Great hotel and great staff. The rooms are very clean

The room is located on the fire escape, and it is the smallest I have stayed in in the Netherlands. It is advertised as 15 square meters, but in reality it is less than nine square meters. When you open the door, there is a bed. That's it. But I am quite satisfied with the five-star hotel next door.

The location of the hotel was great. We only had to walk across the street and we were on the beach. Unfortunately, the service was very bad. We were there at around 1 p.m. and asked if we could check in early. We were told no, but we understood that because we were two hours early. At 2:45 p.m. we went to reception with our suitcases and wanted to check in (in no other hotel so far has it been a problem to check in 15 minutes early). The lady was very annoyed and told us that we had to wait exactly 15 minutes. So at 2:58 p.m. we just walked to reception and the lady told us as we walked that we were still two minutes early! What a disgrace! I have never experienced anything like that before. When we finally managed to check in, we wanted to take the elevator up to our room. We had to wait another 10 minutes until the elevator came. It was also so tiny that the three of us and our three suitcases barely fit in. Our room had a great view from the balcony, but the mini fridge was broken, there was no coffee/tea maker and we didn't even have a wardrobe. The cleanliness was so-so. A little tip for those who come by car: the entrance is extremely narrow. We could just about fit through with our car (Q3) with the mirrors folded in. I wouldn't book this hotel again. For those who just need a place to sleep and for whom everything I mentioned above is unimportant, the hotel should be suitable due to its great location.

The location was good as it was right in front of the bus stop, and the windows rolled up a lot, which was nice, but there was no trash can in the room. So I got a plastic bag and threw it away. And the room I stayed in didn't close properly when closed from the outside. The staff were very friendly.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war sehr entspannend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und haben uns bei Fragen weiter geholfen.
