🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

Although the hotel is a bit far from the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, you can contact the owner in advance for a pickup service. However, the moment you step into the hotel, you'll realize it's all worth it. **Facilities**: The rooms feature Song-style decor, and they even provide Dyson hair dryers! Make sure to choose a room with a bathtub because after playing in the water at both Daqikong and Xiaoqikong, a nice warm bath back at the hotel is perfect for preventing colds and relaxing your body. It's truly wonderful. **Hygiene**: The cleanliness is impeccable, no need to say more. The hotel is relatively new, with no unpleasant renovation odors, and all the facilities are quite modern. **Ambiance**: It feels like a private villa, very quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. There's a courtyard view, a waterfall, a fish pond, and a small stream. Sipping tea in the courtyard is incredibly relaxing. What's even better is having breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the mountains and water with a gentle breeze. That's the ideal state of travel. **Service**: The service is also fantastic. The owner personally attends to guests, offering pickup and even afternoon tea. If you can't have it on-site, they'll even pack it for you! Most importantly, they have a dryer. After playing in the water, everyone's clothes get wet, especially children's, and they'll help dry them overnight. The breakfast is genuinely excellent, the best I've had on this trip. Enough said, just look at the pictures!

I have to commend this B&B. After extensive research and reviews online, I chose this one, and it was absolutely worth it! The pick-up service was very thoughtful. It's quiet and clean. The room facilities are both practical and comprehensive, with a dryer and a bathtub by the window, offering natural scenic views. All the bathroom fixtures are Kohler, which for this price point, is top-notch. The front desk staff provided excellent and attentive service. Personally, I feel room 301 is the quietest and most comfortable. The soundproofing is also superb! Highly recommend!!! Service: They even included tickets to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, which has stunning views. We had a great time, and if I get the chance to visit Libo again, I'll definitely choose this place.

This hidden gem of a guesthouse deserves a perfect five-star rating! The location is absolutely fantastic; open the window and you're greeted by endless rolling hills. The environment is wonderfully tranquil and serene, a complete escape from the city's hustle and bustle – it's incredibly therapeutic. The Instagrammable spots in the courtyard are truly delightful. The pink heart installation is perfect for photos, and combined with the whimsical decor and local-themed ornaments, every shot turns out to be stunning and atmospheric. It's great for both couples and friends to enjoy. The courtyard's greenery is lush and well-maintained, the anti-corrosion wood pathways are clean and tidy, and the lounge areas are soft and comfortable. After exploring, sitting down to enjoy the breeze and the mountain and water views is incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation!

The hotel service was absolutely fantastic, making us feel like royalty for two whole days! 😂 They provided transportation to and from the scenic spots daily, and we even got to enjoy a lovely foot bath in the evenings. Our room offered a stunning view of the Zhangjiang River, surrounded by lush greenery, which was incredibly refreshing. The complimentary BBQ was super fresh, and the beef noodles for breakfast were hands down the best we had throughout our entire Guizhou trip! The only minor downside was the bathroom layout – it felt a bit cramped, and the doors for the shower and toilet were awkwardly close. Also, the sink drained a bit slowly. However, these small issues didn't detract from the overall excellent experience. This guesthouse is highly recommended! 👍

The place is beautiful and everything in the room was so modern and comfortable. The manager even picked us up from nearby location when we didn’t get a cab. The food was also customised to suit preferences. I wish I had more time, I’d love to stay for more days. The whole team was so hospitable and helpful. Whatever we needed was arranged as per requirement. I miss the kids of the family so much. Highly recommend the place and will definitely come back in future. I was extremely satisfied with my stay. When choosing a hotel, I saw many positive reviews for this place and was worried they might be fake, but it turned out to be exactly as described online. The entire guesthouse was clean and tidy, the rooms were spacious and bright with good natural light, and there were no unpleasant odors. The restaurant on the first floor is quite large and offers a variety of local specialties at reasonable prices. There's also a swimming pool downstairs, and the night view is beautiful. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Libo.

The room may have just been renovated, there is a strong pungent smell, and the window glass is still full of white ash dust. There are many varieties of breakfast, and the soup noodles taste really good. Parking is in the yard, very spacious. The front desk service is good!

This hotel is very close to the scenic spot, and the boss will take you there by electric car. My wife had a sore throat, and the boss drove the electric car to take her to buy medicine! We didn't eat out at night, so we ordered food at the B&B, which was also very good! The noodles for breakfast were also delicious! In short, this is a highly recommended hotel! Note: The TV can be projected!

Highlights: * Good location inside the park * Clean and comfortable rooms * Decent breakfast * Very kind and helpful staff * Excellent reception team * Pleasant resort environment Important Tip for Travelers: If you are arriving from Libo Airport or Libo Railway Station, inform the reception in advance about your arrival time. The hotel can arrange transportation from the park entrance to the hotel. Regular taxi services or Didi usually drop guests at the main park entrance, and reaching the hotel from there can be difficult . First-time visitors may find the hotel location confusing. Arranging pickup with the hotel beforehand will make your arrival much smoother. Overall, a very good resort with friendly staff, clean rooms, and a convenient location inside the park. The only challenge is transportation from the entrance, which can be easily resolved by contacting the hotel before arrival.
