Huangshan Banshan Yinxuan Homestay Reviews

We had a wonderful time at this homestay! Spend two nights and went hiking 2 days. The rooms are spacious and the atmosphere is very relaxing with little chickens in the backyard. The family is very kind and helpful and the food is amazing (you have to try the bamboo shoots!). They even drove us to the entrance of huangshan mountain and gave us hiking poles for free. 100% recommended! Thank you for the nice time!

They walked us to the correct ticket station for the mountain. And they organised cheap transport for us when we left. The rooms were also lovely and the location was great. We absolutely recommend this accommodation!! ❤️

While residing at the homestay, we were served by a lovely lady and his son where were friendly and hospitable and overall honmely vibes. We also ate at their family-owned eatery and the food was delicious.

The location of the inn is perfect - has many supermarkets nearby and is very close to a bus pick-up point (the buses take you straight to the foot of the mountain). The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful too - arranged for a shared taxi to take us from/to the railway station. I highly recommend the place!

It is very difficult to book a homestay online on the fifth day of the Chinese New Year. This shop has charging stations, and the boss, Xiao Cheng, is very nice, but there is room for improvement. Go up twenty steps and you'll be on a hill.

Not recommended, the environment and facilities are OK, but there is no service throughout the whole process. My friend and I went there on a weekday, so there weren't many people visiting, and the room rate was very cheap. After getting off the station, I called the store and the older brother and sister who answered the phone were very nice (they should be a couple). They told me to take a taxi and get off at Tangkou Bridge. The taxi fare was about 12 yuan, which was very short, but it was very far to walk there. When we arrived at Tangkou Bridge, the store owner asked my mother-in-law to come out and pick me up. The store was halfway up the mountain, and it was very inconvenient to walk up two long steps. After my aunt settled me down, she hurried downstairs, saying she was going to cook. A foreigner really didn't know how to go to Huangshan the next day. The air conditioner had a small problem and didn't work well, and the heating effect was not good. The aunt left me aside. After I put my luggage in the room, I didn't know where to go and sat in the yard for a long time. Normally, after settling in, I would ask the store for specific check-in instructions, but my mother-in-law ran out to cook for someone. It wasn't until the evening that I couldn't hold on any longer, so I called and my mother-in-law asked me to go downstairs to find him. It turned out that their family had opened a restaurant diagonally across the street. In this case, the previous good reviews were a bit misleading. My mother-in-law said that their restaurant had moved downstairs, which means that the good reviews that others had given before were when they were still serving food on the mountain. My mother-in-law kept trying to sell me things. She told me to have breakfast at her store the next day and then arranged for me to take a bus. A bowl of noodles cost about 15 yuan, which was three yuan more than the inner street under the bridge. But we wanted to travel light when hiking, so we brought Snickers bars and didn’t feel like eating anything the next day. I asked him for the specific check-in instructions, but he seemed very impatient and asked me to look at the electronic map of the restaurant. He gave me a brief explanation and that was it. There is a big contrast between my mother-in-law's attitude and that of my brothers and sisters. It is recommended that the store add WeChat to the hotel’s guests so that if there are any questions, we can provide timely feedback. When I went to Putuo before, other B&Bs did the same thing and would make itinerary arrangements based on my time. After all, the store only has 8 rooms, so it should be possible to accommodate you. The overall feeling is that it's a bit of a pitfall. If you want to eat store-made food, you have to run downstairs across the street. After checking in, I was left alone, not knowing where I was. If I go somewhere else in the future, I'd still spend a little more money to stay in a chain hotel for more assurance. I hope the store will improve.

The room is clean, large, and well-equipped, consistent with the photos taken online. The environment is also OK, and it is not far from the entrance of the scenic area. The service is friendly, and when you dine at the hotel they open, you get a free dish, and the prices of the dishes are clearly marked. A tea egg was also provided for breakfast.

Very welcoming. They upgraded my room type for free. There is also an electric blanket that is very warm. It is very close to Namdaemun.
