Elegant Menxi Villa is a peaceful escape in the West Lake scenic area. The views are stunning, the staff were so helpful, and the room had a massive bathtub perfect for unwinding. A beautiful, relaxing stay surrounded by nature.

The location is perfect for short and long hikes. The territory is green and well maintained. In rainy season I would recommend a room with a balcony, because it is very humid in the mountains and good ventilation is required. I really like an electric fireplace in the room.

Amazing place to stay

Great little hide away hotel for a couple's weekend. Loved the hottub! Loved the view from the balcony. Loved the hiking trails all around the hotel. Great romantic spot for a couple.

A large homestay in Jiuxi, with a good location. Sitting in the restaurant for breakfast or afternoon tea is full of green. The breakfast is mainly Chinese, and it is quite rich. There are many tea choices for afternoon tea, as well as coffee, snacks, fruits and dried fruits. The staff are very enthusiastic, and the room service is responsive and delivered immediately. The homestay is very quiet, the glass is soundproof, and even the birds can't be heard in the morning. There are mosquitoes in summer, and liquid mosquito coils, traditional mosquito coils, floral water, and screen doors are all available. Because there is no elevator, the staff are very proactive in helping with luggage. Going to Jiuxi Yanshu and Longjing Village to play, just walk there, have breakfast and take a walk, come back to wash and change clothes, have afternoon tea and rest before going out, which is very suitable. Before leaving, the front desk specially gave a small gift from Lingyin Temple

It's been a long time since I wrote a good review. To be honest, it was a very disappointing stay. The location of the hotel is good, but you need to report your license plate number to the front desk when you take a taxi. Otherwise, you can't drive in and have to walk for five to ten minutes. I hope that first-time travelers can be informed of this. As for the sanitation of the room, it is understandable that there is a lot of dust because you are staying in the mountains, but as for this private soup, I hope it can still be simply cleaned and disinfected. Manxinfu, which is of the same price, does a great job in this regard. Even if we put a sign to inform guests that we have done the cleaning, we will feel more at ease. The hotel facilities are slightly old. As can be seen in the picture, the room lighting is dim, the carpet is dirty, the toilet can even be moved but it is not flat, and the refrigerator is stuffed in a strange cabinet. It is so uneven that it becomes difficult to open the door. The refrigerator is not powered and the switch cannot be found. The air conditioner in the hotel is also very noisy, which greatly affects sleep in the middle of the night. The balcony view is good, but the facilities are really broken. I don’t know why our room doesn’t have a parasol, but other rooms in the row have one. The canopy also has holes. It happened to rain on the day I checked in, causing the tables and chairs to be wet and unable to be used. To be honest, the service of the hotel this time made people feel relatively warm. Because it is built on the mountain, the hotel is full of steps. The hotel staff will help you carry the box together. But!!! There is no light on the steps when you return to the room at night!!! You can’t see anything when you return to the room in the middle of the night, and you can’t use a flashlight with your things!!! The steps are also slippery, and you keep tripping. It’s really a bad experience. To be fair, I hope the hotel can improve it so that the travelers who stay there will have a better experience.

It is very close to Jiuxi Shibajian, right inside, and you can take a shuttle bus. It is very comfortable to walk to Jiuxi Yanshu in the morning. The environment of the villa is very good, the service is also very good, the room is also very large, and the room type is upgraded for free. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the taste is OK. The only shortcoming is the pool. There will be noise when the water is used in the room downstairs or upstairs, which is a bit noisy in the morning and evening.
