GGuest UserBean Sprouts is my luck. I can meet a group of like-minded friends during the tiring journey. The proprietress is also very cheerful, and very diligent. On the day I arrived, I saw her cleaning alone. There is also a handsome dog in the store who is very obedient and can be petted. Next time I have a chance, I will come to Northwest and live in Bean Sprouts again.

MMarco MonkeyThis is the best traveler accommodation you can find in Zhangye. Rooms and dorms are sparkling clean, and so are the common toilets, cleaned several times daily as I observed. The showers are on the upper floors, and this could be really the only drawback if one comes when it's cold. Otherwise, the atmosphere is great - plenty of Chinese and international travelers to share evenings and meals, and they organize affordable tours to the Danxia scenic area and also Mati si and Jingta temples. We took one and were very happy with the driver and the service and made the best out of our day in Zhangye. Book without exitation!

GGuest UserThe boss is very enthusiastic and helped us upgrade the room type for free. The facilities are very new and clean in all aspects. The most important room is very design. It is recommended to stay!

It is clean and comfortable, and conveniently located in the centre of the city, with all major attractions within a 15 minute walk (Mingqing street; drum tower; Big Buddha temple; wooden pagoda and the connected square [lots of people dancing in the mornings and evenings—a must see!]). The receptionist was very helpful and friendly too. The hostel also organised affordable transport for us to and from Danxia rainbow sand dunes (50¥/person) and Mati temple (70¥/person); note that this is 1/3 of the price charged by private drivers or tour agencies! A good place to base yourself to explore Zhangye and nearby sites.
