I reserved a corner ocean view room but upon check-in was told that they had upgraded my room to their tower. When I arrived at that room, it overlooked some other roofs of buildings and a pool. This was in no way an upgrade. I called the front desk and told them that I was not happy. They found an ocean/beach view room and moved me. It was not the corner room that I had reserved, but it was okay. As far as the hotel itself, it is a bit dated and needs some renovations. The AC controls in the room does not give an option to select a temperature. It is merely a push button panel with low/med/high buttons (very dated). The room television was very small (about 32”, if that much) and the remote control menu was difficult to navigate. I would have to keep pushing the menu button to get it to finally change from the hotel channel to those of the movie and television channels. The remote control requires some sort of ir device located under the TV to work. It looks like a spy camera, but I used my personal bug/camera detector and decided it was just an ir device for the remote (strange and very dated). Of the three lobby elevators, only one was working. The elevator that takes you to the basement parking makes strange noises and the panel buttons are damaged. The aquarium located near the lobby had tons of algae growth and was in dire need of cleaning. The lighting in the aquarium was very dim and in need of repair/replacement. This was not an appealing aesthetic. When I checked out at 0500 there was nobody working at the front desk. I rang their bell a few times and nobody showed so I left my room key on their counter and proceeded to the airport. As far as the restaurants, the breakfast buffet was good with several options. The Japanese restaurant Sagano was very nice and the food was great. They obviously have a talented chef there. The hotel staff for the most part were very nice. It was just the check-in process mentioned above that was very unsatisfactory. All in all, I will choose a different hotel the next time that I go to Guam.

PIC is the hotel with the most abundant parent-child facilities and the most fun in Guam, except that the room facilities are a bit outdated. The diverse activities and rich facilities in the water park allow parents to not worry about what their children want to play, as long as they relax and bask in the sun and listen to their laughter - swimming pools, water slides, water volleyball, and water basketball. Water tug-of-war, windsurfing, kayaking, floating harbor, and beach volleyball can all be played here. The hotel offers various instructional classes for beginners, including tennis. Snorkeling, sailing, etc. The hotel provides all entertainment equipment and coaches for free. Courses can be reserved in advance. Generally, the hotel can reserve the same day's courses in the morning. In addition to differences in room types, accommodation PICs are also divided into gold cards and silver cards. The main difference is that the gold card includes three meals, while the silver card only includes breakfast. When booking a room on Ctrip, you can only see the meal package price by selecting multiple days. Friends who want to spend time in PIC can choose the gold card. In this place where you can spend US dollars, you can buy three meals for a family with less than one thousand yuan a day. All the restaurants in PIC are of good quality! PIC has many delicious restaurants to choose from, including American, Western, Japanese, and buffets. The key is that an adult can bring a child under 11 years old to dine for free, and a family of four with two children does not need to pay extra for the child. It’s a waste. You can snorkel on the beach in the hotel here. There are many corals and small fish, but the corals are a bit badly damaged. Asian faces account for 80% of the tourists here, and more than 90% of them are Koreans. After three days in the hotel, I didn't meet anyone who spoke Chinese. During the National Day holiday, the country is crowded, and here everyone is surrounded by Smectas.

The swimming pool is connected to the sea, making it the most accessible. The bedding was also nice and soft. Breakfast is average (good value for money) However, we recommend that you pay the deposit in cash. I was withdrawn $150 every day. Since it was a check card, the deposit would not be returned until several months had passed. A total deposit of about $320 was withdrawn. On the last day, I received confirmation from the staff that the deposit would not be deducted (I set the balance on the card to 0 won just in case), but in the early morning of the next day, I received another $150 approval failure text message. This is a place where the deposit is taken almost as much as the room price. Where is it? ^_ㅠ I think you kept about $500 as a deposit. Looking at other reviews, I saw that some people only paid $100 in cash, but I thought it would be cleaner to pay in cash in advance and receive cash back when checking out to avoid any headaches🙃 In addition, there were other hotel issues, and even though it was the weekend, Trip.com quickly contacted me through chat and it was resolved well. Thanks to you, I ended my trip in a good mood. Trip.com is awesome Anyway, I have no intention of visiting this hotel again.

