Hotels near Haikou Mosque, Haikou

I stayed at this hotel for three nights before heading to Sanya. I chose it because they offered free airport pickup and it’s only a 10-minute walk from Haikou East Rail Station (Haikoudong / 海口东). I wanted to be closer to the city rather than staying in the Meilan area near the airport. As a non-Chinese speaker, I relied mainly on Didi taxis to get around when visiting other parts of the city. Didi rides are inexpensive and convenient (Didi is integrated into my Alipay app). The hotel it’s located off a busy avenue with heavy traffic. There’s a small snack shop right next to the hotel. To the left, in the direction of the train station, there are a few small street food stalls, and to the right, a bit further away, there’s a wider selection of fast food shops. I didn’t explore if there were any proper restaurants in the area. The hotel has a coffee shop but I didn’t use. The airport pickup service was smooth and hassle-free. The hotel staff were very helpful when I needed assistance with a few things. Since I don’t speak Chinese, I used a translation tool. I found the bed very comfortable—though I prefer firm beds, so it suited me perfectly. There was also a choice of pillows with different thicknesses. As a light sleeper, I was pleasantly surprised by how well I slept, as there wasn’t much noise to disturb me. Overall, my stay was pleasant, but I did notice that the cleanliness could be improved. For example, there was a significant amount of dust under the bed. That said the common areas of the hotel seemed well- maintained.

Pros: Location is about 5mins walk from Haikou Railway station, spacious room, AI voice assistant. Cons: Room is damp, reception did mentioned during checkin and stated that it is due to room being at level 1 (for room type: discount double room). Secondly, there was slight leaking issue out of the shower room. Lastly, quite a number of mosquitoes, liquid electric repeller was provided. Also, the mirror light in my room was not working, since I was only staying one night and it doesn’t matter to me, I informed the staff and did not request for a change of room.

Neat and funky, modern with some techy stuff. Bed was very comfortable, pillow was less ideal but suffices. Big room and spacious rest area which I like. The sound proofing was pretty decent so you don't hear the train passing by or the traffic noise, that is until your neighbour speaks loudly (thankfully not for long) or if someones slams the door hard (esp if you are sleeping). Great black out curtains which open on its own when you remove the key from its space and closes when you're stick it in (think it depends on how you set it before you leave the room). Bathroom was also splendid. As was the nespresso coffee- great for waking me up. A very comfortable place of rest until the final night- we were told that the sensor malfunctioned, waking us up in the middle of the night- curtains opening on its own, air-conditioning suddenly switching off (no we didn't change any settings for that to happen), lights turning on all of a sudden. All good otherwise.

The room was clean and tidy, the aunt cleaned in time, the front desk service in the lobby was good, there were many dining and takeaways nearby, very close to the scenic spot, it was very convenient to buy souvenirs, I will definitely come again next time.

The location of this Geffi Hotel is very good, less than two kilometers from Haikou East Station. There is a bus Fengxiang Villa Station more than 200 meters away from the door. It is also very convenient to take a taxi. There are often free taxis passing by the road at the door. It is often a few hundred meters away from the west to pick up the order. It is directly coming over and it is fast and convenient to get on the bus. There is a Shaxian snack bar and a northeast dumpling restaurant next to the downstairs. There is another Shaxian snack and other restaurants more than 100 meters away from the east. There are also restaurants across the road, which is convenient for eating. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The cleaning staff changed disposable slippers, toothbrushes, etc. almost every day. The cleaning was very diligent. The hotel's breakfast is very rich and tastes good. The front desk staff checked in and invoiced quickly. The hotel is not far from Wugong Temple, Hairui's former residence, Qiuqiu's former residence, Qiongtai Academy, Qiongtai Fudi and other attractions. The bus + walk is more than ten minutes.

The room is very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom and the shower room are separated into dry and wet areas. The air conditioning in the room is also very powerful. Each room type is equipped with a chair and table for dining and some writing operations. Overall, it is a very satisfactory stay. The room automation equipment is also very complete. The only drawback is that it may be due to the typhoon that just passed. I hope that the breakfast can be richer, in terms of snacks and drinks, to meet the breakfast needs of more customers.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a hotel with 24-hour check-in in Haikou. We checked in at 6pm and stayed until 6pm the next day! Butler-style free laundry service (5 pieces can be washed and returned), free drinks in the mini bar, scheduled airport and station drop-off service, outdoor swimming pool, gym, buffet breakfast. Overall, the experience is pretty good. I will still choose this hotel next time I come to play👍

The area is oversized, the lighting is excellent, and the furniture configuration is just right. The bathroom is cleverly separated from the bathing area and the washing area, and everything looks so clean and bright. Well organized. It may be due to the new opening. The breakfast room is not ready yet. It is equipped with KFC fast food, which is simple and affordable. Walk hundreds of meters from the hotel and come to a starry night market, seafood barbecue, fried pho, etc., which will make you full. In short, in a phrase summed up, the outside is awkward and the inside is beautiful. In a popular tourist city like Haikou, such a hotel at such a price should be excellent value for money.
