It provides breakfast which is very nice but there are many flies in the restaurant. The cleanness of it is poor.

Huge shout out to Simona!!!! Simona saved our day :-) we turned up, having booked what we thought was this hotel on the same day. But turned out to be another hotel of the same miles away. Simona managed to accommodate us when there were no other available rooms in the town. THANK YOU SIMONA :-) You didnt have to help us but you did.

Nice place to stay. Good location and easy to go everywhere.

The hotel is some distance from the train station, and there is a slope in the middle, so pushing suitcases will be difficult. The room is quite large and unique, with the feel of a log cabin. It's a pity that the breakfast provided by the hotel does not have many varieties.

I tried to go downstairs for two days hoping to get two more sachets of shampoo, but no one paid attention to me. I went to the restaurant to look for them because the clerk had to take care of the restaurant work, and there were too many customers and they were too busy and had a bad attitude. They called me. I stand here waiting for 5 minutes, but I don’t have the patience to wait at all. The next morning I wanted to get shampoo and the situation was still the same. Finally, I can’t wash my hair Breakfast is good, the dining table has been set up in advance, the breakfast area is elegantly decorated, warm and cozy, you can try Swiss-style ham and omelettes, it is really sincere, I give it full marks for breakfast Some of the waiters have very good attitudes, but some are really impatient, and the quality of individual staff varies  , the location is very good and it should get a higher score. Overall, I give it 3.5 to 4 points. If you get a newly renovated room, the score will be higher. As for the attitude of the staff. There were one or two of them, and the others were all very enthusiastic, especially an older woman, who was worried that we didn't have enough eggs and said she could give them more. In short, the staff are very different, so it is difficult for me to make a conclusion about this hotel.

The hotel arranged a snow-capped mountain view for me, and the accommodation environment was very good! Only the breakfast options were small and the staff did not add food in time. 

Although it is an old hotel, the rooms and toilets have been renovated. It is very convenient if you are traveling in Grindewald. Although there is no kettle, you can ask them for hot water. The front desk is sometimes not there, but it is understandable in a small city.

One of the best spots to stay in Grindelwald. It's stone a stone's throw away from Firstbahn (cable car to Mount First) and about 10-15mins slow walk to the Train Station. Bus is also an option almost just in front of it. As a bonus, one of their staff--Jennifer, always gives a nice vibe during breakfast. One of the kindest staff I've met! Thank you Jennifer for the kind treatment!
