Buenos Aires Hostels

How a hostel should be run. One of the best I've ever stayed in, in 20 years of travelling. Curtains, charger, light and a lock box for every bed. Large lockers in the room. Rooms are super spacious. They have individual safety boxes with a password in the reception area and a camera watching them so you can leave valuables. Fastidiously clean. Cleaned multiple times a day. All sheets, curtains are super clean. Many large, private bathrooms around the hostel with free soap, shampoo, conditioner. Activities almost everyday ranging from empanada and mate making to tango lessons. A wide range of common areas: 2 large, clean well stocked kitchens, a quiet room, a work room, a garden. Free water dispensers. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff 24/7. Safe because you need to buzz in every time. Someone is there 24/7. Right next to Florida Calle for money changing. Closest subway is 2 minutes away. Lots of shops, restaurants super close by. Including a really great, affordable, vegetarian self service place and a really nice restaurant with great meat where you get a discount for being a hostel customer. I stayed there initially and went back after a trip to Patagonia. They let me leave my luggage while I was in Patagonia. Sorry for the long review but having travelled a lot and stayed in many hostels, I was really impressed with how this hostel was run. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it. Very sociable hostel which has lots of activities on, easy to find out information and the staff speak English too. Big dorm rooms, although a shame we had to make our own beds

🚫 SCAM ALERT at Art Factory Soho, Buenos Aires 🚫 While staying at Art Factory Soho in Buenos Aires, a man contacted me via WhatsApp and told me I had to pay $50 before he would give me the code to my room. I asked other people who had stayed there, and they all confirmed: no one else had to pay any $50. That’s when I realized — this man was trying to scam me. This kind of thing should never happen at a hotel. There was no warning, no protection, and no accountability. I would not recommend staying here. You should feel safe when you travel — not targeted. I have attached screenshots for proof.

Nicely and conveniently located in neighborhood San Telmo with some small shops (one cute empanada shop that is worth trying!) in the street. The people at the reception are very friendly and helpful - if you need a local sim card for your stay you can ask them to help you fix it in 5 minutes. We were a bit less enthusiastic about the rooms - they are quite small (we couldn't fit our two suitcases, but if you're traveling with backpack it should be okay) and a bit outdated and the sheets/pillow smelled musty.. For the same price that we paid, we had a much nicer/cleaner stay in another hotel down the road. The vibe in the hostel was really good though, it seemed like a lot of guests knew each other, so it's a great place to meet people.

Conveniently located in the location where you can go by bus from the airport and the worst walk to the center along the river. He also responded to early check-in and accepted luggage storage after check-out. The shower was usually old, but the facilities were not denied, but it seemed to be well maintained and it was enough for me. However, please note that the cat is sitting in the hallway.

I extended my stay because it was so comfortable. I was allowed to leave my luggage there after check-out and use the common areas. It's also convenient to the airport and bus terminal, so I'd definitely like to stay here again if I come to Buenos Aires.

El hostel se destaca por la ubicacion, mejor imposible. La gente que te recibe es muy amable y predispuesta a ayudar. Nos han ofrecido lockers gratis al hacer el check out para poder pasear tranquilos. Ofrecen desayuno sencillo (cafe y medialunas) a muy buen precio. Cuentan con partilla, terraza, solarium, un bar, muchas instalaciones que ayudan a la vida y ambiente de hostel. Muy contentos con la experiencia. Falta un poco de limpieza en el baño privado pero pudo haber sido cosa de un dia. Recomendable.

Nice place, well located in Palermo neighborhood. Kind staff, nice kitchen and terrace, also a good breakfast and a comfy mattress.

i stayed in a room with private bathroom for only one night. the location of the hotel is very good, i can travel to most of the places on foot. bed is comfortable, room is big, nice and clean, the receptionist is extremely nice and helpful, wifi is strong also. however there is a lot of noise coming from the hotel guests and with all the smell of cigarette which make me difficult to sleep, but this is not the fault of the hotel, I hope the travelers can be more considerable. I didn't have chance to try the breakfast because my flight is in the early morning.

When people kindly looked for a restaurant, they thought about it together. Sometimes there are events and it looks very fun.
