Family-friendly Hotels in Hekou

A very old hotel. The facilities are a bit old. The location is very good. But the price/performance ratio is not as good as before. The services and facilities of the surrounding hotels of the same price are much better than this one. The service is not as good as before. The waiter's response speed is OK, but the attitude is always sullen. There are many people gathered in the lobby, standing or sitting, smoking, speaking the local dialect and chatting loudly. I have stayed in this hotel before and felt good, but this time the contrast is very big. I feel that the management and service are obviously not as good as before. I don't recommend it.

The stay was all good but the bottled water provided within the room likely had been filled up with tap water. I became so sick when consuming it on the train. I only drank water that day. And after being so sick (vomiting and becoming super sweaty) it only became worse as I drank more of that bottled water.

The beauty of Hekou is all given by this hotel. It’s too hot, too hot, and I don’t want to go anywhere, so staying in the hotel is the most comfortable! The breakfast is so delicious, the best breakfast in Honghe state these days! There are not many types, but the most important thing is that they are all delicious!

The hotel hardware is impeccable. I am planning to compare it with Beijing Jianguo Hotel. As a result, I checked the information and it was just related to Beijing Jianguo Hotel. Then the quality of this hotel is needless to be described. Here is a little episode: the takeaway at the ** point was not received, called the rider, and replied that it had been placed on the front desk takeaway table. Go to get it, no. So the hotel called for monitoring and found that the guest in another room took it away. The hotel staff found this room with me and they were enjoying it. We asked if we got the wrong takeaway? They replied that they ordered dumplings and found cooking after opening them, but they didn't know who to contact and started eating. I taught them a way: ”I can't find the owner in the future, but I can contact the front desk.” The final solution was that they paid me for takeaway ordering. From this, I would like to mention two points: ① The hotel's monitoring is still working. I hope to continue or further strengthen monitoring, especially takeaway delivery desk monitoring. ② If takeaways are not allowed to be delivered to the room, then the hotel is best to purchase robots and use robots to deliver meals, so as to avoid multiple takeaways concentrated on the table, and be deliberately or unintentionally taken wrongly.

Friends traveling with me said that this is probably the most upscale high-end hotel in Hekou. It clearly embodies the Chinese style on the Sino-Vietnamese border. They call it a declaration of sovereignty, hahaha. The room was clean and hygienic, without any dampness and very comfortable. The reception service at the front desk is good and there are many breakfast options. I will stay here when I come to Hekou in the future!
