Hampton by Hilton Properties in Guangzhou

We arrived at the hotel quite late in the evening. I spoke to the front desk about needing a twin room, and the friendly staff member enthusiastically told us they could combine the beds to make a 2.4-meter-wide bed, which was absolutely perfect for us traveling with a child. He even had a staff member help us set up the bed and brought us children's toothbrushes and slippers. He also helped us with our luggage to the room. The service was truly outstanding! Special shout-out to the tall, slender guy at the front desk – 100% excellent!

I absolutely have to rave about this hotel! The front desk staff, especially Xiao Fang, was incredibly thoughtful. When I checked in, she proactively shared the most convenient transportation routes to Chimelong and Canton Tower, and even reminded me about the mall's operating hours. She was also very patient in answering all my questions. The hotel's location is superb. There's a mall right next door, making dining and shopping super convenient. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to Chimelong and Canton Tower. The breakfast was plentiful, offering both Western and Chinese options, and the ingredients were fresh. The service was very responsive. When I needed a charging cable and a lighter blanket, they were delivered quickly. This stay completely exceeded my expectations. Whether it was the service, location, or dining, everything was top-notch. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Guangzhou, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip here!

The hotel is well-equipped. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly warm and thoughtful. Breakfast was excellent. The only minor downsides were the lack of a laundry room, and parking being a bit inconvenient. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower amenities were excellent. When I checked in, the front-desk staff member mocked me. She seemed to think I was using someone else’s passport because I was holding an Australian passport while speaking Mandarin. I requested a quieter room away from the main road, but she refused. I was wearing shorts because the weather was warm, yet she looked down on me as a customer. I’m extremely disappointed with her attitude. 我在办理入住时，前台工作人员嘲笑我。因为我拿的是澳大利亚护照但用中文与她交流，她似乎认为我在用别人的护照。我提出想换到一间远离主干道、比较安静的房间，但她拒绝了。当天天气很热，我穿着短裤，她却因此看不起我这个客人。她的态度让我非常失望。

The hotel has charging stations, an excellent location with convenient transportation nearby, making getting around super easy. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a high-quality sleep. The price was reasonable, offering great value for money. The overall experience far exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to other travelers.

I originally booked a business queen room, but to my delight, I got a room upgrade upon check-in! The hotel breakfast was excellent and very enjoyable. The room was spacious with great soundproofing. All my requests made before booking were noted and fulfilled, which made my stay incredibly satisfying. When I checked out, the lovely lady at the front desk even gave me a souvenir keychain! 👍

Room is decent enough, not very humid. Didn't have a single storage closet. Staff doesn't speak a word of English. Breakfast options are not particularly western oriented. Cleaning lady rolls the garbage bin across the restaurant floor and collects the food remains, not really hygienic. Some broken furniture is just stored on the restaurant floor as well. All in all, solid sleepover for the price, but doesn't remotely resemble Hampton by Hilton brand. For the real pleasure, Pazhou branch is still the best option in Guangzhou, although fairly remote from Panyu.
