I don't usually leave reviews, but the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong truly deserves one. The hotel's convenient location is a given. We stayed here for three days, and the attentive service truly left a lasting impression. The front desk staff who handled our check-in were incredibly warm and welcoming. Upon seeing we had a child, they proactively offered a small gift and thoughtfully asked if we needed an extra bed. Every time we stepped out, the housekeeping staff greeted us with a smile, which always started our day on a positive note. The room was also impeccably tidy, with even our charging cables neatly coiled. Our child left an umbrella in the lobby, and a male staff member from lost and found patiently spent over ten minutes helping us look for it, for which I felt quite apologetic. The hotel breakfast was also excellent and plentiful, with high-quality ingredients. As we were leaving, our child said they definitely want to stay here again on our next trip to Hong Kong.

First of all, the location is very close to various attractions, and public transportation is very convenient. This time I arrived in Hong Kong from the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, and the apartment was only 600 meters away after getting off the boat. Secondly, the room environment. The apartment is fully equipped and you can even cook simple meals. The key is that compared to the main hotels in Hong Kong, which are only about 20 square meters, this space is completely overwhelming. The most worth introducing is the service. The service of the apartment staff is very enthusiastic. I am used to electronic payment and did not bring Hong Kong dollars, RMB, and credit cardsđ
. When I needed to pay a deposit, the sister who received me provided a flexible plan without a deposit, which perfectly solved my embarrassmentđĽ˛. In addition, the power sockets in Hong Kong are different from those in the mainland. You can borrow them at the front desk without having to buy them separately. Advantages: 1. Good location, central area of Central, suitable for business people, convenient transportation, 10 minutes walk to Central Metro, Airport Express Hong Kong Station. There are many restaurants nearby, breakfast and dinner can be solved nearby. 2. The room is large. Compared with many Hong Kong hotels at the same price, this area is very large, about 25-40 square meters. 3. This is a hotel-style apartment with kitchen tools, similar to a home. 4. The design style is distinctive and suitable for young people.

For my child's birthday, we opted for a family-themed room, and the entire 45th floor is dedicated to family suites! The moment the elevator doors opened, a whimsical mini train greeted us, instantly whisking us away to a fairy tale kingdom! There's a dedicated children's club offering dining, entertainment, and a variety of craft workshops daily! In fact, you could easily spend your entire stay without leaving the hotel, as it perfectly caters to all children's dining and entertainment needs, allowing parents to truly unwind. It truly gets a huge thumbs-up from us! We'll definitely be choosing Island Shangri-La Hong Kong again on our next visit!

My daughter and I had a great stay at The Murray . In my nth time of going to HK, staying in this luxury hotel is the highlight. The staff are very hospitable and accommodating. Excellent service! Special shout out to Rocky who accommodated us very well during the breakfast buffet and to Florence for assisting us with check-in. She also gave us some tips on where to explore and which school supplies store we should go to. My family would definitely come back to this hotel in December. It made our last night in HK memorable.

Our experience at the hotel was truly wonderful, thanks to its spacious rooms with modern amenities, professional yet courteous service, and prime location near key attractions. With a few adjustments to the breakfast variety, our stay would have been flawless. While the morning meal featured high-quality, flavorful dishes, the selection was somewhat restricted. Expanding the menu to include more diverse options-such as plant- based or gluten-free choices-would better accommodate different dietary needs and preferences. We booked two rooms at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, and my parents were extremely satisfied with their stay. They stayed in a room with two large double beds, and everything was perfect. The view from the room was breathtaking, and the room size was spacious and very comfortable.
All aspectsâservice, facilities, location, and cleanlinessâwere absolutely top-notch, deserving a full 10/10. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and luxurious stay, especially for families!

I can't find anything to complain about. The rooms were clean, the service was superb, and the location was great. The view from the room was also amazing. We got umbrellas when it was raining and the front desk was able to give us tips on how to get where. If you have a lot of luggage, you may want to book a bigger room, as the rooms in Hong Kong are generally relatively small.

