The famous Tian Tan Buddha, Po Lin Monastery and Heart Sutra Forest are all within easy reach. The Phoenix Mountain facing the hostel is 934 meters above sea level and is a great place to watch the sunrise (it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the top). If you want to stroll around Ngong Ping Market or try the Ngong Ping Cable Car, the journey will only take a few dozen minutes. The hostel is currently open seven days a week. Members are kindly requested to make reservations in advance. From Tung Chung: Take bus No. 23 from Tung Chung Bus Terminal to Ngong Ping Bus Terminal and walk towards Po Lin Monastery. At Po Lin Monastery, follow the path on the left side of the old public toilet and follow the hostel sign for about 5 to 10 minutes to reach the hostel.
