Location is good. Very helpful staff and polite. However room is old and not so clean.

The room is okay. The layout is a bit strange. Everything else is okay. The breakfast is rich.

The hotel is well located, near Ben Thanh market. The street is quiet in the evening and restaurants and bars are close too. The sheets were not very new but for this price you can't ask too much. Very nice receptionist.

It was good because it was located near famous attractions.

It's a small, chic hotel in a top location for little money - the air conditioning didn't work properly, only one socket in the bathroom, cleanliness was okay - when we arrived there was an empty bottle on the cupboard and it wasn't until the second day that it was wiped with a broom …okay for one night

There is only Jang Jam near Ben Thanh Market.

stayed here for three nights,from 29 Nov to 1 Dec this year.it is the third hotel i stayed during my trip to HCM city .the room i stayed can see the famous Bitexco Financial Tower, although it was blocked by another high building,still a nice view.especially in the morning,when you wake up,you will see that iconic buliding, you will feel better. the room is quite big,it has a TV,a fridge, there is also a sitting place with sofa. the price room is affordable, so it is great value for money. bathroom is clean, they provide toiletries and free mineral water.but on the third day,cuz i didnt ask for room service,so no one replace new bottled water,not sure if they provide one time only. i didn’t buy breakfast when i booked the room,also not sure if they have breakfast or not,cuz i see the breakfast menu in the room,but didnt see restaurant at the hotel. maybe they have breakfast before the pandemic.anyway, the hotel closed to Ben thanh market ,so many eateries around the hotel, not a big issue. staffs at the counter is helpful and friendly, a female staff good at speaking English,i did laundry with the help of her,and the price is affordable.there is another male staff,he is also helpful, though he cant speak good English,still do his best to serve me,like when i checked out, he helped me to take my heavy luggages out of the hotel, many thanks for him. staying at Calmette hotel is calm and quiet. highly recommended!

We’ve been in this hotel for a couple of days, and it has been perfect for our necessities. Really nice and clean room, the hotel is located near the center and the market, so you’ll have all the facilities by you. Kim, the receptionist who took care of us, was the most lovely and caring person we met! She helped us with all the transports and tours, resolved every problem we had and she really puts her heart in what she does and it shows. Super recommended! Thank you again Kim, we hope to see you soon!

Lovely hotel near Ben Thanh market. Stayed on the 5th floor which was reasonably quiet, the room was very clean …toilet, shower, aircon all in excellent condition. The front of house staff and cleaning staff were very friendly and polite will definitely stay here again.

I had a great stay here at this hotel. My room was quite clean, moderately spacious with an amazing view of HCMC. The staff was amazing, very helpful, efficient and kind. Good wifi, small fridge and safety box. Lots of good local restaurants around. I totally enjoyed my stay at Calmette Hotel and would definitely stay their again.

The owner/manager of this property is the worst person son I have even met. I rated them 6/10 on booking and they have been abusing me continuously since then. These kind of people don’t belong in the hospitality industry

Stayed at this hotel as family of 4 for 2 nights at end of June. Had gone to this hotel as the primary hotel we booked in Saigon said that they are overbooked and can’t let us stay (more on this in another review)! Very good accomodation in this category. Hotel has moderately spacious rooms, clean bathrooms and good location (5 mins walk from Bui Vien and Ben Thanh, 15 mins walk from Saigon Opera area, around the corner from a well recommended Pho place!). The hotel rooms use bamboo items (almirah, light fixtures etc) extensively, and if you like that kind of thing, it’s a very interesting look. Would be happy to stay there again.
