"The hotel refused to turn on their central AC unit in late April so the room AC is on fan mode only. Our room was 26c showing the manager did send up a tech guy and tested the room temp was 26 as showing on the display and the air wa very stuffy. They said it’s cold at night so building is not turning on the AC but the windows does not open !!!The manager did offer free breakfast and delivered a fan to my room. lucky we were only there for 2 nights in the stuffy room but I will not be staying again."

Most homestays I've visited have a meal standard of 100-120 RMB per person; for our large group, this perk literally saved us the cost of an entire room.
