Romantic Hotels in Guangzhou

This resort is extremely tranquil. It is one of the best designed resorts of its kind that I have been to in China. The Hot Springs are very peaceful, and the rooms are fantastic. The only downsides were - the food is poor for vegetarians. The Thai and ‘international’ options seem more like what a Chinese person who has never left China might guess people eat abroad (cold French fries or ham boiled in milk for breakfast anyone?). The hot springs play background music, which could be lovely… but the choice of dance and pop music completely clashes with the atmosphere… it’s the strangest decision. Finally, the hot springs are centered around a massive pool that has been drained, presumably for the winter. It is not taped up with warning tape which looks like the police are securing a murder scene. After investing hundreds of millions in the resort, why fail to make the pool accessible all year round? The resort is not cheap… but the murder-tape pool makes it look like a low-end budget resort. This is a real shame, because the rest of the resort is phenomenal.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The Swiss themed loft was lovely; spacious, quaint, clean and all appliances were functioning. Pictures are accurate. The private onsen was nice. The temperature gauge wasn’t working though. The outdoor space around the onsen, especially the tired and stained walls, can be a little cleaner but it didn’t damper the experience. The staff were brilliant. 小李 at reception was very helpful. The fondue we preordered wasn’t available but he arranged for a replacement hotpot swiftly. When I left my key inside, one message on WeChat and he was at the door within minutes. 阿寶 at the restaurant was also superb. She was very attentive and proactive. Service is 100/100. Would certainly return!

What a lovely experience. We received a warm welcome at reception from Leo, who was helpful through out the whole stay. He was even prepared to show is around the town. The room and facilities were lovely and the restaurant was special. Great stay and a lovely weekend getaway.

...I arrived at 5:30 in the morning. I could stay for 24 hours after half an hour. I just wanted to check out at 3 o'clock, but I couldn't. I could check out at 2 o'clock when I came here before. Since I wanted to soak in hot springs, I wanted to find one closer to Conghua Hot Spring near Guangzhou. I didn’t expect that there would be a type similar to Japanese hot spring hotels, so I decided to give it a try after seeing good reviews. I took a taxi from Hong Kong to Guangzhou and then took a taxi from the high-speed train station to Conghua, which takes about 1.5 hours. When we arrived, it turned out to be a hot spring villa and a B&B. As soon as we arrived at the door, the boss greeted us warmly. The room was clean and tidy. There was a hot spring bath enough for 3 people. After checking in, the housekeeper attentively took the initiative to send some B&B information and how to use the hot spring and bathroom in a video. This was very considerate. The public area of ​​the B&B is a Japanese-style pavilion. There are free clothes and tripods that can be borrowed. The boss carefully taught everyone how to take good-looking photos and helped us take some beautiful photos, which turned out really good! The breakfast is very healthy and nutritious to my taste. I rarely write such a long review. The owner’s hospitality is worthy of a 5-star rating. Of course, the B&B cannot be compared with a Japanese hot spring hotel, but the details can be seen that a lot of effort has been put into the management. My friends and I also visited Very happy!

The hotel is located by the Pearl River, and you can see the Window of Guangzhou and the Little Slender Waist across the river. The hotel is strategically located, close to the bus stop, and very close to Canton Tower. It takes less than an hour to walk to Canton Tower. The room is clean and tidy, the bed is soft, and the air conditioning is very powerful. It is a very good stay experience! ! ! !

The bathtub is equipped with sea salt, which is comfortable for bathing. The funniest thing is that only the light under the bathtub is the best for reading, and there is no reading light at the head of the bed, which is not suitable for people who like to read before going to bed, so they have to take a bath and read. Fortunately, the tables, chairs and benches are relatively light and can be moved at will, so the chairs are moved to the side of the sound system, so there is good light for reading before going to bed. Hygiene: clean, comfortable, and no mosquitoes. Environment: There is an outdoor balcony outside the room, equipped with tables and chairs. It is also good to avoid disturbing my husband to read outside in the morning. It is hot at other times, so I can only stay in the room, but the view outside the room is full of green. The roof can be opened by remote control. I like light, so it is open at other times except when I sleep. Service: One-to-one butler service, no need to worry about any problems. The breakfast was good quality and the coffee was delicious.

In addition to the stove, the warm reception was also warm and down-to-earth. The hotel housekeepers chatted like old friends. The room type we booked was very suitable for our family. The children said it was their secret base, which was quite interesting. After the sun came out the next day, the children ran in the fields. It seemed that both adults and children felt the experience of a paradise. The environment was very quiet and leisurely. Looking at the stove in a daze and listening to the sound of burning wood, it was probably a quiet time. I look forward to the appearance after the renovation, and I also look forward to the lychee trip after the opening of the new store.
