Ya'an was humid and hot, and the air conditioning in our room didn't cool down even a degree from the time we checked in until around 10:00 AM. It was almost midnight, and the issue still wasn't resolved. The hotel's response was that the room was full and the air conditioning couldn't cool enough, so they sent in an air conditioner. Since the hotel is dozens of kilometers from downtown and all over the mountain roads, we checked around for other hotels, but some were full, some were difficult to get out of, and it was dangerous, so we decided to stay. It was so hot I barely slept that night. When I left the hotel the next day, someone came out and didn't resolve the issue. They offered 300 yuan in compensation, but I declined. I've never encountered such a hotel before. The service was poor, and there were so many excuses. It's like a state-owned enterprise that's gone awry. This is truly the worst hotel I've ever seen in the world. The stay was terrible. 👎 The afternoon tea set with tea by the fire: I didn't enjoy it because the terrace was also extremely hot. Who would sit there sweating while drinking tea? The hotel's environment and hardware and software just don't match up. Sichuan is a major tourist province, and the complaint platform is useless.

When we went in October, the hotel was no longer providing access to the swimming pool (in rooms and public areas). I wonder if there are any alternatives for guests arriving during this period.
