Heidelberg Hotels with Wifi

"All in all, not a terrible stay. When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer. It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times."

"It is necessary to keep the window closed when using the air conditioning, as the system is designed to prevent outside air from affecting the room’s temperature. In our initial room, the window was broken and could not be closed, so the air conditioning did not work. The hotel staff quickly took action and changed our room. Thank you very much."

"The hotel facilities are relatively new. The central air conditioner is very comfortable. It is in line with the four-star standard. The location is also very close to the university. It is surrounded by libraries and schools. The price is relatively high. No breakfast is provided. Parking fee is 8 Euro."

"Non-24-hour front desk, self-check-in, very convenient. Check out is super simple, you can put your room card into the designated box. I wanted to leave my luggage here, but I needed to send a message to the hotel administrator, and the store announcement was posted on the back of the second door at the entrance. The room is clean and well equipped, and you need to bring your own slippers and toiletries."

"The whole hotel looks old, and the bathroom door in the room can't be closed. The air conditioning has problems—it's constantly cold, and there is no heating. However, the front desk staff and restaurant service personnel are relatively friendly. The breakfast selection is also quite rich. However, compared to four-star hotels in Taiwan, the facilities here seem outdated. Taiwan’s hotels are newer and cleaner, and the food selection is also more abundant."

"Breakfast: Amazing food, view from breakfast was the highlight Room: Stayed for several nights, had sparkling water free bottle for first day, but water was not provided for the remaining days. I ended up boiling water with the coffee machine and had water with coffee taste for those days, because there were no kettles. If you like coffee, this would perfect though. Overall, would still highly recommend the hotel despite the ”coffee water”. Noise: Very quiet and peaceful. I noted some comments said it was loud, but I couldn't hear any train sound. Great for business trip."

"The room is quite unique, with inner and outer suites, both with 1.2-meter single beds, and the inner room has two single beds put together. This is the first time I have done a purely self-service check-in. A little noisy near the aisle. Luggage can be stored, but it's on the second floor of the elevator. It's the first time I saw an elevator door that needs to be opened manually, haha. A nice little hotel. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the city of Heidelberg. It's recommended to take an Uber for $6-7 to the castle."

"This was the most satisfying hotel of my trip to Germany. It's conveniently located next to the train station and right next to the bus stop, and the soundproofing is excellent. I stayed on the side facing the train station, and with the windows closed, I couldn't hear any train noise. The decor is new, and the beds are quite comfortable. The only downside is that the single bed and kitchen are in the same room, which can disturb the person in the single bed if they have to cook in the morning. A partition between the single bed and the dining area would be much better. The toilet and washroom are separate, which is convenient for use during rush hour. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, a microwave, and a stove. The only drawback is that the appliances are complicated to use; it took me a while to figure out how to cook. Overall, although the space isn't large, it's small but perfectly formed and cleverly designed. I would suggest a few improvements: firstly, the countertop under the entryway mirror should be large enough to hold a hairdryer; the countertop is too small. A small railing or shelf could be added. Secondly, a partition could be added between the kitchen and the small bedroom. Everything else is perfect."

"Perfect stay! The hotel is ideally located just 150 meters from the main train station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. It’s also close to a variety of cafes, restaurants, and even a tourist information center. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the breakfast was absolutely superb with a great selection. Highly recommended!"

"Traveling for business. A better choice than my previous stay at a hotel behind the Heidelberg bahnof station. It was out of my expectation that the room includes a bathtub. Very nice and smiley staff makes one feel truly welcomed. Ample parking space. Fair selection of foods for breakfast. I would most certainly choose Leonardo Hotel Heidelberg when I return to this city."
