I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bed Friends Poshtel in Chiang Rai, Thailand, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Let me break down my stay for you. First and foremost, one of the highlights of this poshtel is its convenient location. Finding delicious food options in the neighborhood was incredibly easy, which is a must for any traveler. Additionally, the fact that it was just a 4-minute walk to a laundry facility was a huge convenience, especially for those of us on extended trips. The poshtel also offers tours right from its location, which is a great way to explore the beautiful surroundings of Chiang Rai. Furthermore, they have a coworking space, which I found extremely useful. I used it multiple times to complete my online school work, and having a quiet space when needed was a real plus. Now, onto the room. I stayed in a small room, and while it was cozy, I did encounter a minor issue with the air conditioning not working properly. However, I suspect that this may have been due to user error, so I wouldn't hold it against the establishment. One aspect that could use some improvement is the signage regarding restroom facilities. It would be helpful if there were clearer indications of which gender should use the showers and toilets. I had a slightly amusing but potentially awkward encounter when I found a man getting out of the shower in the women's restroom. While it didn't upset me, I believe better signage could prevent such incidents from occurring. On a positive note, the bathrooms and eating areas were consistently clean during my stay, which is always appreciated. One of the standout features of Bed Friends Poshtel was the friendly staff. They were always ready to assist and make my stay comfortable. Despite a minor hiccup with the AC and a signage issue, I would definitely consider staying at Bed Friends Poshtel again in the future. The convenience of the location, availability of tours, and the presence of a coworking space made my stay enjoyable, and the welcoming staff added to the overall positive experience.

This stay gave me a new understanding of the concept of youth hostels. I booked a double bed room, which is located near the roadside. This superior location not only allows me to find the hotel easily, but also allows me to feel the pulse of the city in the room. Whenever night falls, the lights outside the window and the pedestrians on the road rush, which adds a bit of comfort and tranquility to my journey. The decoration style of the hotel is simple but stylish, and every detail reveals the designer's care and ingenuity. The design of the shared space between the front desk and the bar not only saves space, but also creates a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Here, I can communicate with travelers from all over the world at any time and share interesting things and experiences during the journey. Free mineral water and snacks are provided in the public area. This thoughtful service made me feel the warmth and care of home during my journey. Whether it was a glass of water when I was thirsty or a snack when I was hungry, I felt the hotel's careful attention to the needs of the guests. However, the room hygiene was slightly average. Although it was clean overall, some details still needed to be improved. However, considering the nature and price of the hostel, this did not affect my accommodation experience too much. In addition, the hotel is close to the night market, which is undoubtedly a huge plus for me who likes to explore local food and culture. Whenever night falls, I can walk to the night market and enjoy the authentic and delicious snacks and unique cultural atmosphere. The bar on the first floor of the hotel has become a great place for me to relax and make new friends at night. Although it is open until 11 o'clock in the evening, for me, this is enough for me to spend a fulfilling and enjoyable night. The only regret is that the hotel does not provide breakfast service. However, considering the rich dining options around, this did not become a minus for my stay this time. Overall, this characteristic upgraded hostel in Chiang Rai provided me with an unforgettable accommodation experience. Whether it is the superior geographical location, simple decoration style, considerate public services, or the convenience of being close to the night market and the joyful atmosphere of the bar on the first floor, I feel the warmth of home and the comfort of the journey. Although the room hygiene needs to be improved and there is no breakfast service, overall, this is still an accommodation option worth recommending and trying.

This is my go-to hostel in Chiang Rai. The rooms are clean, you can meet ppl from all over the world, and the owner is really friendly. Breakfast is included too, which is great. I especially love the female dorm because the beds are extra comfy. Highly recommend! 🩵

The pillows are soft but the mattress is very hard. May be suitable for elderly people who like hard mattresses. If the light in the room is too bright, there should be a bedside lamp as well. And if you can use a hair dryer, that would be great.

It is the biggest hostel in this area. The living room downstairs is spacious, clean accommodation. Near the market community, bus station, famous cultural attractions, night bazaar, delicious restaurants, coffee shops, can walk by yourself.

The owner is very attentive and very attentive. The cool clothes are very convenient. It is 12 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes away from the troubles. There is a free drink and breakfast at 50 baht, which is very affordable. The only drawback is that the toilet ring is broken and not repaired in time, and the water leakage under the washbasin is not repaired.

The bathroom is spotless even shared. There is a housekeeper to clean all the time. There is a communal kitchen serving snacks, coffee, drinking water. There is a refrigerator to buy things to soak in. I am very impressed. I recommend that if anyone is looking at the accommodation and traveling by bus, it is worth staying.
