The location is good, not far from Shuishe Pier. The staff are very warm and friendly. If you have any questions, they will serve you with a friendly attitude. The season when I went happened to be the firefly season, and the tour was free.

GGengulphusThe hotel is 3-minute walking distance to the pier and 800 meters to the cable car station. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the breakfast has both western and Chinese options. I would recommend anyone staying here to check Wi-Fi signals the moment you enter the room, as I had connectivity issues in the room, the connection keeps dropping out, and I couldn’t even make a voice call using the data network. This is very disappointing, as the internet is unusable. I was very disappointed

JJoanneliciousGreat location! Walking distance to the QingJing skywalk ＞ goes to the farm. Many restaurants within walking distance. The villa even provided transport to nearby restaurants (would recommend the hotpot) the hotpot staff even allowed us to stop at 7-11 for a quick snack purchase. Water pressure was good and they even had a heated mattress. Best thing about this villa was the star gazing activity. We were really lucky and managed to see many stars before the clouds started rolling in. Best villa in the area because of this!! Hope you’ll be as lucky as I am. Found private transport on klook which picked us up at Taichung and dropped us back the next day. Really loved the hospitality provided and the view from the villa.

SShanthiThe location just near the lake. Cleanliness was ok. Hotel very very small. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a family operated hotel. They cleaned the room immediately when requested. Hotel was old. Breakfast was simple with vegetarian options. But could not eat. The non- veg smell came from the wedges or hash browns. All were served in the same tray. They even cooked some rice dumpling and a planted based cracker like food. But pure vegetarian will not be able to eat. Bread and conger were ok. Same food both days. Water dispenser on 3rd floor. No air-conditioning. The window cannot close airtight. Only a thin perforated mobile door on 1 side. The outside temperature was too cold and the room air-conditioning was not able to on. Very disappointing.

SsomchartSpring Ground Hotel is in good Location and close about 5mins drive to CingJing Farm. If you take Nan Tou Bus, you can drop off at Shou Ting Bus Stop, it will be just 1min walk to the Hotel. It's very convenience. Hotel's scenery and hotel itself is very Beautiful. In early of Nov, The weather is so nice. Day time is ok around 25c and Night Time around 15-18c. There is no need for air conditioner. Hotel Breakfast is just ok. If you want to go to CingJing Farm or small market, you can inform the hotel staff, they are nice to help you. Hotel also have a good Mala Hot Pot restaurant. Restaurant need you to order at least 1set per person but the price is reasonable and very good tasty. We are all happy staying here.

CCYY1111I booked Lake View Quad 1 Room 2 Nights. Inside the room two large double beds were placed side by side on one side of the room, leaving a small passage to place your luggages and to move within the room. The two beds were sufficient for 4 pax. But the beds were so close, there was no walking space between them. One can only get out of the bed via the foot of the bed. This is not ideal for senior people who may need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. So if you are travelling with seniors, take the twin / double room instead. The savings is not worth it. Plus the room has really limited space for 4 adults to be moving around. The plus point for this hotel is that it has an amazing view of the lake and there are many shops along the street. Do note that the walls are thin, you can hear your neighbours next door, especially if they sat at the balcony. There was no shower curtain so the whole toilet was wet after our shower. We didn't use the tub as it was not easy for the seniors to sit inside. No amenities except Shampoo and Body Soap.

EEvangelin WongMost stays within Cingjing has no elevator/ lift, so be prepared to carry your luggages up & down some stairs within the compound. Room was as per advertised. Spacious enough for a family of 4. Toothbrush, comb, shavers and towels are available too. Staff was good and clear of information. Just be mindful that after 8pm onwards, there would be no staff around - so you would require to remember the password of the main entrance. NOTE: There's no English T&Cs, so be prepared to have your Google translator on your phone if you can't read Chinese. Constant hot water for shower would be from 5PM to 12PM daily. If you would to shower earlier in the morning, you would require let the water run for awhile before the hot water is available otherwise you may have to shower with icy cold water. Generally, you would require a transport within Cingjing else it's not accessible for you to grab food or your necessities from the 7-11. Breakfast is available at NT$200/pax from 7:30AM - 9AM. Brunch is available at ala carte prices ranging from NT$150 onwards from 9AM - 2PM. Restaurants are available within Cingjing if you have your own transportation. Otherwise, you may wish to call the cafe located at the Swiss Garden, they do offer food delivery but be sure to check on their operating hours. 😀

GGuest UserA hotel with an extremely scenic view. The only downside is that the hotel is not near to any food establishment and you need to take bus or taxi to reach the attractions or return to the hotel , if you do not have a car. Hence downloading the App “Find Taxi” is very important to us. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. They even offered us a ride to a restaurant nearby when we need to go for dinner.
