. Nnita77The No. 5 Valley Hotel should be a destination in its own right for everyone visiting Zhangjiajie! Not only are the views spectacular, the hotel itself is so beautiful. The rooms are both rustic and modern and the staff are kind, welcoming, and helpful. They offer a pick-up service from both the airport and train station, and dropped us off and picked us up at our convenience to and from the park, although it was difficult to leave the hotel and we had spend at least one day lazing about and enjoying the pools, my favourite being the heated infinity pool overlooking the valley - a great soak after a day of walking in the park! Most of the staff spoke English, and Rain advised us on the best routes to take to get the most of our visit. Mei, who grew up right next door, offered us a variety of her hand-picked tea, introducing us to the local medicinal 'berry tea' (莓茶). It was a magical stay and we will be back as soon as we can! (Oh and the bed was possibly the most heavenly we have slept on!)

GGuest UserThis hotel is not high-end but it does the job. I was upgraded for free and here are the pros and cons:
Cons: •there were a few insects in the room even though the windows were closed. At least most of them were small, silent flies and not mosquitoes. I usually don’t like insects but I didn’t mind, I think at this point and price it’s unavoidable.
•The shower was in the same room as the toilet, but at least it was a squatting toilet, so I didn’t have to dry it or sit on something wet.
•One thing I’d change is to add a soap bar in the bathroom. When taking my shower, my soap was besides the window and I was always afraid to accidentally drop it in the toilet.
•There were no fridge nor microwave in the hotel but the bosses still put my meals in their fridge at home and also heated them, which shows dedication.
Pros: •very convenient location, around 20 mins of walk from Tianmen mountain or a 5 yuan Didi. 72 Qilou is also not too far.
•Free unlimited water supply.
•The boss helped me plan my itinerary to Tianmen mountain and he patiently answered all of my questions, even when it was around 10 pm.
•The washing machine and the laundry soap are free to use. Moreover, the clothes are dried on the rooftop, so with this heat they dry very quickly.
⛰️Overall I recommend this hotel, the staff is really nice and the ratio price/quality is also good!🚠

CChew LiangThis inn is run by a lovely family and we were hosted by the daughter throughout our stay. The room looks exactly like the listing photos, room size wise it is enough for 2 medium size luggage lay open and 2 people walk around. 1 minus point is the bed.. mattress too hard and pillow too soft (requested for extra pillows). We also got the host to assist us with booking attraction tickets for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. She also patiently introduced and shared with us the routes to explore around the nature park. Although breakfast isn't provided, but the host recommended a eatery just next door that serves local noodles and wanton soup (it's really good). Location is really convenient with eateries and luckin coffee around the area, and cable car to tian men shan just across the road. Totally recommend staying here!

HheyylenThe guest house is in a convenient location near the South Gate of Zhangjiajie, which is not the busiest gate (East Gate is). We liked this because it meant we didn't have to queue for the free shuttle buses when we showed up in the morning. The lady will drop you off and pick you up from South Gate for free, which is very convenient.
The South gate is very close to Huangshi Village, and it's also convenient to take a Didi to Middle Gate for the Golden Whip Stream walk. The owner is super helpful when planning out routes for where to travel.
We took a Didi to Middle Gate then a shuttle bus to the east side of the Golden whip stream and then walked the scenic hike to Huangshi village. Sadly we ran out of time to go up the cable car. For the second day we started at South Gate and took the shuttle bus to Yangjiajie. Note it is actually 2 shuttle buses separated by a 15 minute non-stop staircase climb. This route is not recommended if you have young children or elderly people in your party. We then went to Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain and exited via East Gate and Didi'd back to the hotel.
In terms of the hotel it is clean and comfortable. Only issue is there are a bunch of roosters, and a very very cute Alaskan Malamute that like to have a choir together in the middle of the night. I would be annoyed, but the Malamute is so cute I can't even remove any stars from this review.

GGuest UserThe room is quite spacious, with a clothes drying rack, a bathtub, a projector, and even a special dressing table, as well as a small balcony where you can go out to smoke. There is also a washing machine on the fifth floor. It is located next to the river, and across the street is a snack street. It is very convenient to eat.
