First time used self check in hostel… no support there for beginner… very difficult … hotel need to mark all these guidelines on entrance or at least installed some system… Rest was ok…

Very good location in that it is near a lot of shops, stores, and restaurants. Third place that I moved to had water which I was able to refill my bottle, which I really liked. I didn't like how the owner kept moving me around to 2 different other places besides my own place. I didn't like how the owner was being a little too pushy when she was trying to move me to her other places. I was a little irritated by her doing that to me unexpectedly and trying to hurry me to move my things off of the bed and get me to her next room. It was inconvienient for me in that I had to repack my stuff and move and unpack again. It was bad timing for me in that I was getting ready to take a shower in the first room after being all hot and sticky and uncomfortable. Bad timing also when I was in the 2nd room when I was busy looking at my next place that I plan to stay at next and was busy making the reservation, when she came in to move me the 2nd time and was a little pushy about it. I was irritated by this but yet at the same time felt a little sorry for her probably having to do this to get maximum efficiency out of all of her rooms that she owns in these buildings probably due to needing more money to keep up with the high living costs in Hong Kong. Life must be pretty tough in having to work real hard there.

Before I book , I would expect that I might get strange condition while staying male dormitory. I NEVER come again. It is just like a nightmare experience. Because the room is supposed to be smoking free. However, the host admits she has no choice when I try to report the situation. It is better for the host to well manage when the new guest comes in and understand the room with smoking free penalty. The washroom seems to be tidy but the guests are very random in manner. No supply for toilet paper till next morning. The condition of the bed seems not very good. I feel uncomfortable while sleeping. I hope trip com user must take serious before booking for a stay.

Conveniently located at the central Mong Kok region which has easy access to hk and Lantau islands. public transport like metro and bus are 5-10 yards away. Though the room size is small but the space is very well managed to handle all your activities. The washroom and room is extremely and regularly well cleaned. Staff and owner are well behaved and come out of their way to help.

The room has an unpleasing smoking smell, bed is dirty. No sound proof. You get what you paid for. Mongkok area is a bit messy, the building is old and run down, seem like all kinds of people are staying there.

I have been to Hong Kong many times and unfortunately there is always a problem with accommodation (firstly, I did not find this hostel right away as it is located in a building with many other hostels and there was not even a sign, a local elevator operator helped me figure it out with the address in Chinese, secondly, the owner sent me to another floor and gave me the password only for the room but did not say that there was another common door with a password, where she did not give the password for the door code and it was already late, a local girl helped again by calling the hotel number, I found her by chance while running around the floor, thirdly, there were no toiletries or towels in the room and it was night, I was able to ask for a towel only in the morning, fourthly, there were small cockroaches, it smelled of dampness and humidity, it was dark and not very pleasant to sleep. It's good that I only stayed for two nights as there were no other options and I booked at a tight deadline. I'm unlikely to come back here again.

The hotel is in a good location, close to Mong Kok MTR station, with many restaurants and grocery stores around, many choices, good room facilities, plenty of hot water in the bathroom, shower gel and shampoo, a hair dryer, drinking water, very convenient, but no blackout curtains, the air conditioner can not be turned on! Needs improvement!

In general, Hong Kong hostels are similar. It's similar to Southeast Asian hostels, but the prices are high. ㅎㅎ I wonder if I'll ever travel to Hong Kong again.
