For our two-day weekend trip to Hangzhou, which featured Longjing Gorge Rafting and the Daming Mountain Cliff Park, we booked this guesthouse, and our overall experience was exceptional.
Ambiance: Among the many rural guesthouses, this one stood out as particularly fresh and tastefully designed. The courtyard next to the stream was beautifully maintained, featuring a swing, lounge chairs, a tree platform, a small bridge over flowing water, as well as fun activities like foosball and archery.
Facilities: We booked two suites. Upon entering, to the left was the living room and shower room, and to the right, the bedroom and restroom. Personally, I'd suggest adding a projector in the living room for an even cozier experience.
Service: We connected with the owner on WeChat through the platform's contact details. Not only did we get discounted tickets for the Daming Mountain scenic area (150 RMB per person), but they also drove us to the shuttle bus station. All their services were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. When we returned to the guesthouse with our BBQ in the evening, they even provided iced beer and peanuts. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious and hearty breakfast. As a parting gift, they gave us homegrown sweet potatoes and homemade bread slices. Highly, highly recommend!

The room was spotless, and being a suite, our kids absolutely loved it. The hotel's location was fantastic! Right outside, you can wade in the water and try to catch small fish. The scenery was breathtaking, and at night, we saw countless stars. The next day, we visited Daming Mountain. The owner even drove us to the shuttle pick-up point, which was literally only a minute's drive away – incredibly convenient! The owner provided superb service; he helped us book tickets and even carried our luggage! The kids also really enjoyed the drinks prepared by the owner's wife! They even treated us to some homemade snacks, which was such a thoughtful gesture!

We stayed at a B&B at the foot of Daming Mountain during our trip, and it was surprisingly good! The owner, born in the 80s, has recently renovated the B&B, and the design is very stylish. Our rooms were incredibly spacious, and one even had a living room. We booked two rooms, one on the second floor and another on the fourth. Since there's no elevator, the owner kindly helped us carry our luggage up. Right next to the B&B, there's a stream where kids can safely play in the water. The breakfast spread was quite generous, and we even had dinner there one evening. The owner's mother cooked up some fantastic homemade dishes; they tasted absolutely delicious! I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Daming Mountain! 👍 Oh, and a quick tip: you can ask the owner to help you book Daming Mountain tickets, as they can get you a discount!

Absolutely loved our stay! Our family room was perfect, allowing our child to sleep independently. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. They also serve meals on-site, and the hostess's cooking was absolutely fantastic, with a very pleasant dining atmosphere. It was a pity that I got injured skiing and had to cut our trip short, but the owner was so caring and even helped look after our child during that time. They also prepared some road trip snacks for us when we left. We'll definitely be back next year!