My childhood memories are filled with fond recollections of the days when this hotel was known as Daichi, and the Seahorse was its neighbor. It's heartwarming to witness the tremendous growth in the form of the Crowne Plaza, now in its third iteration. Despite the substantial exodus of people from Guam and the challenges faced by the hospitality industry, my experience at the Crowne Plaza was nothing short of spectacular — even amidst the aftermath of the most devastating natural disaster to hit the island in over 20 years. During my visit, the hotel experienced sell out occupancy for several days before and after my stay. To complicate matters, some rooms were rendered unavailable due to storm damage. Yet, to my amazement, both of my rooms were seamlessly upgraded without request, including one room to a one-bedroom suite. This exceptional resource management and commitment to their loyalty program and customers leaves me truly impressed. The hotel honored all Diamond Elite benefits, and with the Club lounge temporarily closed due to the storm, we were accommodated with equivalent offerings in the Lobby lounge. The Crowne Plaza's complete makeover, featuring a contemporary design, elevates it to the status of a brand-new hotel rather than a simple update with - and this distinction is important - new yet outdated hardware. For example, their innovative digital elevator is a fresh concept on Guam, separating them from their local competition. I want to extend my sincerest appreciation to Abegail. Her exceptional service and assistance with check-in and resolution of an issue with our room rate demonstrated her expertise. I booked the best flexible rate and even that somehow doubled. Abegail took charge and resolved the matter. Her proactive approach and willingness to be our point of contact for any requests or concerns displayed remarkable initiative whilst juggling her duties at the counter. My gratitude extends to Abegail, the housekeeping, facilities, F&B, and the entire team for the outstanding care they provided during such challenging circumstances. A special thank you goes out to Tan Holdings and IHG for their continued investment in and commitment to the Crowne Plaza to ensure not just a future, but a brighter future, for Guam's hospitality industry.

At the recommendation of some friends, I decided to stop for a walk to the Japanese tank on the property and lunch at one of the restaurants. I was stopped at 2 security checkpoints on my way to the main resort building and had a positive experience with the guards at those locations. I was instructed by security to check in at the front desk before proceeding to the tank. I then proceeded to the front desk and things quickly went downhill. On my way into the resort, a 3rd security guard was present and was yelling and whistling obnoxiously at other hotel patrons who were apparently not using the sidewalk. Why they have so many security guards all over the property, I can’t figure out. I get to the front desk and the woman working had no idea what tank I was talking about and went to speak with her manager. When she returned, I was told to leave the property immediately or I would be removed by security. No reason was given nor was there a mention of my request to walk to the tank. I tried to reason with the staff and was told to go to the Tour Lounge to see about options for going to the tank. The woman working the desk for the tours didn’t speak good English, so I believe she was telling me I had to pay $200 to go on a Jeep tour to the tank, that there were no trips for that day, and she was unable to tell me when the next tour opportunity would be. With the threat of removal from the property for no reason and inability to communicate with the tour desk staff, I decided it best to not give LeoPalace any business and I promptly departed without seeing the tank or eating lunch. Very poor customer service and way too many security guards. Felt like a jail.

After a long struggle, I finally chose this one because I saw everyone saying that this hotel's beach is its own, not a public beach. Another reason is that although this hotel is also quite expensive, it is still cheaper than those in the city center. It costs $35 + $1/piece of luggage to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Later, when we left the hotel, I asked the hotel front desk to help book a taxi to the airport one day in advance, and the hotel told me directly that it was $25 + $1/piece of luggage. Although the hotel is not located in the city center, it is very far north, but Guam is really not big, and the south is the living area. The activity area of tourists is mainly in the north. It takes only 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to the city center. The balcony of the room directly overlooks the sea. The hotel's own beach is very clean, not crowded, and very comfortable, but it is relatively shallow. If you want to swim, you have to walk a little further into the sea. The public beach in the city center is a little more crowded, but it's actually okay. There are not many people in the whole Guam, and there are not many tourists. The hotel room facilities are OK, and everything is available, but don't measure it by the standards of four or five stars. The sanitation is OK. The hotel will put environmentally friendly coffee cups in the room, which are given according to the number of people. You can take them away. Bottled water is not provided in the room. There are water purifiers and ice machines on each floor. You have to get drinking water yourself. There are glass bottles in the room for water, and of course you can get it yourself with a cup. The tap water cannot be drunk directly. There are restaurants in the hotel, and even a Chinese restaurant, but we always go out to eat. There are various restaurants on both sides of the road from the hotel to the city center, which is quite convenient. In general, in Guam, where everything is very expensive, this hotel has a good value for money.
