Dukes Hotel Nakasu Reviews

The hotel is close to Kawabata Shopping Street and there are 5 food stalls next to it. The rooms are clean. The view from the rooms is not so good because of the neighboring buildings. Breakfast is available at the hotel, but we did not use it this time. The location is very good for visiting Nakasu. There are two parking lots near the hotel, and it costs 1500 yen per night.

Within 5 minutes walk from the subway station, the service staff is friendly, but the carpet in the room is a bit dusty

I stayed here for a training session. Payment could only be made on site, so I thought it would be nice to be able to pay in advance with a credit card.

It's a bit far from the subway station, but there is a convenience store opposite, which is quite convenient. The lobby and restaurant are beautiful, and the decoration is very retro. The location was good and there were many convenience stores nearby, so it was convenient, but the rooms in the hotel were just so dirty... There was so much dust and the carpet on the floor was sticky for some reason and it was really disgusting, and I'd like them to clean up the area behind the shelves where there are a lot of wires. There were so many spiders that I wondered if it was a home for insects. There were only three outlets in total, and one was broken and missing. This is the first time I've stayed in a hotel where there were so few outlets in the places I needed them. Also, the walls were so thin that I was woken up by the alarm in the next room, and the alarm on the bed went off at 7am even though I hadn't set it. The staff were very friendly and the location was great, so I would recommend it to people who don't mind a lack of cleanliness.

We arrived in the middle of the night and there were no issues. There was no water in the room, which made me wonder if this was normal.

The location is quite good. The facilities are clean. I was told there was a parking lot, but I was told I could use a nearby paid parking lot for 1,500 yen for 24 hours, which was a bit of a cheat.

Near Nakasu Kawabata Station, two intersections away, a row of yatai at the door, the transportation is quite convenient, 10 minutes walk to Tenjin, 20 minutes to Hakata. Of course, it is definitely not as convenient as staying in Hakata. There are *** nearby, and the streets are full of uninformed information. The facilities are quite complete, the bathtub is considered large in Japanese hotels of the same price, but a moth flew out from the bed on the last night and scared me. The room is opened by key and the power is plugged in.

I stayed in a room on the 8th floor for 3 nights. The top of the bathroom door (I think it's called a door closer?) was loose. It may have just been a coincidence. I hope it's fixed now (I tried to tell them when I checked out but forgot). I asked for the room not to be cleaned, but if I put the trash can and used towels outside the hair door (towards the hallway), they said they would clean it, so I was able to throw away the trash on the second day. Towels were prepared for replacement, but there were no replacement towels left on the third day. There was no shortage, so I didn't call or anything.

I stayed here on a solo trip. There were no particular issues. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation fee was reasonable, so I would like to stay here again!
