The beds and other amenities were clean, but the hotel felt a little old. I was planning to fly to Vietnam the next morning, so it was convenient that the hotel was only a 30-minute walk from the border. One of the panels in the shower room's ceiling was missing, which made me a little scared that something might fall, but other than that, the facilities were reasonably priced. I had requested a 7am check-out, but no one was there, so I left my key there and checked out, which bothered me a little.

This is a self-built hotel with only a few rooms per floor. We stayed on the fifth floor, and I wonder if there are any rooms above.
Cleanliness: It's acceptable, simple and clean.
Area: There's a small shop downstairs, and plenty of barbecue restaurants are convenient for late-night snacks. It's about a kilometer from the customs and Old Vietnam Town, making it a great place to walk along the river in the morning or evening when it's not too hot.

We decided to renew because we liked the hotel. However, the facilities are very basic. For a one or two night stay it is fine.
