Amazing hotel A little walk from the train station but still convenient

The Barcelo is located about 5 minutes walk from the main train station but in a quiet area. The rooms themselves are very clean, ultra modern and elegantly decorated in light colours. The bed is very comfortable and the shower and bathroom facilities were excellent. Having a laptop sized safe is also extremely convenient. The only downside is that I found the corridors very dark and dimly lit - I assume this is for environmental reasons - but as a lone female traveller it made me feel a bit uneasy

It's close to the central station and easy to get to, and the rooms are spacious and clean, so I'm very satisfied. The staff were friendly and I had a great time. I'd like to stay here again.

The team at reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I got my room at 11am. Great lighting, thick towels, quiet room, everything very clean. Unfortunately it was raining, so I could hear raindrops on the aluminum (outside the room, on the window) all the time. Even though it wasn't raining. OK during the day, terrible at night. But with earplugs I was able to sleep well. I will definitely come back.

Great hotel, spacious rooms, nice in the center, close to the metro and the Christmas markets. Parked in the city park 150 m away because you could make a reservation there and not in the hotel parking lot, upstairs with a 3-day offer that was also cheap. Also within walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof (ICE).
