Our weekend stay here was incredible! The staff were so pleasant and constantly made us feel welcome with fresh fruit and friendly greetings. We really enjoyed the free shuttles to the park entrance, delicious food at the hotel, and of course the free room upgrade (谢谢！）. The hotel also has an excursion to a nearby family tea plantation, meaning you can see the most beautiful views of the surrounding mountains ALL TO YOURSELF. The view from the tea plantation was better than any sight we saw in Huangshan Park, and one of the most beautiful views I have seen in my life. We will be back!

We had a relaxing stay here at 山语! The accommodation was a 10-minute drive to the entrance of Huangshan. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food, while not the cheapest, was so delicious that we ended up having two dinners here during our three-night stay. The accommodation is aesthetically on point, with modern and stylish decor. Since we visited in November, we did note that there was only heating available, but this was not a major issue for us since it a little chilly outside. Overall, it was a cosy escape for us and we will be back if we visit Huangshan again! Bonus: They have an adorable kitten that we absolutely adored!!

I visited Huangshan with my second-grader, and after looking at a few hotels, I was completely drawn in by the stunning looks of this guesthouse. The service was exceptional. On Friday evening, as soon as we got off the car, two lovely ladies came to greet us. I had pre-ordered dinner on the way, so we could enjoy fresh, hot food right after settling in. The dishes were made with natural ingredients, and their homemade rice wine was incredibly delicious. We stayed for two nights and had all our breakfasts and dinners at the guesthouse – so yummy! Due to a small mishap, the owner even upgraded our room to a loft, which made my child excitedly exclaim it was a 'princess room'! Overall, the experience was fantastic. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

This is our go-to guesthouse every time we visit Huangshan, it's just wonderful! Everything about it is excellent, and the food is absolutely delicious 😋. The owner and the ladies working there provide incredibly attentive service ❤️. The environment is very elegant, clean, and reliable. Plus, they offer a free shuttle service to Huangshan South Gate Tourist Center, which is super convenient. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning to hike Huangshan ⛰️. So happy with our stay!

They thoughtfully prepared some fruit for us and arranged two adjacent rooms for my friend and me. Breakfast was originally scheduled for 7:30 AM, but because we had to go up the mountain at 7 AM, the auntie prepared it for us an hour early. In the afternoon, we enjoyed participating in the hotel's craft activities, and the guesthouse's homemade 'shaobing' (baked flatbread) was also delicious. The pick-up and drop-off service was efficient. I'll definitely be back next time.

My favourite stay out of all of the accomodations I've stayed in China thus far. Serene yet convenient location close to everything you need. Owners will arrange drives to anywhere you need to go. The food at this homestay is better than anything you could find in town and the portions are generous. During the time that I was there, they coordinated my drives to and from Huangshan, took care of my drive to and from the train station, and coordinated my daytrip to and from Hongcun. The front staff are absolutely lovely and provided me with a lot of fresh fruit and snacks. The rooms are simply gorgeous and there was no better way to unwind after a long hike at Huangshan than to take a dip in their bathtub with the complimentary bath salts. There's even a cute little kitten out front. Don't even hesitate to book this place and be sure to not only try their tea, but also try their mijiu (rice wine).

We are tourists from Indonesia with very little Mandarin speaking ability. And we travel with a 5 years old. We choose this place to stay during our Huangshan hike trip with little expectation. Turns out, even with language barrier they managed to assist us beyond 5 stars! The communication started before our arrival, they checked on us and making sure we have easy journey to their hotel. They offer very reasonable price for pick up & drop off service to Huangshanbei Railway Station with a comfortable Tesla. I had a really pleasant stay at their hotel. I have travelled few places before but my stay at Shanyu is something very memorable to us, especially for my daughter. Their warmth welcome, smile, hospitality, and kindness are communicated through the beautiful bedroom (they upgraded our room!), environment (they have tea plantation at the back), and their cuisines are amazing!! We had dinner at their restaurants each night and we like it so much (including my picky eater daughter). On my hiking day, they caringly prepared us raincoat, climbing stick, and takeaway snacks. They even drop and pick us up on the Huangshan tourist center. The only regret we have is we stay for 2 nights only.

The owner was incredibly welcoming, even coming out to greet us. She saw we were a family traveling together and kindly upgraded our room. The room was very clean, and the overall minimalist and bright design felt very comfortable. The hotel is quietly nestled at the foot of Huangshan, offering peace but with all the amenities you could need. In the afternoon, we sampled their tea, which had an excellent flavor, and ended up buying a pound. The lunch, as some online reviews mentioned, was a bit pricey, but the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. Breakfast was also fantastic (they make their own steamed buns!). On our second day, the owner personally drove us to Huangshan for our hike and even picked us up afterward. We also had afternoon tea at the hotel, and since it was Mid-Autumn Festival, the owner even gave us mooncakes 🥮. I highly recommend this place! The housekeepers were also incredibly helpful. Truly a great experience!

A tranquil haven amidst the hustle and bustle. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a welcome fruit platter and a handwritten card from the owner, which was a very thoughtful touch. There was ample parking, and the hotel even had several of its own charging stations. The service was excellent, especially the pick-up and drop-off service to the South Gate transfer center. It saved us a lot of hassle and effort. Taxis are hard to come by at the scenic area, but the owner came directly to the parking lot where the shuttle bus drops off passengers. This spared us from having to walk further when we were already tired after descending the mountain. This service truly deserves high praise – it was incredibly considerate. वाद The owner was very friendly and hospitable. We heard they also own a tea plantation and other businesses, but we were pressed for time and couldn't visit the tea house. When we left, we received a souvenir. I particularly enjoyed the Huimo shortbread; it's perfect with a cup of tea.

For this National Day holiday, we chose Shanyu Life B&B, and our whole family was extremely satisfied. The owner and staff were incredibly professional. We enjoyed tea culture exchanges, comfortable accommodations, and the B&B's prime location. Whenever we needed to go to the Huangshan Scenic Area's South Gate, the B&B arranged pick-up and drop-off service, which was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. They even prepared snacks that our entire family loved. The B&B also organized rich festive activities in the evenings, which everyone, from young to old, thoroughly enjoyed.

The surroundings are very quiet, and parking is convenient. The bamboo forest on the hillside is just a stone's throw away, and the air is wonderfully fresh. The room is clean, spacious, and grand. The butler-style service is impeccable, including pick-up and drop-off. Many thoughtful details. I'll definitely stay here again.

Traveling with kids, we booked a suite and were absolutely amazed when we arrived – the decor and design are fantastic, and the environment is excellent. As we drove, the hotel offered free charging, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with nice linens. Most importantly, the Anhui cuisine prepared by the hotel chefs was incredibly authentic; there was no need to look for food elsewhere, a huge thumbs up! 👍 Many thanks to all the lovely ladies at the hotel for their warm service, especially the sweet Yueyue, whose service was incredibly thoughtful. This is a must-stay hotel for a trip to Huangshan. 😊

Very beautiful mountain homestay. Warm welcome, spacious rooms with great interior design, excellent breakfast and dinner. Complimentary drinks and fruit are provided. The whole team was catering to our wishes, arranging transfers and excursions. Please do book the tea ceremony, which will take you to the family‘s bigger tea mountain (a 20-min ride from the homestay) where you can learn about tea production and watch the most beautiful sunset. There‘s also a cute little tea mountain directly behind the homestay and if you take the small foot path up the hill you will get to the next village in 30 mins.
