Hotel Monterey La Soeur Fukuoka Reviews

I posted earlier because i have already booked 2 nights before and 2 nights after my drive in Kyushu and UNFORTUNATELY chosen this hotel as my base in Fuk. BIGGEST mistake of my entire trip. In summary, while the location is excellent, the rooms for 2 adults and 1 child are tiny with no space to unpack and pack luggage. They only hv heater for winter and makes the room super stuffy to sleep. We ended up opening the window to the massive street noises the entire night. The 4 nights of sleep were torturous and we didnt rest well. Worst hotel in my entire kyushu trip. I couldnt change rooms, as expected, because they claimed all rooms are fully booked.  Such a disappointment and i should have spent my money on other hotels in Fuk. My entire holiday is ruined because of the lack of sleep. The beds are hard and forget abt wearing their yukatas as they are super stiff like starch. Please read my review and look at my photo before deciding on this hotel. I was misled by all the other glowing reviews.

Had a pleasant stay. Everything was perfect from concierge handling my car to be auto parked in hotel to greetings and responding to our needs. The bed was comfort and we were most glad to be given a free upgrade to a higher floor. Thank you so much.

Good location, good service, very clean, lots of restaurants nearby, close to shopping centre, highly recommended

There are many shopping centres as well as restaurants nearby, so it’s rather convenient for having food.

The best hotel in Tenjin , clean and good quality room , good service , highly recommend,near Tenjin station and department store such as mina tenjin parco,amu plaza and 7-11 at first floor love this hotel

Location is away from Nagasaki JR station but it nears Glover Garden. Service is good and room is clean.

Cosy little room with really comfortable beds. Less than 10 minutes walk from Tenjin station and the underground mall. Amazing parking service from the gentleman manning the carpark. Overall, good for short stay.

A basic small room which is meant for rest and sleep. The pillows are kind of soft. But this hotel is situated very conveniently to Tenjin subway and the major shopping centers like Parco, Daimaru etc.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and this hotel is very clean in the middle of the city, the service is good, very satisfying. Breakfast yummy Thanks

Staff is very nice. There is a free louge for cofee and tea during 7.00 AM - 24.00 PM. We could leave a luggage during our short trip to other city for 5 days without any charge.

Location is wonderful. Very close to Tenjin station. A lot of activities around. There’s a 7-11 right below the hotel. But room is overall small. The bathroom has a smell too.

Excellent service! I made a mistake in stating our requests for 2A1C, as our boy was fifteen. Yet, while checking into the fully booked hotel, the reception managed to help us solve that. Kudos to the management and excellent service. Breakfast was excellent, too! Will definitely come back on our next visit.

The room was spacious enough to open the luggage, Location is really good, Staff is kind. I want to visit this hotel again.
