New York Hotels with Hot Tub

Although I read some negative reviews online about long elevator wait times and police car noise, I decided to give it a try because of the prime location. After comparing prices on trip.com, I was able to book a hotel at a very good price two weeks before my departure. The hotel as a whole is as fresh as the photos shared by other guests on the Internet. There are about 60 rooms on each floor (based on the room number arrangement along the stairwell), but luckily we didn't hear frequent noise from neighbors or passersby like we would in a hotel in Tokyo. Although you can occasionally hear the sirens of police cars on the street outside, or the noise from watching football games in the restaurant on the 8th floor and the banquet hall below the 7th floor, it is generally very quiet. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The side table of the desk can be pulled out to form a 90-degree angle with the main table, increasing the usable space. The air-conditioning vents are designed next to the window and will not blow directly onto the bed, which I think is very good. You have to pay an additional $40 per day to use it at restaurants or to subscribe to wireless internet in your room (hotels don’t offer free Wi-Fi like in Japan, South Korea or Taiwan). It didn't work at Starbucks or the gift shop so we just had a drink at the 8th floor bar and enjoyed the night view of the Times Square ads. We found vending machine in 7f we can buy drinks and snacks any time.

Stunning hotel. I just got a single room for myself and it was plenty big enough for me! Great location can’t beat it. Welcoming and helpful staff with a lovely café on the bottom level. Would recommend to anyone coming to visit the city!

Very happy staying in The Times Square Edition! Comfortable beds and beautifully designed rooms, everyone is friendly and kind and helpful, big shout out to Shar, who was exceptional when assisting with the check in process! The staff at breakfast restaurant was cold though, but the food was beyond 5 star. Will definitely come back to stay here next time!

During check in the asian young lady, she was not really polite, a bit rude, maybe it is normal in such a mass New York city, but for Intercontinental Hotel it shouldn’t be! She gave me handicap room, without any informing me! Later I had to wait 30 minutes in order to change it to another room. The new room window was broken, Room number 748, engineer came and could not fix, this took another 30-40 minutes. The bathroom I could find some blond hairs from previous tenants mostly, was not really clean. Price wise for such a service 500$ is too much, I would hardly pay even 200$ for such a services and conditions! I will not stay anymore in this hotel!

Honestly, room was smaller than expected. The only good point about this room is the location as it’s 5-10 minutes away from Time Square. For its price honestly i feel is a pricey. Just know you’re only paying for the location and not the room.

It was a nice hotel with great great view! I love this hotel, the neighborhood was perfect as well. Recommend people who wants a compact room with good location. I had to check out early so it was kind of sad but still enjoyed it :)

Located in Flushing. Its a good location if you want to explore other side of New York. There's a lot of Asian restaurants, bakeshops, and tea places around the area and interesting sightings at night time like street foods. My mom and I stayed in this hotel and they were all friendly. They also provided free water bottles when we checked in and another in the room. The room was clean and very comfortable. I would love to stay here again in the future when I visit NYC again.

### Marriott beats Hilton! I can't believe that Marriott and Hilton are only 165 feet (about 0.03 miles) apart, but the experience is so different. Marriott provided free bottled water at check-in, while Hilton charged $8 per bottle. Hilton's elevators were all out of service due to the so-called ”flood”, while Marriott, which is only separated by a wall, was running normally and in an orderly manner. From the moment I stepped into the door, Marriott's smiling service made people feel warm. When the staff asked if I needed help with my luggage, I hesitated for a moment - because my luggage had been delayed in Hilton due to elevator failure. Last time I attended a meeting, I had a tight schedule and had to choose Hilton with a great location. As a result, I spent 17 minutes waiting for the elevator! For business travelers, don't choose Hilton. Whether in Hunan, China or Manhattan, New York, my stay experience was extremely disappointing. The room soundproofing was very poor, and it was almost impossible to sleep! To be honest, if Marriott can completely crush Hilton in such a first-tier city and developed country, it already says it all. Not to mention the refund issue - Hilton's three-night room rate is as high as five figures, and I booked a room with a balcony. As a result, because of their so-called ”flood”, I still haven't refunded it! If I hadn't walked into Marriott with my luggage today, I couldn't believe what I experienced at Hilton. ### Marriott Completely Wins Over Hilton! I can't believe the stark contrast between Marriott and the Hilton just 165 feet (0.03 miles) away. At check-in, Marriott provided complimentary bottled water, while Hilton charged $8 USD per bottle. The elevators at Hilton were out of service due to alleged ”flooding,” yet somehow, despite being just one wall apart, everything at Marriott was running perfectly. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles. When asked if I needed assistance with my luggage, I hesitated for a moment—because at Hilton, my luggage was stuck downstairs for ages due to the elevator delays. Last time I stayed at Hilton for a conference, I had an urgent schedule, yet I waited 17 minutes just for an elevator. Especially for business travelers, never choose Hilton. My experience has been consistently disappointing—whether in Hunan, China, or Manhattan, New York. The soundproofing is terrible! Honestly, if a Marriott can outshine Hilton in a first-tier city of a first-world country, that speaks volumes. And let's talk about refunds—three nights at Hilton cost me five figures, and I booked a room with a balcony. Yet, due to their so-called ”flooding,” I still haven't received my refund. If I hadn't personally walked into Marriott today, I wouldn't have believed the difference between these two hotels.

Customer service specially at the reception desk was very poor - they would never say please or Thankyou. If you ask a question it’s too much trouble or work for them. Overall experience was good but customer service is something that you need to take as a grain of salt when you visit /stay here

A true old money style hotel. The front desk and concierge service level is very high. Check-in was smooth and pleasant. I communicated with the concierge and booked the JG dinner next door. It's Trump's hotel, so I took some details. The room is not large, but it fully demonstrates the ”small but complete”. The open kitchen on the right side of the door is fully equipped with all kinds of cooking utensils. In addition to espresso and American cups, coffee cups are also prepared for take-out disposable cups. The bathroom is not big either. The bathroom supplies insist on using small packages for each guest. The towels are white and soft. The hardware is indeed a bit old, but it is well maintained and very clean. The SPA is comfortable and the night bed is professionally made. Downstairs is opposite Central Park. In winter, there is not much scenery except taking a carriage to stroll around. It should be beautiful when the cherry blossoms bloom in March!
