This place is really beautiful. And it's close to Xiang Lake which I think is worth visiting besides the famous West Lake. We had a very comfortable stay there. Rooms are clean n spacious. But their central warming system turned the place really warm during the night. So much so we have to open the window to let cold air in to cool the room. The air conditioning can't cool it down enough. For service I'll give it 4 stars given this is 5 star hotel. So I have higher expectation. The counter staff when we checked in that night did not give a good first impression. She wasn't rude n in fact was courteous in her words but I couldn't feel it in her tone or body language, something like coming out of a robot. I felt that in other service staff in other places too. But fortunately the other staff we encountered the next day wasn't like this. We can feel the warmth in their tone. And the next day during breakfast, there is no service at all. No one to bring us to the table. No one to clear our table. Nor anyone asked if we want any drink. The two staff in the restaurant stick together n stand around a pillar n will move together once in a while to clear tables after a table left. Otherwise they will stand there chatting. So, except a little service lapses, this hotel is definitely worth staying when you are in Hangzhou.

Amazing hotel, I really recommend to visit this hotel. I stayed in many 5 star hotels, but this one is very unique. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was also very tasty. But one thing I cant really understand, why in the land of tea they serve the cheapest tea during breakfast. They offer only Twings Tea in a tea bag, instead of some nice Chinese Tea....

Amazing resort, this is the most beautiful resort i have ever been. Whenever you look, everything is beautiful, it is like painting. Location is a bit remote, but it is perfect for us who came to relax. The lake is also beautiful and peaceful, not touristy and crowded place. We have a great time walking around the lake with our daughter. The staff in this hotel are all very helpfull. And i want to say thank you to Ida, the staff who came to fix our TV. We wanted to try some local food and it was night already and our daughter was tires, but we were having trouble ordering food in Mei Tuan because we don't have chinese phone number. Ida helped us trying to figure out how, even ordered and delivered it for us. Thank you for the help, Ida ! Once is not enough, we will definitely back to this resort again !!

Love every bit of this hotel, from the exterior to customer service. Would highly recommend this if you want to get away from the city. Our family spend a lot of time in the hotel, there is complimentary steamboat, outdoor hot spring, daily activities and the beautiful lake nearby.

Very beautiful and private hotel, away from the touristy area. Just beside a lake which is great for a slow stroll around + sunset view and it’s not overly crowded. Concierge is very helpful whenever we arrive or leave the hotel by cab. We also got a room upgrade for a bigger room, enjoyed the space v much (thank you!) Gym is very nicely decorated and maintained with a nice garden view. Hotel lobby is gorgeous. Only complaint is that the playroom does not feel v clean/well maintained (there was a used tissue near the sandpit that was still there the next day) - v stark contrast to the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was decent, enjoyed the scallion oil noodle at the noodle station

I think this is the best hotel in the world, seriously, it's amazing! I never saw such extraordinary place. It's beautiful with the lake and all the mountains surrounding it, the park near by looks like a painting. The service was impeccable. However. I would be at least a bit more happy if they would've given me some retreat for my luggage's wheel that the guy from the hotel has broken. It was a new luggage, not expensive at all but I had a tremendous issue having to walk around with it and then buying another one in Shanghai to throw that away... I would've expected at least the attempt to replace it from a hotel of that rank. Not even a cup of tea to say sorry. I mean, as I said, it was an amazing experience therel and I strongly recommend, that was the only thing I wished would be better as a costumer.

Thankful for the upgrade. Huge place, but the lake within reach is making this area amazing. ❤️

Everything was so perfect. The service was impeccable from the front desk to the concierge. We got our room upgraded by Roike. The location is perfect and just 10 mins walk to the closet ferry pier. The room was quiet, clean and we enjoyed the bar area a lot. It offers another choice of quiet stay and enjoy a perfect getaway on Xianghu, which is away from the hustle and bustle in Xihu. I will definitely come back next spring and try their villas.

Amazing lake view from the room balcony and the room is spacious. The hot bath, complementary photo taking and nearby lake scenery have create so much great memories during my family stay.
