"I rarely give bad reviews to family-friendly hotels, but Mermaid is one of the few in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area that deserves a negative review. On the first day, we arrived at 2:00 PM, but couldn't check in, which is normal; check-in was supposed to be after 3:00 PM. The front desk told us they'd give us two tickets to see the circus first, but we knew nothing about it. The circus tickets were supposed to be included in the package, not free. This gave a bad first impression; the front desk staff seemed untrained. When it came time to check in, even though I booked two rooms for two families, they insisted on giving us rooms far apart. I don't know how they arranged it? They even said they were already occupied. I'm speechless. We registered together as a group of two families, but I don't even want to talk about it anymore. On the second and third days, breakfast was served at 9:30 AM without any extra food, not even a salted duck egg. This happened for two consecutive days. On the second day, I specifically asked if they wanted more, but no one paid any attention. The restaurant was chaotic. I stood there for ten minutes with my coffee, unable to find a seat; all the tables were empty and waiting to be cleaned. On the last day, the kids were slow getting ready, and we arrived at the restaurant at 10 am. The staff at the door said breakfast was over and we couldn't eat there anymore... These staff members all seemed to be young, probably holiday workers hired by the school. Their manner of speaking really needs serious training. Oh, and about ordering takeout, I called the front desk and told them the delivery rider said he'd given the order to them and the robot would deliver it. The front desk replied, ”We don't handle takeout; the rider operates the robot himself.” So I asked the rider what happened, and he said, ”The elevator couldn't be used, so I handed it to the front desk, and they said the robot would deliver it.” This experience, this feeling—you have to experience it for yourself. No exaggeration, just my honest impression. I hope you can improve."

Staff members are friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist, creating a smooth and pleasant experience from check-in to check-out. The hotel’s location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and major attractions. Breakfast is satisfying with a good variety of options. Overall, Jiaye provides excellent value and a relaxing environment, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travellers."

"The setting here is lovely, like a big park, and our room was quite good too. The beach, unfortunately, was rather dirty and unusable. The swimming pool, though, was excellent – large and with crystal-clear water. However, breakfast was a letdown. Arriving at 8:30 AM, many items were already running low or trays were empty, and essentials like yogurt were not available and not replenished. As our flight was at 4:00 PM, we inquired with the front desk about a 1:00 PM checkout (just an hour later than the standard 12:00 PM). We had specifically chosen this hotel for its proximity and convenience to the airport. Despite this, the front desk refused, citing various reasons. It was quite frustrating."

"This hotel deserves full marks in every aspect. The butler contacted me in advance and arranged everything I needed, which was incredibly reassuring. I didn't have to worry about a single thing regarding my stay. The staff were all very welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with any request. Their professionalism was outstanding, and they were all quite good-looking too! The hotel's location is excellent, with a great surrounding environment, including Impressions City, museums, and science and technology museums nearby. You can hail a taxi directly to the lobby, making it very convenient to get to all the attractions. During the May Day holiday, the hotel even had activities that kids loved, like blind box unboxing, fan making, and making traditional Chinese medicine sachets – we were very satisfied. The breakfast offered a wide variety of Wenzhou's local snacks, allowing us to try all the popular local delicacies in one go, and the taste was fantastic. The dishes at the Seasons Pavilion Chinese Restaurant were also excellent; I personally think they're better than most restaurants found in integrated shopping complexes. The price was also very reasonable. Highly recommended!"

"The B&B has a very good surrounding environment, fresh and quiet, and is a place suitable for finding a good mood to nourish the mind, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, away from the noisy crowd, only nature is with you. The B&B is practical, comfortable and complete. Although it is not exquisite, it can be said that it has all the basic needs and is cost-effective. I hope I have the opportunity to come again."

The famous 'Ancient and Modern in the Same Frame' photo spot is directly opposite the hotel, allowing you to capture atmospheric shots of the city's unique blend of old and new without having to travel far. I stayed in a room on the 52nd floor, offering an immersive experience of stunning cloud-level views. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided expansive and clear vistas. By day, I could overlook Wenzhou's city streets and the scenery along the Nan Tang River. As dusk fell, and the city lights came on, the dazzling nightscape of Nan Tang, along with the myriad of lights across Wenzhou, stretched out before my eyes. The gentle evening breeze enhanced the ambiance, allowing me to sit by the window and enjoy the city's unique romance and tranquility. What truly made the stay special was the warm and thoughtful service. Throughout my visit, I experienced the staff's professionalism and genuine sincerity. The front desk and Executive Lounge staff were friendly, efficient, and adept at understanding and promptly addressing guests' needs, whether it was for check-in inquiries or last-minute requests. The concierge team on the ground floor was equally considerate and thorough. When I checked out and went to collect my luggage, a staff member proactively assisted me, carrying my bags all the way to the underground parking garage. Such meticulous service truly reflects the hotel's high standards and added an extra layer of comfort and convenience to my trip. The dining experience was equally impressive. The breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, catering to both northern and southern palates, and featuring a strong presence of authentic Wenzhou local specialties. Dishes like the soft and fragrant glutinous rice and the rich, mellow lard cake were all available, allowing me to savor authentic Wenzhou flavors and kickstart my day with energy. The Executive Lounge's happy hour was full of pleasant surprises, offering a variety of exquisite hot dishes, flavorful snacks, and a wide array of alcoholic and special drinks. The selection was abundant, the quality excellent, and the taste truly remarkable. Enjoying such a delightful time amidst the high-altitude views brought immense joy. Overall, the Westin Wenzhou, with its excellent location, stunning high-altitude views, attentive and meticulous service, and authentic, delicious dining, delivered a truly high-quality stay. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wenzhou! "

"The reservation was for New Year's Eve...the car can drive into the controlled area... Everything is pretty good...it’s just that the kid had a fever and didn’t have a chance to play. I can only come back next time when I have a chance."

This hotel wasn't originally in our travel plans; I stumbled upon it on Trip.com and was instantly captivated, deciding to book a night as a little surprise for my wife and kids. We were very satisfied with the service, environment, facilities, room, meals, and coffee. If I had to pick one minor flaw, it would be the small handle on the inside of the bathroom door. After showering, my child couldn't open it due to it being slippery and called out, ”Mommy, help me push it open!” 😂"

"The location of the hotel is slightly biased than expected. The hotel building was originally an apartment building. The lobby and corridor are like apartment hotels. The overall room hygiene is very clean, there is no problem, if the weather is good, it will give a lot of points to the room experience, and there is a supporting swimming pool underneath, which must be praised. Finally, the front desk service is good, the demand response is timely enough, and the attitude of the staff is very good."
