We booked the family suite room for two nights. We found a cigarette butt in the shower room and also the basin is cracked. The tiles floor was defective, the hotel just covered it with a towel to pretend the floor is alright. At night, we are not able to sleep as the room is full of cigarette smell. We complained to the reception but was told because we didn’t request for smoke free condition therefore the hotel did not make any arrangement to clean the air. This is unreasonable as it is a basic requirement of the hotel to make all necessary cleaning arrangement regardless whether the guest is a smoker or not. We believe this is something need to be improved. Be that as it may, we are very grateful for the receptionist’s assistance in helping to search for a cable.

The double rooms are large enough, but the equipment is a bit old, the TV is not big, and the decoration has been many years. The shower faucet in the bathroom is very old, and the water is always hot, probably because of the hot weather and the sun. The breakfast variety is average, noodles and rice noodles are all cooked by themselves, and poached eggs are also self-service. There are only two kinds of fruits, the watermelon is from the west, and the plums are not ripe and very sour.

Quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle, completely unaffected by the viaduct, very quiet at night. The room is large and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast was richer than expected and very delicious. Went to several iconic attractions in Guangzhou.

The reason I stayed at this hotel was to go to the gym. The hotel cooperates with a fitness equipment store at the door, and the equipment is free for hotel guests to use. The equipment is very complete and great. I stayed on the first floor of the hotel on a business trip, and there was a terrible problem. Two small centipedes were found in the room, probably because of the rain. It is recommended not to stay on the first floor, it is a bit scary.
