"I traveled to Huangshan from Shanghai (originally from Beijing) to climb the mountain and I found myself on Trip.com looking for a hostel that is clean and affordable. My search landed at this Kunlun Hostel in the downtown area. I love how accommodating the front desk people are. They only spoke a little English but they helped me out in booking my bus from downtown to the scenic area. It was already 10 p.m. but still they accommodated my request. I booked a bed in a six-bed dormitory but it was full when I arrived so they went ahead and gave me a room with three beds and an ensuite bathroom. Later, my two roommates arrived and made a new friend with one of them. She doesn't speak English while I speak basic Chinese. Stil,l we communicated in Chinese and shared our views and opinions about life, travel, and womanhood. It was wonderful! I love the cleanliness of this hotel and the free water every day. Toiletries were provided in the room as well as towels. The common area is quite spacious and you can buy refreshments at affordable prices. I took a Didi car from Huangshan North to this hostel. I love how convenient it is to do that! On my last night, I stopped by the Ancient Street for Mandarin Fish and foot massage. It was blissful! I am glad I booked my two-night stay at Kunlun Huangshan Downtown."

Perfect

GGregMII chose the 0517 hotel after reading great reviews, and they were not wrong! Starting with the simple things, the location is so convenient being in the part of town nearest the park’s south entrance. You can walk there in ~15 minutes, passing several options for a street food breakfast along the way. There is also a good selection of restaurants for dinner, and a very nice bakery to pick up snacks for the day. The long distance buses arrive at a bus station a few km away, but the hotel will arrange the pickup for you, free of charge. The hotel’s design in the rooms and shared spaces is very modern & clean, in a style appreciated by westerners. The rooms are on the small side, but have everything you need. Leaving the best point until last – the highlight here is the customer service provided by the owner Timo and his staff. 11/10! Nothing is too much trouble, they will help you with everything from trip planning, to organizing local shared taxi to surrounding areas, to storing luggage, or whatever. On both the nights there, I had a long, friendly chat with him and a couple of others over a drink in the evening. Felt more like being his personal guest than being in a hotel. HIGHLY recommended!

AArianethis is a really nice hostel, the room are very comfortable and super clean. there's a lovely common area. it's very close to the old town and bus station. Evan at reception is amazing, he speaks really good english and was super helpful and responsive when i asked questions prior to my arrival and during my stay. Best place to stay in Hongcun!

When I checked out, I saw the proprietress squatting on the stairs and rubbing the rag layer by layer! Very careful! Service: From the beginning of the check-in, the boss took the initiative to ask if he needed to pick up and drop off. If you have any questions, you can contact him at any time. I feel that the boss is also very kind! Distance: Although it takes six minutes to drive from the transfer center, it is also far from the noise of the transfer center. The road is very quiet at night and I have a good night's sleep. And the boss can provide a pick-up and drop-off to offset the distance problem. RRC-SThe best hostel you could ever find. The owner speaks English and plays the guitar. He created an artistic atmosphere all his own, making this place unique. I spent an unforgettable evening drinking, chatting, and listening to music with Chinese people from different provinces. Despite the language barrier, this evening will remain etched in my heart. LLai Yin ChanArchitecture old house building with splendid atmosphere hostel in a heritage town. The boss is quite approachable. He put my washing out under the sunlight while I was in the downtown~how sweet. They cater lunch and dinner with a cost. I enjoyed the diversity meal time with the share mates and hostel staffs when we shared conversations.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean, the view from the window was also very good, next to the Emerald Valley, a little distance from the transfer, but the boss took care of the pick-up, and when we left, we helped us find Hongcun's carpooling service on May 1st. It was really rare. Also helped us plan the play route worried that the two girls were worried about us, very good.

淡淡I like the style of the hotel quite a lot. The bed linen and quilt cover are also different from other homes, just like at home. Then I like the wash basin in the bathroom. Then the boss and the proprietress are very nice. They help us watch the baby and explain to us in detail. The only thing I don’t like about Huangshan’s strategy is that the proprietress should let us walk up the mountain, because driving up the mountain cost us four hours and 300 yuan for parking. If you don’t drive, you won’t be so much. Maybe the boss doesn’t know how many people are. But the hotel is still very good, I will choose here when I come next time.
