Cat Ba Paradise Hotel - Sky Bar & Massage Reviews

The location was good. The view in the pictures no longer exist. There is a huge construction happening in front of the hotel over the next few years as there is a big resort opening and theme park construction right in front of that strip that will block the gorgeous view of the bay unfortunately. But aside from that, it was nice to be close to everything and the rooms were clean.

I Was really looking forward to our stay here. The mature receptionist was quite unpleasant and unwelcoming. Reminded me of Chinese hotels of 20 years ago. The younger staff were much more amicable and friendly. Charged us 200,000d for a lost card key. Very clean and large beds but sadly not worth the extra for the view of the building site in front.

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. But pool was cloudy. Arranged transportation back to Hanoi price was good but description of service was inaccurate. 

Good location. Huge bed. Disappointed it did not let customers know of the construction work in front of the hotel. Only reason I booked this hotel and the specific room was for the view of the bay which is hugely disrupted by the construction.

We checked in during the Têt holidays, so I presume some staff were on holidays, there was only one person at the reception desk. The room we had was a twin room but they gathered the 2 beds to make a very large bed, but by doing that, it makes the circulation around the bed not convenient at all, and the plugs put in weird spots. And there was not enough plugs in the room. The fridge in the room was making so much noise that I needed to sleep with earplugs. The breakfast was decent. The last day, because there were not enough people in the hotel I presume, we took are breakfast in the café. There was no notice board at the breakfast room entrance, neither any apology. There is a big construction site in front of the hotel, the sea view is a bit wasted. Good location in Cat Ba town though.

The hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong.

Great little hotel with a beautiful view over the bay. Staff is very friendly and helped us arrange a lot of activities and transportation

Beautiful hotel not too far from Cat Ba 3 beach. Delicious buffet breakfast and very helpful staff that will organise any day trip for you.

The room is clean and quiet. The receptionists are accommodating and helpful.

It was a one week after typhoon, the location was a bit destroyed. But this hotel saved our vacations. The pool on the roof isn't worked while we stay due to typhoon

It was fine. Staff at the pool bar were very friendly. The sunset was spectacular. Food wasn’t great though. Overall, very good

Perfect stay

So🤔, Well-located hotel. View from the room and the pool nearby. Except, there's major construction going on for a hotel complex across the bay😱 So, no more beach and no more sea access!!! Not to mention the noise from the construction from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.!! The receptionist is unsmiling 🥴. The foot and body massages are rather painful!!! There's a man who masters massages perfectly, but he's alone!!! Lack of qualified staff! The breakfast is average, the fruit juices with sugar syrup and flavor enhancers 😱. The sheets still haven't been changed after 4 days! Pool side. Top notch!!! Too bad because there's potential to do better

Only the lobby and the exterior are OK. The so-called sea view rooms no longer have sea views. The front is under construction. No one responded to the phone calls and emails before the trip. There is a travel agency desk at the front desk. You can book a half-day or full-day tour. The price is a bit expensive. There are no facilities in the room. There are small insects. My daughter and I were bitten by unknown insects. We couldn't sleep well at night and our whole bodies were itchy. I finally believed other people's comments. The attractions are still OK. We chose hiking. It's enough to go here once. No need to go again.
