Excellent services provided by the lobby staff Bruce, lobby staff Bono, all other lobby staff, restaurant Praya's manager Joe are all Excellent staff. Ver well trained. The unobstructed view of the Harbour makes it enjoyable after a long day of running around on business. This hotel definitely is awesome.
The room is clean and tidy, bright, air conditioning, refrigerator, no noise, the external environment is not bad, the traffic is very convenient, the subway, the Dingding car is very close, there is a kitchen on the third floor.
Had the experience of staying in many serviced apartments in life so far and I’m left to wonder how the Connaught defines ‘serviced’. Other than removing the bins and swapping towels, I can’t thinking of much else they offer. Saw a cockroach come running across our kitchen/lounge tonight and called the front desk for help with cleaning or bug spray. Not only did the staff not provide cleaning or spray, we had to call them just to get a response. Understand the team might be understaffed later in the evening but wouldn’t expect cockroaches in serviced apartments and certainly wouldn’t expect such a lack of diligence in the staff responding to this.

This hotel was a great value for money at a very convenient location and right next to an MTR station. You get what you paid for: the rooms are HK-size (small) but comfortable; and the hotel is long overdue for a renovation, but it was all very clean and the housekeeping team was very attentive. I got a harbour-view room on a high floor and that was beautiful.
Sarah assisted me to smoothly check in & she was friendly, patient & helpful. We have stayed in Ibis Sheung Wan for the 5th time. Convenient location. Mins walk to Sheung Wan & Sai Yin Pun MTR & tram stop jus 2mins away from hotel. Airport bus A11 is also nearby at Macau Ferry Terminal Stop. No frills room but are neat & clean. We'll usu request for a topper for the mattress as we find a little hard. Pillows also abit too high else everything is great! Thanks Team Ibis SW 🙏👍
Interior design is vintage and everything is original. It looks like ‘80 hotel. Room size is big but lighting is dark. Not enough towels, only 2 big and 2 med. carpet needs to be clean.
As usual in Hong Kong, the service is adequate but rather cold. The airport express bus is just across from the entrance so very convenient to the airport. There's lots of local transportation options right next to the hotel so very easy to explore HK. The hotel itself is excellent commiserate to the price.
Simple and affordable hotel in the heart of Hong Kong. Room was nice and modern but certain corners at the windows were a little dirty. Room size is small as you would expect from a cheaper hotel in Hong Kong. Lifts can be a hassle during busy times, only two lifts for 30 floors of guest rooms. Overall a pleasant stay with good front desk service.
Land here is limited so considering that, you actually get a pretty decent room size already. Cosy place and always clean.
The lounge was nice. They have a free flow alcohol bar for you to mix, 3 drinks and it makes your upgrade worth already.
We got a room with a new view too overlooking the ocean ☺️ very nice to wake up to.
Staffs are all amazing, super polite and 1 in particular was even more amazing. Thank you Billy for all your help during our stay. Always a pleasure to see you around and have the small conversations, making the trip an even more pleasant one. (His English is perfect too, making it super easy to communicate).
I remembered we also picked up the phone to request for something, the first line was “good morning Mr xxx, how can I help you today?”, my husband was shocked at the service and took some time to reply 🤣
Location: there’s a laundry place at hill road, just around the corner. Supermarkets too. 7eleven right beside. And the MTR, right in front of the hotel. After staying for a few days, u will be glad you chose here considering the convenience.
My second stay here at 99 Bonham. Stayed here for 2 nights during the mid autumn festival. The room is spacious but the bathroom is a bit small compared to the size of room. Need to work on cleanliness as I could see some on the floor and on walls in the bathroom. But overall it’s clean and comfortable.
The hotel gifted us lantern, pear, and a mooncake and some tea on Mid Autumn Festival. The lantern is so cute! But we’ll need to get batteries from 7-11 so that’s a bit of a trouble but we’re still happy with it.

GGuest UserThe shower position is wide, the ventilation is also very good, the hot water is cold, there is not much steam trapped, the room I booked has a small balcony, but unfortunately the building is close to the front, the service is large
GGuest UserI stayed for four consecutive days, two of which were Xiaoqiang. First of all, on the first day, I was on the ceiling of the bathroom. When I took a shower, I suddenly saw something moving at the end of my eyes. Fortunately, it was already at the end, so I had to walk out with a quick shower , lead it underground and destroy it. Xiaoqiang has the length of his little finger, and now he thinks of it, he has chicken skin. The next day at the sink, when I wanted to turn on the faucet, I fell from a height and fell into the sink. I was so frightened that my heart broke away. Moreover, Xiaoqiang is very strong and fat, and he almost landed on my head. It was scary. experience. Reported to the front desk, but after the waiter came to the room, he cleaned up the mess, with a cold attitude, and asked us how many days we stayed. It felt like ”accept the opinion, and the attitude remains the same.” There was mold in the bathroom, and there were black spots on the bath towels. I had no choice but to go to other supermarkets to buy a towel for my own use, and also taught me not to be lazy and add more towels next time. I thought it would be easy to train, but now the training has made me nervous.
GGuest Userwe checked in at late night and the service was nice and friendly.
The room was nice as descripted in the booking.
Water filtering machine was provided for drinking water. The toiletries were sufficient.
The room was well equipped and it would be great if we could do cooking.
but tableware might be self-prepared.
GGuest UserAfter the transfer to the hostel, the staff kindly answered and talked, and arranged for 4 people to stay in a medium-sized room with a bunk bed and a large bed in the basement. Dinner can be cooked in person, and the event room provides different games and fun. It is very relaxing to watch the sea and talk about the day.
GGuest UserVery spacious for the price with an amazing outdoor space which is very hard to find in Hong Kong.Tiny no frills reception. Room is clean and quite standard. Recommended for the outdoor space and low price. In a great part of the city with lots of coffe shops and next to the harbour. The room also has a sea view.
AAngelinchinaExcellently located, this hotel has recently been renovated and offers modern, clean and fresh rooms at a good rate.
There were no small towels nor toiletries or drinking water, but apparently it’s because of a new rule in HK.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Definitely recommended.
GGuest UserI moved into the Sheung Wan by Ovolo in April 2021. Initially a three month lease, I ended up staying for over 8 months. The convenience of location, quality of service and reasonable price were factors which kept me staying on. There was only one price increase to my lease which was communicated to me in a timely manner. My stay included room cleaning services once a week, WiFi, access to the communal “speak easy lounge” to do work and heat up my meals, a gym and clothing washing service. The restaurant Te Quiero Mucho serves delicious tacos and margaritas, which I enjoyed during the festivities of the Euro football tournament! The staff were great, especially Honz, who I could contact around the clock. He even provided his mobile number for cases of emergency. The rest of the staff were professional and hospitable - a really nice group of people. As one can expect during Hong Kong summer, my air conditioner unit struggled to keep up. However it was easy to get this issue fixed. I had meals delivered to my room on regular occasions without complications. My co-tenants were pleasant and I felt a sense of community with the familiar faces after a while. One downside is that the lift is slow and doubles as a service lift, which can make coming and going a bit of a slog. In the bigger picture however it really wasn’t that much of an inconvenience. I would highly recommend a long stay at the Ovolo. Location, price and quality of service are unbeatable.
