"Very homely hotel. Modern rooms with a traditional German style restaurant room. Very original.
Our room did not have coffee making facilities but hotel offered complimentary coffee from the restaurant. No minibar or fridge"

"A very bad experience. I checked into the hotel on the night of January 30, 25. After checking in, I took a door card to a nearby supermarket to buy some snacks. When I came back, I was absent-mindedly looking at my phone and accidentally swiped the door of the next room. Shockingly, the door card of my room actually swiped the door of the other room. An Indian man in the room and I looked at each other, and then explained the whole story. We were extremely shocked. I apologized and left.
Because we had traveled a long way, we were very tired that night and only stayed for one night. We left the next morning. And it was our door card that swiped the door of the next room. I didn’t know how to complain to the hotel at the time, so I used the suitcase and stool to block the door that night. I didn’t know if someone else’s door card could open our door. I drove away early the next morning."

"This is one of the few privately owned five-star hotels in Europe. It is indeed a five-star hotel in terms of rooms, services, breakfast, etc. The room is European style, simple and comfortable, and it is worth experiencing. A room for 3 people can have an extra bed, which is a wall bed, which is relatively rare. It was a surprise on this trip to Europe."
"Facilities: Facilities are very good, breakfast is on the second floor
Hygiene: This is not good evaluation. Very good, except for a small bug crawling on my hand, maybe because I live near the road and the beach and the floor is low.
Environment: very good Although small, beautiful scenery and unique location
Service: The front desk is very, very cute"
"The hotel is right next to Heidelberg University and parking is very convenient.
Breakfast is simple, but it feels good
I opened the window in the room where I could see the church, and I was woken up by the bell of the church's holy gods early in the morning"
"The room is quite unique, with inner and outer suites, both with 1.2-meter single beds, and the inner room has two single beds put together. This is the first time I have done a purely self-service check-in. A little noisy near the aisle.
Luggage can be stored, but it's on the second floor of the elevator. It's the first time I saw an elevator door that needs to be opened manually, haha. A nice little hotel.
It's a 10-15 minute walk from the city of Heidelberg. It's recommended to take an Uber for $6-7 to the castle."
"Dener hotel was very good. You can walk around. The tram and buses are leaving near the hotel. The river is very close. You find yourself on the streets where you have historic houses.
There is no lift. There is a very nice seat in the room. I wish it had a chair. No sac dryer. The room is clean and comfortable. We were very happy. We will try to come back."
"Hotel front desk service is very good. It is a very old hotel, the key we used feels like the 18th century. Most rooms have terraces. It feels like a typical German country-style hotel with a good view around. It is about 10 minutes drive from the King Lake boat ride and about 30-40 minutes walk.
The bed is soft and the bathroom is small."

Amazing
HHelen RenTo be honest ,I have to say that I will back it again! That’s the best one hostel in my trip experience until now. The staff and I think who is owner of the hostel so so so nice 👍.She prepared everything for you and you will just like at home. Free oat for everyone and I was impressed by the cozy decorations. The location is good for visiting any sightseeings and nearby the station of telpher. That is a awesome hostel and I will book it again to enjoy Heidelberg castle 🏰.
WWKrisBreakfast: Amazing food, view from breakfast was the highlight
Room: Stayed for several nights, had sparkling water free bottle for first day, but water was not provided for the remaining days. I ended up boiling water with the coffee machine and had water with coffee taste for those days, because there were no kettles. If you like coffee, this would perfect though. Overall, would still highly recommend the hotel despite the ”coffee water”.
Noise: Very quiet and peaceful. I noted some comments said it was loud, but I couldn't hear any train sound. Great for business trip.
SShuk YiThe location is superb - Heidelberg Central station is practically next door (3 mins on foot). The hotel is very new and has an open plan in the lobby and breakfast area - appeals to the young travellers. True to the German style, the craftsmanship and design in the room are well thought-through. Everything you need for a long or short stay is there in the room. We don't need daily cleaning services, so that's fine with us, much better that way to save water and detergents. Breakfast is good, too with a nice wide spread of choices of juices, hot drinks, continental bread, cold cuts. We had 2 encounters (couldn't figure out how to use the cooker and hair-dryer) with the staff and they are really efficient and helpful.
GGuest UserThe whole hotel looks old, and the bathroom door in the room can't be closed. The air conditioning has problems—it's constantly cold, and there is no heating. However, the front desk staff and restaurant service personnel are relatively friendly. The breakfast selection is also quite rich. However, compared to four-star hotels in Taiwan, the facilities here seem outdated. Taiwan’s hotels are newer and cleaner, and the food selection is also more abundant.
SSyarifah NurulWe booked this hotel last minute to visit Heidelberg, we are in shock when we go to the room because the room are well prepared & its cold! have aircond in it! We love all things in the room. all well. room with balcony, aircond, smart home functions, big flat tv with nexflix, coffee machine, kitchen & utensils. its complete like a studio house. The receptionist also so friendly. there is mistakes from Trip.Com state check out time at 12 but actually is at 11. then we not ready because we think the time was at 12. then they came & gave us time to check out. all so good for sure we will come again to this hotel.
GGuest UserPros: good location, right next to the train station, relatively clean, good breakfast
Cons: expensive, no bottled water, had to run out to buy water in the middle of the night
MMAll in all, not a terrible stay. When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer.
It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times.
AAnonymous UserNon-24-hour front desk, self-check-in, very convenient. Check out is super simple, you can put your room card into the designated box. I wanted to leave my luggage here, but I needed to send a message to the hotel administrator, and the store announcement was posted on the back of the second door at the entrance. The room is clean and well equipped, and you need to bring your own slippers and toiletries.
GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is great, and the front desk people were nice too. But the facility was way below either the industry standard or our expectation - the knob of the shower was falling down, the curtain was also falling down and could not close; the reading light switch had no handle; and the shower drainage was blocked (see the photos) ---- shockingly this is in Germany!! Very, Very disappointed.
