Customer service was excellent as staff were very friendly and proactive to render support. I gave one star for amenities due to food that was not fresh, which probably led to my food poisoning. After eating the buffet breakfast, I suffered from food poisoning. My best guess was the soybean milk or fried fritters (油条) which seemed to be recooked leftovers. Luckily my son and wife did not eat them. During the same buffet breakfast, my wife found the baby tomatoes to be rotten and alerted the chef to remove them. In addition, supper during my second night was cold green bean soup likely to be leftover from my first night supper. Lastly, another minor problem was that my room didn't have any towel rack to hang bath towels which was quite inconvenient. Dryer in washing machines malfunction as my washed clothes were still wet after 3hours of drying.

Qingcheng Houshan Mountain View Hotel. On a business trip to Chengdu, I temporarily decided to stay at the hotel in the Qingcheng Houshan Scenic Area. Although it was more than 8 pm when I arrived, the scenery of the ancient town in the mountains was really beautiful. Although I was very tired and didn't go shopping, this hotel was really good and decorated very elegantly. I lived in a big bed room with a view. The mountain outside can be seen in the room. The view is very pleasant. The room itself is also very comfortable. In the morning, I also specially cleaned up the bed and took photos. The hotel also has outdoor hot springs. Although it was too tired at night, I didn't go to the hot springs. When I checked out this morning, I still felt that the environment and facilities here were worth recommending. You can take a bath anytime you want. You can also enjoy the drinks, snacks and fruits in the room while taking a bath. The breakfast is homely, with eggs and side dishes, etc. There are also swings in the yard. If there is sunshine, you can sit in the yard and drink tea and bask in the sun. The homestay is very close to Tai'an Ancient Town, but the owner provides pick-up and drop-off services, which is very friendly for us to bring our 8-month-old child to play! ! ! There is also a massage chair in the public area on the first floor. You can massage before and after the bath. My teammates said it was very comfortable!

The hotel service is very thoughtful and patient. In the evening, hot milk is delivered to the room before bedtime. It is responsive to every request. The hotel environment is very good, in the mountain stream, the room is also very good, there is a private hot spring in the yard, it is very comfortable to soak after climbing the mountain. Location is great - 10.mins walk to the railway station and around 25mins walk yo the ancient city, North Bridge, etc. Breakfast co-hosted by Holiday Inn. Disappointed - we went in around 8:15 am. Most food not replenished. No pancake available at pancake stand. Said sold out. Staffs eager to clear table. By 9am, no kitchen staff around. So we cancelled next day breakfast. Website said there is massage room. Tried to make booking, reception said no. Asked if there is massage nearby, reception asked me to search the website. Google, FB and WhatsApp were blocked. Reception staffs don't speak English. Wish they smile.
