Very good location for snowboarding. Able to walk to and from the slopes. Staff always happy to help either booking taxi or helping with more pillows. Only negatives are coffee at breakfast time could be better, more room in the ski lockers for our snowboards and more boot warmers and keep in mind Japanese beds and pillows….. nonetheless enjoyed our stay in Furano and highly recommend. Used the gym, the Onsen and laundry services and highly recommend.

SShmileyIt is the best place to stay in Furano. The bus stop is in front of the Hostel (if you are coming by bus from Sapporo). It is located 5 Min walking distance from the train station. The lounge is huge. The kitchen is amazing and stuffed with everything what you need for cooking. The showers are perfect. For the girls there is an extra room next to the restrooms to get ready, do your Make-up and change. The privacy you get offered is wonderful. The cleanliness overall in this Hostel was absolutely a dream. The matres is perfect. You are going to sleep like a baby. Was one of the best during my stay in Japan. The Café of the hostel is super lovely. Loved my Café Latte. Big shout to all the receptionists. Super kind, lovely and always helpful. Especially Kozue made my stay wonderful. She is a sweetheart. Helped me with so many things and recommended to me the best local Onsen I could have asked for. Overall my stay was a 10/10. Definitely going to stay again here when I am back in Furano. Highly RECOMMENDED! :)

LLynn hk2nd time stayed at La vista furano and got little disappointed as this time the hotel was just way too packed with many tours and tourists from south east Asia countries. Check in was fast and smooth and front desk staff were helpful. I requested a high floor quiet room away from noisy elevators but got assigned a low floor room near elevators. The tourists were in big groups and could be rude and noisy. Breakfast and ramen time the dining hall was chaotic. The lobby gets chaotic and noisy too. Onsen was good but I was not able to use the private ones. Breakfast buffet got good qualities of food and seafood but again too crowded. Think better place to stay in summer than winter.

It is a beautiful hotel, with free flow of wine tasting and snacks in the evening. Fantastic breakfast spread. Free self service laundry. Great atmosphere for families. VVaganovaGreat location and service, couldn’t fault that. Helpful staff and literally across the road from the gondola. Great inclusions like afternoon tea with desert bar with nice selection of tasty deserts, ice cream and drinks in the evenings. Breakfast could be improved, great for those that like seafood, but not so great for more western food options. I am sure even in winter there are apples, bananas and other options rather than frozen fruits and pastry that comes in packages that lasts a few weeks or at least that is how pastry tasted. One of the kids only eats toast and eggs or pastry and milk for breakfast and couldn’t find anything to eat there. But my husband loved the buffet. Rooms are pretty outdated, so be mindful. Bathrooms haven’t had anything done to them since probably 80-90th, but it was clean and public bath was good. Restaurant was booked out for dinners for a week in advance (at least) when we checked in but it seemed like there is only one seating in general for dinner.

The convenience of the airport shuttle service was another major plus. It was punctual, well-maintained, and made our arrival and departure seamless. Traveling can sometimes be stressful, especially in winter conditions, but this service made it effortless.
For families, this hotel is an absolute gem. Our kids had an incredible time, from enjoying the cozy common areas to indulging in the delicious food. The dining experience was excellent, offering a variety of well-prepared dishes that catered to both adults and children. Every meal felt like a treat, with fresh ingredients and great flavors.
Beyond the hotel itself, the snowy surroundings added to the magic of our trip. Whether it was waking up to beautiful snow-covered views or simply enjoying the warm and inviting atmosphere indoors, it was a truly memorable experience.

The boss is very enthusiastic. Although he can't speak Chinese, there are staff who can speak English to introduce the facilities. The boss lives in the next room. After checking out, he just packs up his luggage and knocks on his door to see if anything is missing.

When you live in the upper bunk, you should pay attention to the head when you get confused.

WWee HianReally near to the train station, and room is clean and reasonable sized in Japanese norm. Breakfast is provided with Japanese and Western set of your choice. Bus stop to the ski resort is just across the street. The only complaint is limited choice of restaurants around but there are supermarkets nearby to buy food.

CChristopher ThiaFenix Furano was a quaint little hotel with little frills, but it suited us fine... we understood the green policy behind minimising housekeeping, and we are totally fine with in.
One downside is that they didn't have non-slip mats for the bathtub when you used it to shower. The body soap was very soapy and with the tub surface; making it a potential safety concern... and indeed, my elderly mum-in-law fell and hit her head.. she had a bump and some bleeding. We hope that the management looks into this for the safety of all guests.
Apart from this, we enjoyed the tranquillity of the vacinity and drove out to wherever we wanted from there. We would recommend this place if you have a rental car.

AAnonymous UserGreat hotel for its price, nearby the Furano Prince ropeway and ski areas only 5 minutes by taxi or their daily shuttle bus that only service once 8.30am and back 6pm to and from the prince ropeway ski area. For dinner, it was close when we're there so I had to walk 15 mins to the nearest Lawson convince store in the snow. Recommend to get your lunch or dinner prepared before coming here. Room was clean and complete. Thanks for the hotel for a great stay

BBeliaYmy first time staying at a hostel and i am quite impressed. it is apparently quite new at the moment. it is clean in general. i booked a female only dormitory room for 4 nights and was lucky that i had the whole room for the first 3 nights. t
Owner is helpful and responds fast when i message them over trip.com. Worth the value to stay for those travel alone for ski/snowboard. Location is so convenient to the North Gondola.
