Very beautiful and good, the room is super big, worthy of being an old hotel, but the bathroom is not decorated. If the staff can communicate better, I will be more satisfied

There is nothing amazing about it. The room is just big. Many reviews have basically written about it. Kaiseki is not as good as expected, but it has become a deduction for me. If the full score is 100, I think it will be 80 points for this stay. After all, the price did not meet my expectations!

During my stay, there was a large insect stuck to the wall of the hot spring in the room. Fortunately, the hotel staff quickly helped to deal with it. The hot springs are top notch.

The room is clean and the scenery is pleasant. Although the meals do not include beef, pig, and mutton dishes, you will be full. The public hot spring is great. Not only do you have drinks, but there are also popsicles to eat. There is a lack of shuttle bus. You have to catch the bus down the mountain when you check out. , a bit of a fly in the ointment

Compared with other hot spring hotels, the circle is more formatted, and the standard of dinner seems to be not as high as before.

The price and service did not match. I booked two rooms and got the wrong number of people in the room when I checked in. Not typical Japanese service, the hotel staff seem to be interns. The hotel is located in the mountains, so it is inconvenient without a car. Meal food

On the day of departure, the taxi couldn’t get any better, so I had to drag my suitcases and walk to the bus stop.

The room was on the first floor, dark, damp and musty. You need to go to a restaurant to eat, not a Japanese-style hot spring hotel in the traditional sense.

A nice stay in a great setting. We moved to Kai Hakone after a mistake with their sister hotel nearby… I have to stay the hotel itself is certainly dated in comparison to its sister, Kai Sengokurha. The room Itself was fine, clean and traditional Japanese. Although it had a very distinct wooden smell which was tough to get used to! A lovely view from the hotel and a great in room massage! The onsen is STUNNING. Way better than the one at Kai Senkogkura and the best one we have found in Japan. It truly is in an incredibly peaceful setting and I was very impressed! The food was also better that its sister and the staff couldn’t do any more for you!

Staying here is a once in a lifetime cultural experience! This is not for you if you are looking for a traditional western hotel but come with an open mind and have the most relaxing stay of your life. The rooms were large and peaceful in traditional Japanese style. The bed was supremely comfortable and we slept with the porch door open so we could hear the river running below us. We love our kaiseki meal for dinner and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There is no room service here so if you are a late night snacker bring something. The absolute highlight of the stay was the onsen. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The hotel was full but both times I visited I was lucky to be the only person for at least part of my soak. We stayed here the last night of our Japan trip and it was a perfect relaxing end to our trip! We absolutely loved our visit and cannot wait to visit more onsen ryokans.
