Libo Hotels with Bars

Of all the places I visited on this trip, Libo was the most satisfying. Before coming to Guizhou, I rarely chose guesthouses, whether for business or leisure, because the quality of a guesthouse really tests the owner's ability and character, including key aspects such as cleanliness, price, and reasonable room conditions. Yu She's rooms were excellent in terms of layout and cleanliness, the view from the windows was beautiful, and the common areas were well-equipped and well-furnished. I really liked the wet rice noodles for breakfast. Getting around, taking taxis, and finding restaurants nearby were all very convenient. It was also very quiet at night, which was great for light sleepers. I'm very grateful to the owner for the complimentary bayberry soup. I will definitely visit Libo again if I have the chance!

🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

This stay was absolutely fantastic! We traveled during the off-season, and the hotel thoughtfully arranged pick-up and drop-off service, which was incredibly helpful for us traveling with a small child. Upon arrival, they even upgraded our room ❤️. My little one loved the rooftop pool and the nutritious breakfast – it was absolutely amazing! The hotel environment is superb and very photogenic. You can also experience ethnic costumes, herbal foot baths, and more. During peak season, they even offer plant printing, so it's really perfect for families with kids. Finally, and most importantly, the service from all the staff at the hotel was excellent! I'll definitely book here again on my next visit.

The place is beautiful and everything in the room was so modern and comfortable. The manager even picked us up from nearby location when we didn’t get a cab. The food was also customised to suit preferences. I wish I had more time, I’d love to stay for more days. The whole team was so hospitable and helpful. Whatever we needed was arranged as per requirement. I miss the kids of the family so much. Highly recommend the place and will definitely come back in future. Family Experience and Feelings: Advantages: 1. Excellent location next to the ancient city. 2. The rooftop swimming pool is quite nice with a wide view. 3. The staff were very attentive and provided good service, but the products and details didn't live up to the price. 4. The hotel has a light luxury design with a nice bar atmosphere. 5. The breakfast was delicious and nutritionally balanced, with freshly cut fruit and freshly ground coffee available in the morning. 6. The complimentary gift of wine and small tea packets was a thoughtful touch. 7. High-speed rail shuttle service was provided, but we didn't use it. Disadvantages: 1. The location is average; there are no views from the rooms, as it's located in a corner on the edge of the ancient city. 2. The fruit and pastries served initially weren't fresh. 3. The room design is unreasonable; the bathroom glass in the standard room and family room is semi-transparent. 4. There's no extra place to hang clothes in the room, and the electrical outlets are unstable. The air conditioner switch is conveniently located in the middle of the bed; it's very hot when you enter, and you have to run to the bed to turn it on. The room lacks smart home features, unlike other rooms costing around 200 yuan. 5. The foot bath basin was tiny, the herbal medicine packet was also tiny, and the water they delivered was probably boiling water; I almost got scalded. I had to add cold water until it was almost overflowing before I could soak my feet. Compare that to the huge packet from Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village.

Perfect for a family getaway. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and their service was exceptionally thoughtful. We had a child with us, and they didn't charge extra for the food our little one ordered. Overall, it offers great value for money. The package included afternoon tea, a Yao ethnic group bath, and a barbecue in the evening. Staying in the courtyard made time feel like it slowed down, and enjoying a barbecue and a drink in the evening was incredibly relaxing. It’s ideal for escaping the city.

Facilities: complete. There is a bathtub in the room, which is very suitable for relaxing after a trip. Hygiene: clean. The room is quite big and the hygiene is very good. Environment: Very good, very convenient, there is an ancient city food street not far from here. Service: Very good, very warm, stayed for two nights.

It's a very nice hotel, it's a bit old now with the decor but still good, the room is big, bed is very comfortable, water in the shower is strong , location wise is about 20 minutes drive to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area and same going to Libo train station, if you want head in the Ancient town, its about 5 to 10 minutes away, Breakfast is ok, lots of dishes to choose from, the staffs are very nice and check in was straight forward, Overall very good stay.

Five-star review! A full five stars is a must! My stay was truly wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean; the bed was spotless, and the bathroom was free of water stains and odors, making me feel safe and secure. The courtyard and hallways are cleaned daily, keeping the environment clean and tidy. The owner's service was incredibly warm and attentive; they were always there for me if I needed anything during check-in, and were genuinely welcoming. The service was exceptionally attentive! There's a food street just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient to eat and shop for snacks—meals are never a problem. The environment is quiet and pleasant, and it's convenient for getting around. Excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommended! This is a great hotel for the area, with elegant interiors. Sitting by the river, the views are expansive. The service was warm and friendly, and they even upgraded our room. Breakfast was also very generous. We would definitely stay here again.
