I have been traveling in hotels for 40 years, I attended all the hotel management schools and for 30 years I have been dealing with projects in the field of tourism. I have never experienced or seen a worse hotel in my life and every normal country and tourist inspection should close such hotels immediately. We paid the hotel for accommodation and stay in advance Our flight to Malaga was late and we politely contacted the hotels about the delay and indicated that we would arrive at night We got a phone call who will call us and open the hotel (in all announcements it is stated that the reception is open 24 hours a day and that it is physically open until 10 p.m.) No one answered at 1:30 a.m. We barely found accommodation in another hotel. The second morning when we arrived, the receptionist treated us like criminals It means thieves, robbers and people who have no place in tourism because they disgrace their country and their city and everything that has to do with tourism. We also experienced ethnic insults, insistence on communication only in Spanish, and an attempt to subvert an annex to the contract written in Spanish. We also reported everything to the police

We stayed in the loft suite, aka the attic. It’s a huge room with a full kitchen, dining table sofas and a separate bedroom and full w suite bathroom. Modern. Clean. Nicely appointed. The staff is friendly, the location perfect and there is parking available in a building near by.

The hotel was very comfortable, both for staff, facilities and location. The staff was very friendly and informed us well of all the service they counted on. The room was clean, warm and everything worked properly. The only defect was that in the shower mampara the water was filtered a little and a little attached. I had to go carefully not to overflow out. We don't pay for any meal, but your service has a community kitchen with free coffee, tea and drinks. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, close to all the important monuments. I recommend 100% if you look for something good and cheap

As others have said Antonio and his brother that run the place are warm, welcoming and super helpful. We drastically changed our check in time and he was kind enough to accommodate us. We also used them for the pickup from the airport which was very helpful and 30 euro for my wife and I. I think that’s a good price for the distance from the airport and the convenience as well. The place is so charming and magical, with an incredible view of Alhambra that changes every hour of the day and night. We stayed in the “Persia” room, the double superior. It had a deep bathtub, a separate walk in shower. It also has French doors that open to a small step out balcony. Staying up on the hillside was the so idyllic and a bit away from the intensity of all the tourists in the main part of Granada. To us it was by far the best place you could stay in all of Granada/Albycian!

Things didn’t get off to a good start when our taxi driver drove us to the wrong Macia Hotel in Grenada. There are a few of them, so double check that your taxi driver verifies the address (and not just the hotel name). Being dropped off at the wrong hotel left us with story to tell and a couple fewer Euros for the second cab ride. Not the end of the world, though. And heck, we’re on vacation! The Hotel Macia Plaza is in the historic section of Grenada, facing a large plaza. The plaza features al fresco restaurants, and during our two say stay, impromptu parades and three different pairs of flamenco dancers! The area was wonderful for walking in all directions. We older folk took a five-minute, inexpensive taxi up to the Alhambra. After our Alhambra tour, we walked back to the hotel along a beautiful pedestrian walkway surrounded by a green forest and beautiful spring flowers. Our rooms (we had two) were disappointing. While clean, the rooms were very plain and tired. They lacked sufficient electrical outlets to plug in the tea kettle without unplugging the television. The front desk staff, however, was consistently helpful. Perhaps a reason the stay here is all the fun activity in the plaza. Certainly the price point was reasonable. Just don’t expect the Four Seasons.

The room was perfect for sleeping, bedroom and very comfortable cotton. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. The terrace was renovated, but they had one on the street where breakfast is very cheap, and during the day, when they stay there, they make you 2x1. We requested a double bed when we got to couple and be our birthday, and they satisfied us in that sense. We could have a fantastic anniversary. Thanks to the reception man who answered my call since he was super friendly with me. And when they arrived at the room they had a detail with us in bed. (Photo attached) If you want to spend not much money and go to the tour of Granada, 100% recommendable both the hotel and the staff. If we go back, by their location we will go back to this hotel. ¡¡¡Thanks to all the team!!!
