The hostel is about 1 km away from the distribution center of Huangshan Scenic Area. If you need to go up the mountain, just walk over. The boss will drive it to you for free every morning. This is very good. Travelers from different countries, and the cultural exchange experience when everyone is chatting, is definitely not comparable to other hotels. This is also an important reason why I choose a youth hostel when traveling alone; the rooms are clean and I am used to everything. Equipment and self-help, this feels good.

Hostel reception and manager were excellent host, they were very hospitable. The location of the hostel is very good for those doing day trips to Hong cun, Xidi and Huangshan as it's just a short walk to the main bus station to these areas (long distance bus station). It's also about 2km from the Huangshan old town which is walkable for an evening stroll. I will visit Huangshan Hong Cun/Xidi and stay in this hostel again.

Easily the best hostel I have ever stayed at in my years of solo travelling. Toilets, beds and shared areas were spotless. Only a 20 min walk away from the bus up Huangshan, and very reasonably priced.
The owner of the hostel is also endlessly helpful and a joy to chat with. If you are coming direct from the airport or train station don’t forget to reach out to her about a share ride option that is much cheaper than a taxi and more direct than the bus!

The last time I stayed in a youth hostel was ten years ago, and this time I had the best experience. Stayed in room 302, double bed. Tell me some points
1. The room is along the street, and the window is the road. It was actually very quiet.
2. There is a large Xiaomi TV that can be connected to WIFI for screencasting, which is very convenient. There is air conditioning and heating can be turned on
3. Not far from the scenic spot, just a few hundred meters away is the Passenger Transport Center Station.

I had a great time at this hostel. The host speaks some English and contributes to the atmosphere. Hongcun and its surroundings are definitely worth a few days of a China trip, and Qingheyue Inn is a great base to explore the area. I recommend international backpackers to come here.

GGregMII chose the 0517 hotel after reading great reviews, and they were not wrong! Starting with the simple things, the location is so convenient being in the part of town nearest the park’s south entrance. You can walk there in ~15 minutes, passing several options for a street food breakfast along the way. There is also a good selection of restaurants for dinner, and a very nice bakery to pick up snacks for the day. The long distance buses arrive at a bus station a few km away, but the hotel will arrange the pickup for you, free of charge.
The hotel’s design in the rooms and shared spaces is very modern & clean, in a style appreciated by westerners. The rooms are on the small side, but have everything you need.
Leaving the best point until last – the highlight here is the customer service provided by the owner Timo and his staff. 11/10! Nothing is too much trouble, they will help you with everything from trip planning, to organizing local shared taxi to surrounding areas, to storing luggage, or whatever. On both the nights there, I had a long, friendly chat with him and a couple of others over a drink in the evening. Felt more like being his personal guest than being in a hotel. HIGHLY recommended!

GGuest User#The hygiene is very clean. You can’t even see a hair on the stairs. When I was about to return and check out, I saw my aunt wiping the floor with a towel. It was the first time I saw such extreme hygiene. I’m really not exaggerating. #Service小My sister is very nice. She knew that I wanted to be quiet, and even changed the room for us. They basically didn’t pick up and drop off from the place where we lived. We only picked up and dropped off at their home. The price was also very affordable, and the price was very affordable during the May Day period. #EATABOUT Regarding food, the food we ate in the town after we came down from the mountain did not feel very authentic and was very average. When we stayed at their hotel, we could really try their food. The taste of local home-cooked food in Huangshan is better than the assembly line in restaurants. The same method is good, hahahaha
