Our stay at this hotel was marred by a series of unfortunate experiences, starting from the moment we arrived. We were wrongly informed at check-in that our room had not been paid for, despite having completed full payment in advance. Rather than verifying the system, the staff member sat by as I anxiously searched my phone for proof. Ultimately, I had to show my credit card statement — something I consider private — just to resolve the matter. Her attitude was unwelcoming, which is especially disappointing in a hospitality setting. After discovering the payment had indeed been made, she gave only a brief and indifferent apology. Following this, my husband contacted the Manager, who offered a complimentary buffet dinner for two as an apology. While we appreciated the gesture, it was overshadowed by another issue: we later received a letter requesting us to check out by 7 a.m. the next day, even though our original arrangement was for a noon departure. After another call to the Manager, he once again apologised and offered a spa session for one person. Though his crisis management was swift, these issues should not have occurred — especially given the premium price we paid for our stay.
That said, there were redeeming aspects. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. The room opened directly onto the beach — it felt as though we had arrived at the sea the moment we opened our door. The room was also clean and well-maintained and we appreciated the convenience of having a coffee machine available.
In summary, while the scenery and room amenities were wonderful, the service and communication left much to be desired. We hope the management addresses these shortcomings so that future guests can enjoy a truly seamless stay.

Everything is great!!! Especially every staff was showing their professionalism with compassion,kindness, fun and extremely considering attitude♥️we do much appreciate for the following staffs to provide us the most memorable moments: Mohamed Shaffan has shown us the most considerate and hospitality when we checked in, the best check in experience!!! Birendra Nishan and Bella met us every morning at the breakfast bar with their most caring gesture😻unforgettable!!! Siraj had gave us the best room environment🥰Mohssin, Khadija and Zakhar have gave us the best dinner experience😘love them all!!! ps: very very delicious foods🐽♥️

Location is very close to Male and free transfer is a nice touch.
Good Balinese style villa with new facilities, great bathroom with outdoor shower and bath.
Nice breakfast and dinner buffet, not many options, but they have everything you need. Many drinks included.
A lot of greenery and trees on the island, many lizards, herons, bats. That’s great. And a lot of shade, great for walking.
Small coral reefs very close to the beach, so anyone not good at snorkelling can see the fish.
The hotel is very close to Male, a bit too close actually. It’s very popular among locals and Indians, so it’s kind of crowded. The hotel only have 2 beaches (not big actually) and if there are kids at the resort, the beach will be really noisy.
You will not have complete Maldivian sense while staying at this resort. It’s good, the sea is still beautiful, but there might be some trash in the water. You will hear every single airplane and seaplane coming to Male. It’s not quite what you expect from Maldives.
Water sports are very poor - not much options, not many snorkelling tours. Many facilities were broken or not available during our stay.
Bicycles are very expensive! Normally the bikes like that ( not the best quality actually) shall be complimentary for all guests.
Reception staff is not very talkative. They are kind of invisible. Although welcome staff was very nice and friendly.
Anyway, it’s great resort for 1-2 nights before or after your stay at some other remote island.

The best of the hotel is the staff. Always greetings, smiling and so kind. We really meet great people.
We took ALL INCLUSIVE which is recommended as hassle free. 5 restaurants with good food.
Location wise, it is not the best. On the south side you can all buildings of Hulumale , on the north side , a small island with electric power facilities. It take around 15 boat ride from the airport to the hotel.
Corals around the hotel are all dead but we can manage to see a lot of beautiful fishes. Need to snorkel a bit more far to see corals.
Special thanks to Shafeeg at the pool and Sateeshkumar at housekeeping. Two ladies ( Morocco and Indonesia) at the buffet restaurant are super nice.
Overall very happy with our holiday in Maldives . Unforgettable experience. Thanks again Sheraton team for your great hospitality

Staying at the Sheraton Maldives was an incredible experience. Out of all the resorts I’ve visited, this one stands out as amazing. They offer so much to do and keep you well informed. We had a personal assistant, Jennifer, who was fantastic in introducing us to everything and making us feel comfortable. During our stay, Russell helped us with all our needs.
While waiting to check into our room, we enjoyed a relaxation room equipped with air conditioning, couches, mini beds, and showers. As soon as we arrived on the island by boat, we were treated like royalty with scented lavender cooling towels. We were greeted warmly as we boarded the deck and given a heartfelt goodbye when we left.
The breakfast was outstanding, featuring a wide variety of options. The beaches and water were pristine. My favorite part of the trip was the amazing staff—they were friendly, kind, and went out of their way to make us feel special. Everything was arranged seamlessly, from our boat trip to the island to our return to Malé. I can’t wait to go back!

There was an initial problem trying to contact the resort to clarify certain things prior to arriving as emails were not responded to. However after this issue was rectified, upon arrival everything was superb, 5*.
The resort is excellent and service is paramount. Food is very good and there are additional activities offered (charged).
Well organised transfers from and to the airport and airport assistance was provided which was very good.
Staff were friendly and willing to help at all times.
Highly recommended.

Hotel good but staff and way off talking like we are staying free we are paying high price and in the evening I call for car to send us bar but they reply me walk is near I know near but I’m with child so rude way talking only one staff who talked proper at check in Burmese girl other all thinking we are staying free at their resort I will not recommend any to this hotel at all after paying this much this service

I was very happy during my stay at Sheraton Full Moon Maldives. It was my first time in the Maldives and was very impressed from the moment I stepped out of the transfer speedboat to the hotel. I got upgraded to the water villa and the service was beyond unexpected. We had dinner at Sea Salt on the first night and it was incrsdible amazing. I would really reccommend the place to those who are looking for the right place to stay in the Maldives.