The location is excellent, with an abundance of dining choices â both Chinese and Western â right nearby. It's also conveniently close to the subway station. A bonus was that due to the typhoon, they kindly offered a late check-out until 1 PM. Just a heads-up: if you need hot water for drinking, it's best to pick up some bottled water from a local supermarket.

GGuest UserI had a mixed experience during my stay. On the downside, there were security issues, as anyone could access the guest room floors, which made me feel a bit uneasy. Additionally, the lighting in the room was quite dim, which detracted from the overall ambiance. However, the service was excellent. The staff went above and beyond by preparing champagne glasses and slippers for us, and they even helped deliver items to our room. Overall, while the security concern and dim lighting were significant drawbacks, the attentive service made the stay more enjoyable.

The rooms were fresh feeling and large bathrooms. Bed was soft and amazing. Mountain view with partial harbour view was OK, but not worth paying extra for.
The check-in service was very manual and slow. Given this was the holiday period, but the process when engaged was very slow.
We used the swimming pool which needs a refresh when compared to the Shangri-La next door. There are good gym and also dining options.

I was on the 26th floor and could barely hear them so it didnât bother me at all. I hope to be back again. Here are pictures of the incredible sunrise I woke up too outside my window.

MMiaoChinI chose the Ovolo Central for my Sotheby's Institute of Art 5-day short course.
The Ovolo Central is very close to the galleries but at a rather quiet location.
Upon arrival, Duty Manager Carlton greeted me with big bright smile which ease my tiredness of the travel.
The room is of Modern Elegance design and so well-planned with all you need. The housekeeping did a great job to make the room comfortable.
The Mini bar got great selection of snacks and beverages to accommodate your hunger or thirst.
I really enjoy my stay with the Ovolo Central.

From the moment we arrived at Garden View, the experience was exceptional. The staff warmly welcomed us and surprised us with a newly decorated roomâit was stunning! Spacious, fresh, and thoughtfully designed, the room truly elevated our stay and made us feel pampered from the get-go.
đ The location is ideal for both relaxation and adventure. Nestled near greenery yet within reach of city highlights, it gave us the best of both worlds. We even hiked to Victoria Peak for sunrise, which was an unforgettable experienceâbreathtaking views and a peaceful morning walk that made the trip extra special.
đ The staff deserve a special shoutout. Every encounter was met with genuine kindness and helpfulnessâthey went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for throughout our stay.

GGuest UserI had seen a few negative reviews about this place, so I was apprehensive at first, but was extremely happy with the establishment. Location was great, only a few minutes walk from the main train stations, rooms were tight, but very sufficient, good for Hong Kong, staff were very friendly and helpful, the bathroom facilities were also very good. If travelling back to Hong Kong, will definitely return here.
The negative reviews I had seen were about size of the rooms, and noise from the city etc. Sure the rooms aren't as large as you would find in some suburban hotel in the USA, but for Hong Kong they were very sufficient. Air conditioning was very good, cranked up to coldest temperature and the highest fan setting felt like I was in a (lovely) blizzard compared to the heat and humidity outside. The noise levels were also very acceptable, city noise was no more than I would expect, and the noises from guests arriving late or getting up early was very minimal. The only really audible noise was from people in the hallways, but I have experienced this noise coming under the door from even super luxurious hotels, I normally dampen the sound by putting a towel against the door.

Great location. There is a short walk and some stairs from the metro, so keep that in mind if you're walking with luggage.
Towels are thin disposable ones. Not bad but some might not like them.
Slightly musty smell when I just entered but understandable given the size and layout.
Room was clean, sheets were clean, bed was comfy.
The AC is kind of loud, but again, understandable.
Water pressure in the shower was great.
Got a coffee tumbler for 60 HKD and got a free coffee. Not a bad deal.
Overall I'd stay here again.
